It's not the reviewers fault that HD/Milwaukee has all the reviews from across all Milwaukee's Mitre Saws combined. I see the same reviews no matter what size Milwaukee Mitre Saw I choose. I usually see this when a product gets such bad reviews that they just combine them all in a smokescreen effort to confuse the consumer or to make it appear to be a better rating than what it really is.

This saw is exactly what I expected from Milwaukee. Top of the line in every aspect. Cuts are smooth and precise, plenty of power and the 8.0A battery just toes and goes. The stand is also well built and the saw mounts relatively easily. Overall, besides it being a bit pricey, I couldn’t be happier.

It’s a great saw and I can carry it wherever I need it and it has a lot of other benefits

As a contractor that specializes in repairs this is a must have. No having to run cords and put them away saves valuable time. Cuts smooth and accurate. Would highly reccomend

Great saw. Lots of power and easy to use. Love the grey "laser" line that shows you exactly where the blade will cut. Very lightweight. I used it for about 30 cuts and did not reduce the 6.0 battery at all.

I am returning it the DeWalt cuts, more accurate and outperforms. This saw my partner has a Dewalt, and it completely puts this one to shame.

I am really impressed with the Milwaukee miter saw! I am a contractor and use a miter saw for everything from building a deck to installing trim. I did have to do a little adjusting out of the box but that is expected with any saw. It would have been fine for framing but not perfect for installing crown molding. I’ve only had it for a few projects so far and I am really happy with it. My only complaint so far is the dust collection. No saw I’ve had was perfect by any means but they usually collect more sawdust than this one does.

We like everything about this saw. It works great, lightweight for moving around.

This combo is well worth it. And regardless of what other contractors say it can 100% be dialed in to an effective trim saw. It is definitely an upgrade from the 7 1/4 DeWalt

I bought the 7 1/4 mitre saw a few years ago. I only used the saw a few times and have less than 200 cuts on it. Recently it has had a problem starting up smoothly. The motor hesitates and skips like an electrical contact is not making proper contact. The replacement kit for electronics is over $500.00. I paid less than $400.00 for the saw, battery, and charger!! If Milwaukee makes good on this in a reasonable way, I will amend this review with the the details.

I own several miter saws, and they each have their place. If you are looking for a portable saw for trim work, precise cuts, or a great power/weigh ratio, this is your answer. The lock can be a bit difficult to disengage when first receiving, but I have had no issuses since unboxing

Great saw and easy to use! I use it a lot to build small projects for my wife and do trim work. The led light on the saw is very bright and helps out tremendously!
