This the BEST IRONING BOARD I have ever used. Folks at Minky to the time and effort to make an excellent ironing board. I bought a cheaper brand and took it back but the Minky is worth every penny. It is nice to use a product that works well!

The ironing board works well. The only problem was the label that wrapped around the cover. When it was removed, it left a sticky mess on the cover. It was hard to remove, no instructions if that happened and scrubbing the cover caused it to fade. 100% on the board and 50% on the cover.

This is a great ironing board. If you are considering a new ironing board please consider this one. The week BEFORE I ordered up my new ironing board I watched my hot iron fall from my OLD ironing board. The hot, heavy iron landed literally within two inches from the head of my sleeping dog. I wish that I could say that I was exaggerating for emphasis about the iron landing with two inches from the dog's head. I am not. The iron missed the dog who was thankfully only startled by the falling appliance. I was badly rattled. We had a very, very close call. The iron was set down for a few seconds and I had not not even turned my back on my OLD ironing board. I had not left. Now LOOK at the thingy* behind THIS ironing board. That loopy thingy HOLDS YOUR RESTING IRON. Your iron can be hot or unplugged and cold. It does not matter what the temperature is. There is no need for a tottering iron that is sitting upright on the flat board. The whole board would pretty much need to be knocked over to bring that iron down when it is in the iron holder. That said the board itself is reasonably stable. It feels solid on the floor. The height is adjustable and it would accommodate even someone who is very tall. It could also adjust to somebody shorter. The surface is well padded and the cover appears to be durable. The iron moves over the cover smoothly. There is a guide clip that keeps the irons cord out of the way as you are working. The whole set up appears to be very well thought out. You can waste your money on less expensive board and have to replace it eventually, That will cost you about the same as if you got this ironing board to begin with**. I suspect that this ironing board will be last one that I will ever need to purchase. Minky is a long established company is out of the UK. .I was impressed enough with my new ironing board to Google the information. Housewares are their specialty. It shows in the quality of this product. I am pleased with my purchase. * A technical term. Do try to keep up :) **It would be a great deal of savings if I took into consideration the two irons that fell from my OLD ironing surface and needed to be replaced.
