be sure and read the directions for assembly first! If you do that you will have it together in no time. You need to be sure to leave ample space above the fixture so you can place the screws comfortably. Remembering you are screwing a number of items together that need to line up.

The design is nice. But the "frosted" glass is actually very thin white paint, and no matter how careful you are (I am a professional designer with lots of experience in building things), assembling the whole unit is so awkward that you will likely scratch the paint a little. I did in 2 places: really small specs, but SO frustrating. Frosted glass (inexpensive) does not quite give you the same opaque look, and heavy duty paint is more expensive, but the designers who came up with the light design should really go back to their drafting table to solve the problem. 3 stars is because overall it is an inexpensive light ands it look nice.

We purchased this light twice and both times it came broken. Not only was it broken but the installation of the light was a joke, the holes that were predrilled didn’t line up and it was impossible to install, so we took it back and are not planning on reordering it.

The glass that goes on the front part was broken. The tabs that hold the glass in place aren’t put in the proper places so you have to work quite a bit to get the glass seated properly. Definitely disappointed for the price of this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fixture is nice looking from the front and the side but I do not like the look of the bulbs being exposed from under neath. I have the fixture mounted high and so you see right into the fixture. It would be nice it there was a piece of the sheer glassfor the bottom of the fixture so you did not see the underneath part of the fixture. I think they really cheaped out on the fixture by not having a piece for the bottom.

We really love this light fixture. The multiple glass panels and the design offers the right about of dimension we were looking for.

Nice design, but the glass was broken. However, it looked better without the two glass types.

I really like the look of this light. It does take some time to put all of the glass pieces in. I put in 3 - 40 watt bulbs, but it isn't bright enough. The inner layer of glass is painted white and the top is open for the light to bounce off the ceiling. You can put in brighter bulbs. I wish the glass allowed more light through. Be careful to not scratch the thin white paint layer! It is easy to do when you are putting info it together. I scratched it and it is really obvious with the light shining through. I left a message with the company to see if I can get it replaced a week ago. but I haven't received a return call.

One of the sheets of glass was broken when we received it. The glass was so thin that we returned it. We were concerned about how easily the glass parts would break. We liked the design but didn't feel it was durable enough for us to keep.
