This tool saved me a lot of time taking out rusted bolts on a truck bed the other day.

The M18 Fuel Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 4.5 inch to 5 inch Grinder with Paddle Switch from Milwaukee may be the best grinder I've ever had. The tool is very responsive once you get the hang of it. You have to have both handles depressed in order to operate it, so it's a two-handed operation at all times. And if you depress one of the switches before the tool stops it won't continue until it has. The handle and guard are easily repositioned without tools making it really easy and fast to deal with. The braking system is really neat. Immediately after you take your hands off of one of the switches the disc comes to a stop, unlike my other grinders that keep spinning for a while. It also has anti-kickback that immediately slams on the brakes if the grinder senses any kind of kickback motion. The tool isn't too heavy either so it's easy to handle, even with a large battery on it. The One-Key component is also pretty neat. You download the app and link it to your tool. On the app you can see where the tool is or was the last time it linked up, and you can lock the tool down so no one else can use it. Altogether, I'm super impressed by this grinder would absolutely buy another.

Well Balanced and Productive Tool, it takes everything you throw at it and then some. Granted it’s a battery loving tool if you don’t ease up on the pressure you are applying upon it let the tool do its job and you will see how much further the battery life will take you! I absolutely love using this grinder for it’s well Balanced and comfortable to use with the anti vibration handle makes a big difference when using it, very versatile and powerful the adjustable guard that you can make sparks fly away from you and debris from hitting your body. Light weight less fatigue wether you’re grinding sanding cutting whatever it is this tool can take it you forget that you are not plugged into a receptacle, works that well!

For starters, greater control through dual trigger activation (2 hands required), permanent side handle, and AutoStop kickback control. I have been wanting a new cordless angle grinder for a long time. My current grinder is corded and when you stop grinding, the wheel spins for quite a while and makes it hard to put down the grinder till the disk stops spinning. The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 18V Grinder model (2986-20) is an advanced grinder tool that has safety built into it. The grinder has Milwaukee's trademarked AUTOSTOP kickback control built-in. The grinder disk will stop spinning within a few seconds when you stop grinding. The grinder can use either use 5/8" and 7/8" spindle wheels that are 4.5" or 5" in diameter. The grinder takes two hands to operate, to start the tool, grasp and hold the two side handle triggers down with one hand and hold the tool by the main handle with the other hand, then push the lock-off button forward on the main handle and squeeze down on the main handle paddle switch. The grinding wheel will start spinning. To stop the tool, release the paddle switch or side handle triggers. Make sure the tool comes to a complete stop before laying down the tool. You can choose from 4 speeds by pressing the Mode button on the tool (Mode-1 3,500, Mode-2 5,000, Mode-3 6,500 and Mode-4 8,5000) RPM. The tool in compatible with the Milwaukee ONE-KEY app for locating, securing and managing your Milwaukee tools. Awesome tool with lots of power. I used this torque wrench to install 1/2” concrete anchors for a foundation wall steel reinforcement system. This impact wrench effortlessly drove the anchors into the pilot holes in concrete.

I like this tool so far iv got a fuel super sawzall love it iv cut alot with just cut inch thick steel with it

Start using it right away at work, I have 3A battery, so, I would say, need bigger battery. Grinding really good, it's stopped when disk is stuck and stopped when I leave leaver.

Just as powerful as corded but without the cord. This is my first cordless and love it and absolutely love the quick stop feature, I don’t have to wait for it to stop spinning before I can put it down.

The absolute only downside to this product is the battery life doesn't matter what battery you're using if you're cutting through any decently thick piece of Steel you are going to kill the battery pretty quick but as long as you got a couple extra ones this is the perfect grinder to have out in the field with you absolutely love it I have just nicknamed it the battery Slayer

Love my new grinder has way more power than the dewalt 20v grinder it replaced, and seems to be easier on batteries too they don’t come off dead as hot as the dewalt used too after being worked hard, love the spark catcher cup for guard when using cut off discs.

I really like your products, good quality and performance

I put on a 5" diamond blade and cut some cement boards with it. This grinder worked great, cut through the cement boards very easily. Make sure you are wearing safety glasses and a mask, because dust and little stones are flying everywhere.
