Bought this battery chainsaw to have around the house/farm to try out and absolutely love it. I use it all the time and it does everything I need it to do. Only tested on dead trees and soft wood like Maple and Pine, but it cuts great, and I'm surprised how long the 8.0 battery lasts with it. Would definitely recommend

The reviews cant be legitimate this saw lasted 15 minutes max with a 10AH battery on a 10” tree branch then I added another 10AH battery 10/15 minutes it died total junk i will return this $370 piece of junk

I love my Milwaukee top handle chain saw. It is my go to tool for cutting trees Very powerful and battery life is good

No gas needed and no pulling on a cord to get it started

It does exactly what its supposed to do, batteries do overheat a lot though

Excellent power, simplicity and quality. I’ve had it for a week, I used it to cut up 6” branches into firewood. I’ll use it to cut down a 12” diameter tree that was damaged in the recent storm. It more than meets my expectations. I’ve always used gas-powered chainsaws in the past, cutting 6 cords of wood per winter. I no longer do that, but I know chainsaws. This is a gem!

It is a very useful tool, with great power and easy to use. I first invested in a gasoline one and it turned out to be defective. With this chain saw I saved more than half of the money that they were going to charge me for cutting a tree from the trunk. I decided to replace all my battery tools, preferably with the Millwaukee brand, because they have never given me any problems and they have good performance.

The handles on the saw could have been designed better, the front and back handles are positioned close together making it awkward to saw.

This thing is great if you're only doing 5-10 small clean up cuts. Anything more save yourself some time and money and get gas. This thing will overheat batteries like you won't believe. I've got 3 batteries and they all overheat and die within 15-20 minutes.

I usually run a stihl 194 when clearing trails and atv paths but I decided to give this a go since I haven’t had a Milwaukee tool fail me yet. First impressions after a 6hr job.. I love it! This little saw definitely holds its own against the stihl gas saw. I cut for about 3 hrs until I had to swap the battery (8ah HO). Chain was super sharp and still is! Definitely a great little saw for a day on the trails.

Only used once to date but very impressed. Cleaned up a couple wind felled branches. 4" to 6" in size. The saw had no problem cutting through everything. I would say 20 minutes of cutting and when I put battery on charger it took nothing. Impressed with first use for sure!

Good chainsaw. Cut through my trees like butter. People saying there's burned up probably didn't put chain lube into the reservoir, and I'm sure that probably did the trick.

Works great on jobs where you don’t need a gas saw for an hour or two. I’ve cut 14” diameter trees down and into sections. But you need at least two batteries because for big trees the battery overheats and needs to cool down. The only problem I have is the 14” chains are hard to find at other chainsaw retailers, except Home Depot.

I made a handful of cuts with this saw on a brand new fully charged 8ah battery and it overheated. About 10 cuts off moderate sized wood. Wait about 15+ minutes for the battery to cool off and get another 10 cuts and the process repeats. Avoid. The saw quality is good, but battery performance is awful if you're trying to get real work done.

Works as needed, arrived sharp and ready touse

worked perfect for me, needed something to cut small trees in my yard. I already had 3 batteries that i use with my fan and other products.

The chainsaw was easy to use. I took down a whole tree with only two batteries. Be careful on big cuts, because the battery can overload them freeze.

Bought this saw and after 15 minutes of use on a 3-6” branch motor gave out returned it and got a second one which immediately started smoking after trying to cut a 4” branch returned the second one for a full refund.
