The Milwaukee Heated Gloves are the nicest heated gloves you could really want. My husband and I both tried these on. Based on our two sizes of hands we would say the large size is very accurate. They could not be easier to use. The power button located on each glove is large and in a good location. It does not take much effort to press; it is very responsive and there are both a click and a light to let you know they have been pressed. Pressing the power button turns the gloves on or off in about one second. When you press through the three temperatures the response is instantaneous. You could definitely tell the difference between the temperatures. The heat is focused on the tips of the fingers; exactly where you need it. They are extremely light and comfortable. They have a good amount of grip and flexibility and are very well constructed. There are some limitations as they are insulated and a little thick, but we had no problem picking up anything from small keys to water cups. My husband is a contractor and said he will be able to use these on the job site quiet a bit. As for the SmartSwipe technology it did work; although it was not easy to get use to and in my husband's case the actual SmartSwipe tip ended up not being the best way to press or swipe. You will see in the video he has an iPhone in a LifeProof case and it took a bit to find the spot on the finger that worked for his screen. He never really got the center on/off button to work right. On my Galaxy, which has a basic screen protector, it worked just fine. However again the center clear screen button on it was a little harder to push. For it's first charge right out of the box it took about an hour and a half to reach a full charge. We did not wear down the battery during testing because it is quiet warm out right now and there is no need to waste it, but our bet is the charge will last several hours. All in all these are wonderful heated gloves that we expect to last a long long time. My husband gave an enthusiastic "I would recommend these to anybody."

The Milwaukee Heated Gloves are a big investment, but one that is well worth it. They warm up quickly and provide heat to the back of the hands as well as your fingers. After a little bit of time your entire hand and wrist are warm and toasty. The extended cuffs have two great features that help set them apart from the rest. First there are large loops at the top of the gloves, which will provide some help when you are putting on the gloves. Second, there are Velcro straps that you can use to tighten the gloves and add an additional layer of protection from the elements. There are three heat settings that are identified by the color of the on/off button. Low is white, medium is blue and high is red. The battery packs are thin and lightweight and are stored in vippered pouches on the back of the gloves. They don’t impede your articulation of your hands and wrists. Finally, the index fingers are made to work with smart devices. The only down side would be that using smaller hand tools would be difficult due to how well insulated they are. Aside from that these gloves are ideal for just about any outdoor activities, from fall yard work to sitting watching a football game.

The heat measured about 100 degrees +/- inside the glove when I measured it with a temp gun. The gloves are comfortable but they're bulky. The batteries fit into the glove and you cannot feel them when you are wearing the gloves. The on/off button lights up red when in use. I've only tested the gloves a handful of times and the batteries are still working so I'm not sure how long they will last before dying. But so far, I'd say they'd last several hours. The Large size fits my hands snug and I have thin hands. I'd recommend choosing the same size glove as you normally would unless you prefer your gloves a little looser, then go up a size.

USB rechargeable heated gloves are the perfect gloves for me, whether I am hunting or watching a football game in the fall months. They have three heat settings high is red, medium is white and low is blue, all with the touch of a button. The heat zones are in the hand and fingers. The back of the gloves is heavy duty polyester with the palms being leather. There is a easy on pull tab, the lining is fleece. The cuffs are long to keep out the cold air, snow. Comes with a battery for each glove and controller, heavy duty cord and wall plug, the battery lasts about 6 hours. These gloves are perfect for people who have Raynaulds disease, my fingers are very sensitive to cold and with these gloves I am able to enjoy all outside activities when it is cold outside. These gloves are very comfortable, can move my fingers with ease and able to hold a beverage in my hand, can operate my phone with gloves on with the smartphone touch screen index fingertip.. I highly recommend these gloves!!

I've had these for about two weeks now and although it hasn't been cold enough to get the full effect of these gloves, I can tell they are much warmer than the insulated gloves that I normally use while plowing snow in these cold Ohio winters. These seem pretty durable and are made with a Cordura type material that you find in work jackets. They aren't your normal gloves in the sense that they go further up your arms than standard gloves do. The battery is located on the top side of the glove which makes wearing a watch or anything on your wrists a bit uncomfortable. That would be the only complaint that I have about these gloves. Before i tried them, I plugged them in overnight although they had a partial charge right out of the box. I would recommend using the sizing guide on Home Depot's website before you order them. I thought the XL would be the size that I needed but the large fit fine. They have a pull strap on the underside of the gloves which made it easier to pull them on, especially after putting on one of the gloves and trying to put on the other. This gloves are by no means thin, so don't expect to pick up smaller tools or the like with these without some struggle. That isn't really a big deal for me as I plan to use them for shoveling snow, plowing, etc. They come with two batteries and a USB cord to recharge them. Although i would have liked to have had an actual charger, particularly at this price, it wasn't a big deal as I have plenty of them lying around the house. I also like that I can charge them using the USB ports in my truck. They advertise the SmartSwipe technology that will allow you to use your smartphone with them, but I didn't have much success with that. It took some practice and I still wasn't really able to use my iPhone with them, but in the end that wasn't a big deal to me. All in all, these are a great pair of gloves and i highly recommend them

This is a review of the Milwaukee Red Lithium battery heated gloves. These are really neat gloves. They’re heavy duty and warm before you even turn the batteries on. I tried gapping a sparkplug while wearing the gloves, and it’s obvious that these gloves are not made for detailed work – more for handling a shovel or hammer or running equipment such as a snowblower. Using a drill or circular saw isn’t a problem. Digging a nail out of a pouch wasn’t difficult, and setting the nail was a breeze. The gloves come with a USB charger (split connections so that both batteries can be charged at one time), and a battery for each glove (see photos below). There’s a small zippered compartment on the back of each glove that holds a connecting wire and the battery. A button switch on each glove (see photos) has four positions, Off, Low, Medium, and High. The heat settings show different colors as the temperature goes up, white, blue, and red. White is barely warm, while blue seems to me (YMMV) the setting I’ll use most while clearing snow and red is quite warm indeed. There’s a size chart on the side of the box (see photo) and it’s pretty accurate for determining which size gloves you’ll need. Fit and finish is excellent, no loose threads, etc. There is a pull tab on each glove for donning the gloves over a jacket and they come up (on me, anyway) well up my forearm. The gloves have a leather palm – and are not washable. The index finger has a spot that allows you to answer a phone call by swiping the screen. The heating elements run across the back of the gloves, keeping the embedded wires away from the work. They come with the Home Depot 90-day return policy. HTH Regards, Jim

This is the Milwaukee Heated Gloves in size Medium (number 561-21-M). Photo 1 shows you what you get in the box (gloves, battery holders, batteries, USB charger, and dual USB charging cable (allows you to charge both gloves at the same time off of one charger). Assembly is a no-brainer—just insert the batteries into the holders (contacts facing down—and line up the arrows), plug in the charger and attached the USB cord. The LED will glow red as the batteries charge (see Photo 2). Buying the correct size gloves is probably the most important thing about these—the side of the box (see Photo 3) lets you measure your hand against a ruler for determining your size. I measured exactly 7 1/2" (Medium). The gloves fit me perfectly. The palms are leather and the back of the gloves feels some kind of tough rip-stop material. The index fingers feature “smartswipe” so you can use the gloves with your smart phone. Out of the box, the batteries took about one hour to reach an 80% charge (flashing green LED). It took another 50 minutes to reach 100% charged (wow—I would of thought the last 20% would be quicker than this. Maybe it took this long because they come from the factory with little or no charge at all). The next step is to open the battery pockets and pull out the connecting cord (see Photo 4) and connect the batteries. To turn the gloves on, press the on/off button (it says “Redlithium USB” on it) on each glove for a couple of seconds. The switch will turn red. You can cycle through High (red), Medium (white), and Low (blue) temperatures by briefly touching the switch. To turn off the gloves, hold the switch for a couple of seconds. Once the batteries were fully charged, I installed them in the gloves and turned them on. It took about 30 seconds to begin feeling the heat, and on High, within a couple of minutes my hand was very warm. The heating elements are on the back of the hand and fingers. Unfortunately, it’s September right now and it’s not cold enough to really test the gloves. However, from the amount of heat I’m getting, my guess is that these gloves will keep my hands very comfortable throughout the cold weather. The gloves have a 1-year warranty.

Review for Large Heated Gloves with Battery and Charger I've been waiting for Milwaukee tools to release a pair of heated gloves for a while, and I'm super happy they finally did! I spend a lot of time outside so these awesome gloves will see plenty of use! They offer 3 different settings low, medium and hot. I just used them today in about 60-degree weather with clouds and rain showers and they kept my hands nice and warm. They are great for people with arthritis (Which I have). PROS *Very well made! *They keep my hands nice and warm *Real leather *The pointer fingers work on touch screens *Rip resistant *The battery lasts up to 6 hours. I found that it lasts for about 3 hours on high heat 5 out of 5 stars I highly recommend this product!

These are extremely high quality gloves. They are very thick and well made, and they heat up quickly. They have a built-in loop to help pull them on & velcro at the base to make sure they fit snuggly. They have three levels of heating and the battery fits on the back of the glove (top of your forearm) in a relatively unobtrusive spot. The gloves are pretty stiff to begin with, not just because of the material being new but also how thick the gloves are. They're perfect for riding a motorcycle, attending cold-weather sporting events or holding basic tools like a sledgehammer or axe. They don't really allow enough dexterity to be able to use most electric tools though. They may eventually break in a little, but the material is so thick I don't ever think they'll be suitable for use with some tools. They're definitely warm and they provide your hands a good deal of protection, so from my perspective, which is mainly wearing them to outdoor sporting events and to do yardwork in the late fall and winter, these are pretty perfect.

The perfect gloves to go with Milwaukee's battery-powered heated jacket! Stay toasty this winter ...
The perfect gloves to go with Milwaukee's battery-powered heated jacket! Stay toasty this winter Chicago! I requested these gloves because obviously I had to have warm gloves to go with the Milwaukee battery-powered heated jacket that I'll be receiving soon. After all, I'm a skinny guy and I need more than just a thick coat to keep me warm in the brutal 20-30 below Chicagoland winters we've been getting the past few years. For the most part, I really like these gloves and they will serve their intended purpose of keeping my hands warm while snow throwing for hours in future snow falls over 12". However, I felt the description of this being a USB battery-powered heated glove set was a little misleading. I initially thought that I might be able to repurpose the batteries for charging my cell phone during the warmer weather. This would have made this product a 5 star winner. Alas though, these batteries will only recharge via USB. The other area I wasn't thrilled about, but didn't subtract a star for was with the care label inside the glove. I've always hated when clothing had big labels that are more prone to either flipping outside the clothing or to crinkling up like burnt plastic. If Milwaukee is serious about this clothing concept, they absolutely must print the care label into the fabric. The reason for the lost star is due to the touch-sensitive pad on the glove rests on the top of the finger (back side of the hand) which is the most awkward way you could possibly use a touch screen, even if you weren't wearing bulky winter/work gloves. Next version of the glove I'd recommend they place it on the bottom of the right ring finger.

Fantastic, warm, high quality gloves... and they are even heated! Seriously, everything about these gloves are high quality. The nylon shell material is very durable and the zippers that hold the battery are thermal sealed for water resistance. The glove palms are a soft leather for full flexibility. They are warm even without using the heating element, but when you turn them on, you know it. I wear a size large and I am 5' 10" tall. The gloves come midway up my forearm. The batteries are high quality red lithium that last about 6 hours on low and the low setting is plenty warm in sub zero temps if you're moving. If you use them for hunting in a tree stand then you can use them at a higher setting periodically or get more batteries. The also charge by USB so you can plug them into your car's USB port to charge. They are also a smaller profile so they're not bulky, heavy, or cumbersome to have on your arm. You won't be disappointed with these gloves.

These will make an excellent addition to your winter gear collection. The heat output is impressive, the removable batteries make it easy to keep them running all day, and I doubt I'll be wearing any holes in these any time soon. Performance - There are three heat settings: high, medium, and low. I can tell that the low setting is on, but not much more. Medium is likely the setting I'll use the most and puts out plenty of heat. High will probably only see use if I have to work barehanded for precision work but want to warm my hands quickly. The insulation is so good on these gloves that I can only feel heat from the outside when they're on high. All of the settings heat up very quickly, which is nice so I can only turn them on as needed. Each finger has its own heating element, as well as the hand. This placement is exactly what I want; it's always my fingers that get cold and start hurting first. Battery life - These take the 4V USB rechargeable batteries used in several of Milwaukee's recent lighting products. On high, I got about 2 hours out of them, and 3.5 hours on medium. I'm honestly a bit disappointed by this, but being able to charge the batteries from my truck or M12/18 power sources makes up for it a bit. The Y cable that they include with the charger is fantastic for charging both of the batteries at once. If it wasn't included, I'm sure I would put one battery on the charger when I got home, but forget to change them later. Construction - The gloves are made of the same material as the two part heated jacket Milwaukee makes, which has proven to be waterproof. The cuffs are nearly as long again as the palm and fingers, so you can easily tuck in your sleeve and pull the velcro straps tight to keep snow out. There are large loops on the insides of the cuffs to make it a cinch to pull on the gloves. I also love the tip of the index finger. I've had gloves before that claim to have a special finger tip that will work with touch screens, but they never did. These, however, do. Due to the thickness of the gloves, I doubt I can type up a text message, but I can certainly answer a call. The zippers on the battery pockets have small teeth and a rubber flap that closes over it to keep out water and snow. The heating elements are on the backs of the fingers and palm to protect them from damage as you hammer, drill, shovel, or whatever else.

Milwaukee Heated Gloves. Contains gloves, power cord, 2 chargers & 2 batteries. Colored light indicated battery power level when recharging. Colored LED indication of glove heat level (3 levels). Batteries fit into zippered pouch on wrist end of glove. Wrist end can be loosened to go over your sleeve & then tightened with a Velcro strap. Gloves are thick. You would have a hard time picking up a dime but should have no problem holding a shovel or tool. You can use a cell phone by swiping with your index finger. Has a nice loop to pull the second glove on. Powered up the gloves on a table, one on high (RED light), one at low (BLUE light). After 10 minutes there was a noticeable difference in heat level. Overall, very nice with a lot of features.

      heated glove test
I bought for winter photography/astronomy. Tested to -5' C. functioned well. Not a rigorous work-site test. I love them for my purpous. Worth every penny. I didn't test battery because telescope was unreliable after 2hrs I would not last 6hr regardless. I think I got near spec (6hr) over 3 seperate outings.

A bit too expensive in my opinion but I still gave them a shot. It says the batteries last 6 hours but they don’t. They last 4. To make it through a work day you will need to order a second pair of batteries which will cost you roughly $60 on top of the price of gloves. You can buy these for over $300 or you can buy another brand for cheaper. Your choice.

Very comfortable gloves, and the fingers allow for great flexibility. Many gloves I have tried had fingers that are too stiff. Milwaukee’s gloves have been thoughtfully designed, and are well made. I have yet to experience below zero degree weather, but in the teens a low setting did the job. The gauntlets easily cover my coat sleeves and the wrist elastic is just tight enough to keep the earth in.

I ordered the XL size. My hands are not overly large in size. These are VERY tight fitting for my hands, They restrict hand thumb and finger movement. They do keep your hands warm. Milwaukee’s sizing criteria needs improvement.

          New but didn't work
One of the gloves had a bad connection that any movement caused the glove to turn off. It looked like the part that plugged into the battery had corrosion on it, but when I cleaned off it was no better. Brand new and didn't work.
