Five screws.
THIS SNAPPED AFTER FIVE SCREWS. The tip snapped right off. I’m using a basic 20V Max XR.. nothing that powerful. This is a GARBAGE bit and sadly, these days, a garbage brand.

Rusting after being in sealed work van for 1 night
80 dollars worth of insert bits were in my work van for 1 night and the next morning there were rust spots all over every new bit . Older bits and dewalt bits don’t have any rust at all .. what’s going on with these new insert bits ? Anyone else having these issues ?

      Indispensable bit for hurricane shutters
PH3 bits are an absolute necessity for my hurricane shutters. These Milwaukee PH3 bits were just as important as the charged battery and the hammer drill. They were absolutely sold out at the nearest Home Depot. Thank goodness I had these.

Will not hold the torque of driving long screws. I was driving 3 1/2 inch long screws with these Milwaukee square bit drivers. They Kept stripping out driving screws into softwood at that.

        Amazing Screwdriver Bits
These screw drivers are amazing. They come in packs of two. They are sturdy and fit the screw heads securely for easy drilling. They fit many types of screws, so it makes the job quick and easy. They are steel and made with unique heads so getting the job done quick requires very little effort. I didn’t imagine that this tool would do the job so easily. It is well made.

        Strong, long lasting bits
I’ve used many different brands of driver bits in my impact driver and most seem to last about the same before rounding out and no longer gripping screws well. These Milwaukee bits are the second set of these and I am definitely going to get more in all the sizes I typically use. These bits fit the screws tightly and typically last about two times longer then other brands I’ve used. The 2” length is perfect for most applications but longer bits are also available. Overall I’m very happy with these and will continue to pick more up as needed.

Phillips drivers are a good choice with fasteners. Since the invention of this type of bit, you have more control in regards to pressure of force on the actual fastener. The actual length of these drivers, I find works well with most jobs at hand. For extra reach, I always keep an extender at hand. The coating on the bit itself, keeps rust and corrosion at bay for a long time. I find that if you pay attention when inserting the bit into the driver head, making sure that it bottoms out, creating reduced wear on the tip, therefore prolonging it's useful life.

I’ve used many brands of drill/driver bits over the past few years snd while some have been better then others, none really stood out as being really durable. The tips all tend to wear out pretty quickly snd start stripping screws. I decided to give these Milwaukee bits a try. I really like the extra length of the 3.5” vs the traditional 2” bits that most kits come with. This allows better reach especially in tighter areas. These bits inserted and withdrew from my driver easily without snd binding. I found them to engage the screws nicely and without slipping. While I have only used these a few weeks, I have not seen any noticeable wear and I’m confident these are going to last longer then other brands I’ve used in the past.

The Shockwave impact duty 3 1/2 square drive driver bit is a nice additiion to my power tools. I have a kreg pocket screw jig that I use constantly and this driver works perfectly with the special pocket hole screws. I have used these in both my drill/driver and in my ryobi cordless impact tool and it fits the bill perfectly, I feel like I am more in control of the torque I apply to the screws.

These are great bits. I really like the length and the durability of them. I've got a dewalt impact driver that I use but I like the Milwaukee bits better than the dewalts so this is what I get. One thing to note. In the package or out of the impact the length is 3.5 inches. But once you put it in the impact driver half of an inch goes into the driver. So if you are trying to reach something in a deep hole deeper than 3 inches it wont reach. Thats my only complaint other than that they're amazing bits.

The Milwaukee Shock Wave 3-1/2 in. Square #2 Screwdriver Bit came with two bits in the package. The bits have the size marked on the tail end which is handy. The bits are very sturdy, fit into the screws very firmly, and are very reasonably priced. I've used the bits for awhile with no signs of wear from usage. I prefer the 3 1/2 inch length but Milwaukee has shorter bits if you need a shorter bit.

I'm very happy with this pair of bits. They are created true to size and will fit perfectly in a #3 size phillips screw. Its quite handy having some of these bits around; they aren't bulky like bit holders and can fit easily into all kinds of places. The tip is very durable too; it hasn't worn down at all since I got it. I'm not impressed with its ability to hold screws magnetically, but it doesn't advertise that it can, so I can't hold that against it. This is a good pair of bits to have.

This is a great pair of bits. True to their size, they fit in #3 screw heads very snug. I really like how long the bit is. I can reach into all kinds of places that I couldn't before. Extension bit holders have wide bit receiving ends which inhibits the ability to reach narrower holes; this bit doesn't have that problem. The bit is also magnetized. Some bits like this advertise they can, but little can actually hold a screw; this one does a good job of it.

The concept of having the bit shaft absorb excess energy is a good one. I have had fasteners broken by impact drivers and also had fastener heads stripped by impact drivers and metal bits. These are a good length that will fit many uses. Milwaukee advertises these as having wear resistant tips and custom designed shafts to manage the energy created by impact drivers. They also say these will last 50x longer than standard bits. I'm looking forward to that!

These bits have some nice features built into them. First of all there's the "Wear Guard Tip" that extends the life of the driver blades. The "Wear Guard" treated tip should last fifty times longer than a untreated tip. And then there's the "Shockwave" shank that's designed to mitigate instantaneous over-torque. Instantaneous bit shocks on a normal bit causes premature rounding or shearing of of the bit blades. Will it be the last bit I'll ever have to buy? Maybe not but they have the built-in technology to last a very long time.

I ordered the 2-pack of Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE 2 in. Philips #2 Impact Duty Alloy Steel Screwdriver Bit to replace the bits I have been using that had a tendency to wear out after a short time. I have used one for several jobs and the tip looks brand new indicating that the durability will be superior to my old bits. The fit into the screws has been excellent. The chuck fits easily into my conventional drills as well as my impact drill. These are now my go-to bits so the red shafts are handy, making them easy to find in my tool box.

Hi all, I bought these bits because I own an old motorhome that is riddled with these square head screws. When I must tar the top or repair a siding I must unscrew literally hundreds of these little screws. I used to have a manual screwdriver & man, would that take forever. I also own a Milwaukee screw gun that these bits fit into perfectly. Now it doesn't take anytime to pull paneling. I suggest you get these bits if you are in a similar situation. They really take a lot of work off your back.

Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE 2 in. Philips #3 Impact Duty Alloy Steel Screwdriver Bit (2-Pack) The bit is 2” overall in length. It is a blunt nosed #3 Philips size. The blunt nose has a shape of a square near the center and cross wings that fit the Philips screw head pattern. The square shape increases the grip and the wings allows you to be off vertical by a little when starting the screw into the surface. The best orientation is directly parallel with the screw. I had #12, #14, and deck screws that this bit fit perfectly. Played with about 40 cycles of screwing in the screws and then removing the screw. No problems. There are features of the Bit: 1). the specially designed covering on the tip that helps prevent the tip from deforming from the perfect fit. 2). The red center section that will twist (slightly) if the screw jams in the wood while in a drill motor. Without the twisting, the screw could break off. 3). The heavy metal base that inserts into the drill or wrench is also designed not to break under the force applied for screwing. You can use a wrench with this bit, but you must apply significant pressure to keep the bit tip in the screw. Too little insertion pressure will allow the bit to round the screw head pattern. The 2” length is nice when you are in areas that have restricted clearance. Short bit plus the length of the drill body can limit you between studs or between obstacles. I have some towel racks and toilet paper holders that have covers that are like a 3” deep cup. You put the screw into the cup and it goes out the bottom and into the wood. The bit that was 3.5” long was a necessity for my Delta Shower bar. This series of bit comes in a variety of shapes and lengths. Nice tools.

As an avid woodworker and DIY guy I have tried a lot of different screwdriver bits over the years, hands down these Milwaukee Shockwaves are some of the longest lasting toughest bits I've been able to find. For most projects I find the longer 2in length is more useful than the shorter bits and better than dealing with the magnetic bit holder that constantly results in bits coming out when they got too much bite in the screw.

It is nice to have the option of buying just 2 bits for a specific project or if you want to try a new line of products and not having to buy a complete pre-made set with many different tips. I like the Shockwave precision Phillips Head edges on this bit. It seats nicely into the screwhead without any wiggle. The bits are clearly labeled at the end of the bit shaft, making it easy to pick the right bit when it is mixed in with other sizes. When working with recessed surfaces or countersinking a screw, I prefer the 2-inch bits when compared to the 1-inch bits, they give me clearance from the Chuck Body and Jaws. The 2-inch bit sticks out 1.375 inches from the chuck jaws. (See image Below) I used a tool magnetizer to make my bits magnetic for holding screws. I find this is a better solution when compared to using a magnetic bit tip holder. When you purchase Milwaukee products you have an expectation that the products will be well made and work as expected. These bits worked extremely well.

This pair of SQ#2 driver bits by Milwaukee were built to last. You don’t realize how cheap some of the other bits are until you use these, seriously. The shock zone absorbs torque and prevents breaking or twisting, laser hardened tip provides increased longevity and my fav, laser etched bit size for easy identification. So easy to find when labels are clear. Also I do enjoy that the bit is magnetic.

Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE 3-1/2 in. Square #2 Impact Duty Alloy Steel Screwdriver Bit (2-Pack) I love these Milwaukee square bits they work great and hold up. I have never had one break or round the edges. I use them weekly on my pocket hole projects. I have used other brands of this type of bit but they just don’t last. I would recommend these to anyone needing a square bit. They work great in my impact driver and are quick and easy to change.

The Milwaukee 2 inch #2 Phillips screw driver bit is a good tool. It fits the 1/4” drive impact drive. I use it with two different brand drivers and had no problem with it staying in the chuck. Also, the tip is well cut and will hold a screw horizontal even though the tip is not magnetized. I noticed some wear on the tip after a few screws, but it is normal for bits in general. I am still happy with this product and will continue to buy them.

I install a lot of tapcons in concrete and have had a problem with conventional bit. These bits are long enough to chuck directly into my drill. I particularly like the way the bit fits in the screws. When inserted in the screws, there is no play so you know you are getting the benefit of all the torque the drill is putting out. This makes it easy to countersink the screws in the wood. An added plus is the fact that the tip lasts much longer than ordinary bits. I have used it to set al least 50 screws and it seems as good as when I first opened the pack

I love the Milwaukee Brand of tools and haven’t been disappointed yet. This is no exception. These impact drill bits are alloy steel and Phillips #2 which means it’s for larger screws. (PH2 means Phillips Head and 2 is for the larger size screws as opposed to PH1 and other sizes are available too.) Being 2 inches long, the fit from the drill to screw head is comfortable. The screw heads didn’t skip or strip and I felt that the drill bit was doing the work instead of my drill. It has a hex shank style and the tip is heat treated (Wear Guard Tip) to enhance longevity of the bit. The Shockwave Impact Duty allows for absorbing peak toro and prevent breaking. The double pack allows me to have a spare in case one gets temporarily lost. A wonderful addition to my tool box and is reasonably priced. Made in China and has a 5 Year Limited Warranty.

When I'm working on old cars, or trying to fix old furniture I run into square socket head screws. In the past, I've struggled with a screwdriver handle that had a square head, but older screws can really be stuck, so I tried these bits. What a difference the added leverage makes when I use this bit with my 1/4" drive ratchet and 1/4" socket. It also speeds up reassembly when I use it with my cordless drill.
