Broke in the first hole did not even last a second

Works well for maybe a dozen holes through sheet metal. Then binds up and snaps off. If the flutes weren’t so open leaving ticket material in the center it would add strength and longevity to it.

Broke the 1st time it was used.

This is the second time I've needed to retap an old thread. I had such success before that I knew the exact product that would work for my needs. If I ever need a different thread size I'll still buy another one of these. They're perfect to use and one driver will do both drill and tap all at once.

Huge timesaver. 30 seconds to drill and tap vs 3 minutes with separate tools.

I was skeptical, but the drill and tap bit worked very well. I was using brass so it should have performed well.

Bought 2 of these at around $15 bucks. Lost $15 bucks in 5 minutes. This Milwaukee drill tap bit is totally JUNK!!! Should have return for refund. Went back to Dewalt. Bought 2 sets of tap bit with the drill bit for $15 bucks. Finished with 1 set and returned 1 set for a refund. The 1 set I did use still looks brand new after tapping 24 holes.

This drill tap bit is really good, will buy it again..

Excellent tool worked above my expectations

Really speeds up the job

I used this to tap 3 holes on a Jeep hinge for attaching a passenger's side mirror. I did drill a small pilot hole to center the tap. I used a DeWalt driver and this worked great! In fact better than I had hoped. Definitely a new addition to my tool chest.
