Battery wire frayed and fried battery holder
This jacket was great until the battery wire connected to the m12 battery holder frayed causing a short inside the battery holder. Battery seems okay but no way to power my jacket anymore due to this damage. Seems like a design flaw since all my other Milwaukee tools are really durable. See pics for frayed wire and fried battery holder.

    THIS JACKET SUCKS!
I bought this Medium jacket back in November on the Home Depot website. After wearing my spouses jacket on Halloween night in 20 degree weather. That literally KEPT ME WARM ALL NIGHT! The first jacket didnt get warm at all but figured it needed to be a better "tighter" fit. So I bought another one in Small on the website. Recently, had a cold snap and wore it outside when it was 20-40 degree weather and I was freezing!!! THERE IS MORE TO THE STORY BUT THIS WILL ONLY LET ME TYPE 500 WORDS!!!!!!!!

      great quality jacket
pros: good material, water resistant, heats up quick, stay warm with pocket zipped for 30 min after turned off. inside fro t pocket get warm. good cuffs, front and back warmers.cons: battery takes a qhile to fully charge, bulky battery, slim battery pack be better option. battery life is also eh on highest setting on couple hours so far. note this is high setting front and back, with about 3 degrees with -8 due to wind chill. WISH THIS HAD A DETACHABLE HOOD!Get a size down, usually wear a medium jacket size.

Battery falls out of the pocket
There is 2 zippers on the left side for the same pocket. This is a work jacket from a tool company. I was hoping to use the hand warmers while working outdoors this winter but the battery always moves to the front of the pocket and falls out. Would be a great jacket if they were separate pockets. I've reached out to Milwaukee with no response. Wish I had the package so I could return this.

          No warranty on garment
Stitching coming apart on main zipper after limited use, purchased in January 2022. Not covered under warranty. $200 flushed down the toilet with a winter jacket that does not zip.

            Very Disappointed
Received the jacket quickly from Home Depot, I really like the way the jacket fits and wanted this to be a good purchase. Regrettably the battery won't charge beyond 1 bar, I would not recommend this jacket. Milwaukee should do a better in the quality control department.

              Doesn't get warm enough
43 degrees out, fully charged battery, jacket on high for both zones for 20 minutes, I am really cold!!! Long sleeve cotton T shirt under the coat. Changed batteries and nothing changed. Used an infrared thermometer and the warmest area was 89 degrees. Most of the elements were in the 70's degree range. You can feel the heating elements and the thermometer scan shows that parts of the elements were not producing any heat at all. The pockets were not any warmer. The good news is that a large fits me perfectly. 6'2" & 230 with long arms. Was so hoping this was going to work out because of the fit. I am sending it back. I may try another one because I have a shop full of Milwaukee tools and batteries. Maybe this one is defective, I just don't know. Disappointing!!!

Milwaukee quiet shell 224c-21xl. Realtree camo .
I’m very surprised how mixed up these reviews are ! Milwaukee makes atleast 4 versions of a heated jacket ,not to mention different colors and every few years they up date them. All these reviews in this ad and most other Milwaukee jacket ads run together with other years and models of jackets. Where’s the Milwaukee rep when you need one lol ?? I have not been out in the freezing cold yet with it ,how ever I have not needed the heat yet. it’s a warm jacket without heat.the camo is awsome!

Great looking jacket and heated, too
Milwaukee Men's Large M12 12V Lithium-Ion Cordless TOUGHSHELL Red Heated Jacket with Battery and Charger Kit is a different kind of Winter jacket. These heated jackets are useful, had one by a different company for several years. The Milwaukee jacket improved version with its own enhancements. The material is tough, a tight weave, softer made from stretch polyester material with slight padding that's practical for additional warmth and adds to the overall feel, not bulky or stiff. The jacket cut seems fuller than my other jacket, it's sized accurately, could be because of the stretch material they've used. The sleeves are longer and have Velcro closures at the wrists that's better in the cold. They've extended the heating element to hand-warmers in the pockets. The zipper on the jacket is sturdy, zips smoothly to keep out the wind. With my other heated jacket was an issue with the battery placement. These M12's batteries are smaller and added an option to carry it behind the jacket or in the left front pocket, uses a pass-thru opening for the connecting wire. It also has a zipped chest pocket for iPhone or glasses. Would've liked an inside pouch pocket to store gloves when not wearing them, maybe next time. The battery can be recharged either with any of the Milwaukee plug-in chargers for M12's (not included) or with a USB wire connection that is included with the jacket. The battery holder is also redesigned, now includes a fuel gauge that was missing on their battery holders. The battery they have included is a larger capacity one than others around. It's CP3.0 rated, most older ones are CP1.5 or double the power. They claim running at high heat it will last 3-hours, and at low 12-hours. From experience, you'll likely be using the low setting most times, unheated is fine, too at times. Heated jackets are nice because you can turn up the heat as the weather dictates. Bottom line the jacket's cozy, with or without the heat turned on. The added hand-warmer function adds to cold weather comfort, especially using it in the cold at games sitting in the bleachers. The heater switch located on the left chest position is an icon that has three warmth settings, next to it is the hand-warmer on/off switch. Jacket has no hood like my other one, but I rarely used it, except at sports games so won't miss it now. Instead there is a high collar more practical, keeps the chill away from your neck, and adds to the look. Overall, this is a top notch jacket. Milwaukee has had heated jackets out for a while now, and this one shows they know how to do.

COMFORTABLE; FOUR LEVELS OF WARMTH; INNOVATIVE JACKET AND BATTERY TECHNOLOGY; HIGH QUALITY; SIZING MAY BE AN ISSUE
The Milwaukee Men's Large M12 12V Lithium-Ion Cordless TOUGHSHELL Red Heated Jacket with (1) 3.0 Ah Battery and Charger is a high quality, pleasing-to-wear jacket with four levels of warmth to keep you comfortable when being outdoors in the winter. It uses the latest technology for heated outer wear. Most importantly, considerable thought went into the design of the jacket to make it as comfortable to wear and functional as an unheated jacket. The heating technology includes a fast warmup, longer battery life, and a multilayered insulative material to keep the heat inside the jacket. High heat will provide 3 hours of warmth, medium heat 5 hours of heat, and low heat 12 hours of heat. Even without any heat turned on, the jacket provides warmth because of its innovative construction. The LED controller is easy to use with the lights clearly indicating the warmth level. The battery may be placed in a front pocket (which I prefer) or a pass-through back pocket. The red color which is synonymous with Milwaukee Tool is an excellent choice for someone whose outdoor sports teams’ color is red. Also, I have noticed that the red color is readily observable by others as compared with many other colors. The two side pockets are large. There is also a zippered chest pocket for storing a smart phone or other important item for quick access. In addition, there is an inside zippered pocket on the other side of the jacket making a total of five deep pockets. The battery also has new technology. It may be charged with a USB cord or placed into a regular Milwaukee charger. Since I have the latter mounted on a wall in my workshop, I used that. The battery charged quickly. The battery shows the remaining charge which is helpful. Previous batteries did not. It also has a USB output port if you need to charge your cell phone or similar. The battery does not need to run down completely to be recharged. As you can see from the photos, the sleeves are rather long. The jacket does have hook and loop closures to adjust the sleeve length. Maybe a size medium though would have worked better. The jacket and materials are made in China.

I look great! Oh, well, the jacket looks great anyway, I just benefit.
There will be a hot time in the ol' Toughshell tonight, especially if you turn it on high. No wind is coming through and there is heat in the hand pockets as well as the chest and back. The Milwaukee M12 Toughshell Red jacket kit comes with USB cord, charger, and 3Ah battery with settings for 3 hours of high, 6 hours of medium, or 12 hours low heat. It zips up tight to the chin so no draft comes through the neck and it is very warm even without turning the heat on. And, yes, Milwaukee red looks great on anyone! It feels great too as TOUGHSHELL feels really strong and solid. It is a prefect companion to my Milwaukee tool bags.

Does not come with 3Ah battery
Ordered this jacket because I couldn't check one out in the store. Nice jacket, runs a bit big. The description says it comes with a 3Ah battery, mine came with a 2Ah.

Well made, quality stitched, heated Jacket.
Milwaukee heated jacket that would make a great gift for your guy to wear. It has good weight to it and found that it also has a polyester lining, so this is not a shell only jacket, besides the heating elements in it. Here are what I think you will like about this jacket too. 1) I like adjustable cuffs, so its not elastic but instead has velcro straps which I liked so I can adjust as tight or loose I like. 2) The weight of the jacket and its polyester filled too. The shell material is heavy duty, you can feel it to the touch, its not thin material, you can feel it is sturdy and thick. I like that for a jacket where I am working and can take the abuse of the work site or just outdoors activities too. 3) The heat has 3 settings. Red is High, White is Med, and Blue is low glow of the switch on the chest that you push and cycle thru the colors. Just hold down the button for at least 2 seconds and it will turn off completely. Note, there is no autoshutoff so remember to turn your jacket off when you take off the jacket. 4) It uses the M12 battery, so that is a matured battery system, and it charges up pretty good and last when in use that I find. I turn on the heat to get warm then turn off after awhile cause I don't need heat continuously. 5) It has a single zipper with a wind flap. This is good for jacket with front full length zipper cause btw the zipper teeth is where you can get cold wind leak. With this wind flap in the jacket it stops that. 6) The shoulder cut and arms of the jacket are not tight so that your arm movements are more freely. I did not find it gapping my shoulder or arm at all. Comfortable movement. 7) If you want to tighten the waist end of the jacket there are two separate adjustment elastic cord clips that you can pull as tight as you need. I just left mine as is. 8) There are two deep, heated! hand pocket. And what I like is that the battery pouch is right next to left pocket, so that if you are going to sit down to drive a car, you don't have the battery pack bumping into your back, you can just shift it to the front hand pocket easily with its pass thru feature. This is a great idea that they added this feature. 9) I looked at the stitching of this jacket and it is well sewn and I did not find any loose strands. The stitching sewn used good weight thread too. 10) there is a front chest pocket next to the heat switches, and there is an inner chest pocket too that is zippered. 11) Btw the heat switches are on the chest and there are two, one for the front of your jacket and the other switch is for your hand pockets. That is so cool cause at times when outdoors your hands get cold so you can warm them up separately. Overall I love this jacket for the quality of manufacturing and heated features that it has. I will be using it for the upcoming fall and early winter weather season.

Excellent well made heated jacket. Feels really good
I love this jacket, the material used is heavy duty, looks and feels great. It shows alot of thought about what material to use both for the shell and inside of the jacket. Well worth it. When you pick it up, it really has good weight to it. So its not just a shell. It has polyester lining too. 1) It uses the M12 battery unit that last pretty good and easy to charge. 2) Comes with the M12 battery, the compact charge and a usb cord. There is no wall plug so you just have to use your existing wall plug to plug the usb cord into inorder to charge your battery. 3) I like the heavy duty velcro adjustable cuff, so I know it will not wear out and last longer. 4) It has wind stopper flap behind the zipper so that air doesn't flow past the teeth of the zipper which I like. 5) It has a single zipper, decent quality, but I really prefer if they had it as a double zipper. Still great jacket. 6) The heating is cool, you have it for front chest area, that is on one heat switch, and there is a separate heat switch that heats up the jacket hand pockets. I like that very much. the back is not heated but it is polyester filled so its not just a shell, so that will keep you warm too with the heat on. I like that. 7) There is a front zippered chest pocket and on the opposite inside is a inner pocket too. See pic. I like that feature also. 8) The shoulder cut is okay. I prefer raglan but this has ample cut so that there is no resistance for shoulder/arm movement. I found moving well with no gapping up or tightness when moving my arms. 9) Another nice feature is the battery pouch, it has a pass thru so that you can move the battery to the front pocket pouch, especially great when you drive in your car, so that the battery is not uncomfortable at the side off your back when sitting in your car driving. I like this added feature and works well. Overall this is a great jacket for the fall toward winter weather.

                    New Experience
I have to admit, this is the first time I’ve had to read the manual that came with my new coat. It’s a really nice coat. The Real Tree Camouflage pattern is top notch. The coat fits me well and is warm even without the carbon fiber heating elements up and running. The arms are adjustable around the wrist so any extra length is manageable. The coat is comfortable with or without the battery tucked in the pocket. The heating elements connects to a port on the charger so the battery resides in the charger at just about all times. It’s a bit like having a roll of quarters in your pocket. You have a bit of a choice where to locate the battery. I’ve not decided which location I prefer. The power button is unobtrusive and located just inside the left side of the coat chest high. There are three power settings. Charging is easy enough, I used my wall outlet’s USB port as a source. The charger and a USB A to Micro cable are included with the M12 REDLITHIUM Battery. There’s a red/green charge indicator light on the charger and a fuel gauge. Surprisingly, the coat can be machine washed and dried, but you got to follow the directions on the care tag and as explained in the manual. The procedure is not overly complicated. Runtime for the battery is a long 12 hours but I don’t see me getting cold when the power has finally drained. This coat is definitely warm. The QUIETSHELL really provides for quiet movement. Maybe I am finally going to get that turkey.

                    These are the best
Milwaukee heated jackets are still the best out there in my opinion and I’ve tried several other brands. My observations: • The camo looks authentic and fits in perfect in any wooded area during Spring, Summer, or Fall. • The jacket advertises that it’s quiet. Happy to report it’s quiet. It is 100% silent? No, however it’s as quiet as a jacket can be. • I like that the lighted heat controls are on the inside of the jacket. That really helps with the camo effect. • The slide-through pocket is helpful. I never had issues with the other Milwaukee jackets without the slide-through however it does make it easier when driving your vehicle to move the battery to a more comfortable location. • I really like that this jacket comes with the 3.0 Ah M12 battery. That will provide several more hours of heat. • The included power source is a nice touch. You can charge your phone, etc. with it if you are in needed. • The heat is intense. When I use this on high, I will feel the heat in about 40 seconds. I typically feel it on my back first and about 10 seconds later my chest and pockets. Running this on HIGH provides more than enough heat. I typically can only handle about 5 minutes of that heat before I adjust it down to MEDIUM and then finally LOW. For me LOW will maintain a nice core body temp for all day working, hunting, etc. • I wear Large coats and this Large coat is a perfect fit. I have long arms and this coat is still perfect for me at a Large size. • Plenty of pockets and all of them zip up to protect any items you are carrying. • Even without the battery this coat is awesome to wear on any cold day. There is plenty of built-in insulation to keep you warm. The battery plays a factor when dealing with some seriously low temps. • The zippers work flawlessly. No catching. They also stay zipped up and don’t slide down on their own. • This kit comes with the Jacket, 3.0Ah battery, USB cord, and Power source. This jacket is a home run. I firmly recommend it.

                    Warm! Quality! Milwaukee!
For me, Milwaukee is the leader when it comes to outerwear that is heated by a power source. I enjoy that Milwaukee built this jacket for a big guy like myself. I chose the 3X because my chest size is tough to find good-fitting jackets. This one fits nice and is comfortable. I like that it's very easy to use. You plug in the batter in the back pocket and your set. You choose your temperature setting which can be set to High, Medium or Low. The 3 warming zones, Front, Back, Arms are perfect for a good even warmth. I've used this jacket a few times and I really enjoy it. A little bonus added with the jacket is that the power bank comes with a USB chord and can be used to power up your cell phone as well. Nice touch! I would recommend it easily to anyone that spends as much time outside as I do. Nice Job Milwaukee!

                    Wow! What a jacket!
Milwaukee’s Toughshell jacket is warm all by itself. Add the heating features with its 12v Lithium-ion cordless battery pack, and you will be toasty in most any situation. I got this jacket in large navy for my husband. He is amazed at the design and function of the jacket. The battery can fit in either the front left pocket or back with a pass-thru opening. The heat function is easy to adjust on the chest. Settings include heat in the pockets, jacket, or both as well as settings of high, medium, and low. It’s a heavy weighted jacket, but comfortable and fits nicely on his 190 pound frame. Highly recommend.

                    Great jacket
This jacket is better than I anticipated. First it has a very clean look, it doesn’t look like a work jacket and can be worn just about everywhere. The fit is very true to size. With the battery installed the coat weighs 4 pounds. The battery is about the same size as my fist and sits in the left hip pocket. The battery pocket is open to the hand pocket for easy access to the battery while the coat is being worn. The jacket has easy to use controls on the upper left chest, one for the coat and one for the pockets. Each warming zone has three heat settings, high, medium and low, the indicator changes color with the heat level chosen. The battery with a full charge will last approximately 6 hours on low, 4 hours on medium and 2 on high. If you are someone who will use work long hours outdoors in the cold, you will need more than one battery.

                    Warm and Tough!
I had been walking around for the last eight years with an old jacket because it was semi warm if I wore a heavy sweater or two underneath it but it was bulky and cumbersome. I really welcomed this jacket when I received it. With a quick and easy charge, you are good to go to face the most severe winter weather without worrying about not being able to move from the sheer amount of bulk space taken up by the lumped up sweaters underneath. I get many compliments on it everywhere I go people are surprised when I told them I got this at the Home Depot. Its really a blessing in a cold cold winter storm or just for everyday in the cold weather months. Durable too. I can see this being a lifetime investment because the quality of the material is so thick and substantial.

Cant't wait for temps to drop - well designed heated jacket
Ok, I was not convinced at all at such an idea, but I became convinced quickly! On a cold morning up here last week, this jacket performed well! Especially the heated pockets are a great feature when working outside where gloves are not useable. The two zone controls allow you to turn on or off the pockets and front/back of the jacket. In cold weather you will need the 'high' setting to feel the effect, but as it is a standard 12V Milwaukee battery, it is easy to 're-charge'. We also liked the different zippered pockets and the way it is cut: allowing plenty of room, not constraining you on the job. Cold weather is one environment this jacket shines, but if you like heated seats in your car - you'll also like this! We will try to contact Milwaukee and see if lower profile and higher capacity battery packs are compatible with this jacket.

                    Great Heated Jacket.
My review of the Milwaukee heated jacket. First off this jacket is nice weather it is heated or not. Quality built. I live the zippers. Being that I have no Milwaukee cordless tools I was glad to see that this came with a battery pack and charger. The battery pack also has USB output so you could power your phone or something similar. The sizing I find slightly bigger than what I expected but not so big that I would return. The heating system warms up quickly , I cannot speak to the longevity of charge as I have not been able to wear it as it is not that cold yet My only gripe would be I would have thought that they could come up with a better way to contain the battery. Rather than it been loose in the left side pocket.

                    Heats different zones!
A warm jacket, even before you turn it on. Deer season is right around the corner, the frost is on the trees, and it gets pretty cold in a tree stand. I needed a warmer jacket to go hunting, and the Quietshell Camo jacket is pretty warm on its own. But with the M-12 jacket with three heat areas, there’s really little more you could ask fore. You can select from chest, back, and front pockets. It comes with its own charger, which can be used at the house or a mini USB connection that can be connected to an auto outlet with the proper converter piece. It zips closed and safe in its own pocket and has three different power levels. I tried it outdoors and started on the medium setting, which warmed up very quickly. After that, I set it on low and was comfortable for hours. This will be great during hunting season - better get yours before they are gone!

                    Outstanding jacket!
As with all my experiences with quality Milwaukee products, I was not disappointed with this jacket. I got a large, which I normally am. It does fit rather well, I'd suggest going up a size from what you normally wear, for the comfort factor. It is awesome by itself and offers great comfort. If you are in a really cold environment, it has three heat settings that are really great. Battery can be stored in the front or back You can expect to get up to 12 hours per charge. Also is great that it is washer and dryer safe. Don't forget to remove the battery and holder. Top Notch!

                    Great jacket from Milwaukee
I got this advance heat jacket by Milwaukee for my husband, he is always running cold, the jacket comes with a little charger that is a USB, you hook the charger up to the cord inside the jacket and then press a button on the jacket to adjust the levels. It has a ton of pockets, my husband said it heats up immediately and he loves wearing it at work and he feels very mobile in it and is able to freely move his arms. It’s perfect as we head into fall. The battery depends on what level your on, if you leave it on low it lasts for up to 12 hours.

                    Can't wait for winter
This jacket is awesome. The soft shell is comfortable yet warm and light weight. This jacket is very well made , repels water and very stylish. I actually am looking forward to the cold north eastern US weather now. This jacket is warm even without the heating turned on, so it's going to be excellent for outdoor sporting events. I am 5'9 170lbs. The large is slightly bigger than what I would typically wear. If I had to do it over again I would get a medium but that's on me, not the product itself. The battery is easily stored in a rear pocket and charges via USB. Because of the USB included charger there is no reason to never not have enough battery, you can charge it in your car! The pockets heat up as well as the pockets and has 3 hear settings. On low it can last up to 12 hours! Can not wait.

                    Great for winter
I already had one of these for 3 years now in bright red, really beat it up working outside in the fall and winter with it. Came across the blue one and was ready for a change. The old one was made well and this one is no different. Even without the heat it's a warm heavy jacket. And with the push of a button you can really crank that up. You have three heating options (hi,med,lo). And you can also just do the pockets or the entire jacket. It has plenty of pockets and adjustments available to make it fit just right. Added bonus - the battery pack can be used to charge your phone.

                    Milwaukee heated jacket
This is a great heated jacket, broke my back in a car wreck in 84 and cold wet weather really bother me. Looking forward for some cold weather to really give a good workout, came with a 3.0ah battery and charger with a heavy duty charging cord. The cord to plug in battery is in left side pocket and has a additional pocket next to it, you can either keep battery in back or left side pocket. The on/off is the Milwaukee emblem on upper left chest area, you hold for 2 seconds to either turn on or off and two hand symbols to set warmth at high, medium, or low. Of course the higher the heat setting less battery times, high is about 3 hours, medium about 6 hrs, and low at least 12 hrs. Got a Large and a bit snug around the midriff area, plenty long sleeve for me at 5’11” 225lbs so would go up one size next time. And will be warm enough on cool days without using battery power which is a nice option, the outer material is great and has great flexibility when working all day. I would 100% recommend this Milwaukee men’s M12 12v heated jacket to anyone working out in the cold weather, great design and is even washable.

                    Really Nice Work Jacket
Nice heated jacket, control is easy access and shows which of 3 setting its on by color display. you toggle which of the three heating areas, pocket, back and front by pressing the on off button. To turn off you press and hold it for 1-2 seconds. It is a heavy jacket 3.5lbs without the battery pack and 4lbs with. It heats up very quickly. it is roomy and allows for easy movement, with a long waist bottom. I wear a 44 and ordered the 2x which is a 46-48 and probably could have got by with the XL which is 44-46 but I like a loose jacket. I said that to say I think the sizing chart is pretty accurate. The battery pack can fit in front or back side. Has a draw string inside around the bottom to tighten it up if needed.
