I have seen these in use in the Marine industry and wanted one for home. Got a GREAT deal on the 20ft system. My husband made a slight modification to extend the hose that connects to the faucet. The entire system went up in minutes. Works great and has already made the south Florida summer more tolerable. Even the dogs enjoy standing in the mist. I also purchased a 4 way hose adapter so I can leave my garden hose in use and added a drinking fountain for the dogs. 2 way wasn't enough and didn't find a 3 way.
Cracked nozzle sprayers and hard to screw into the hoze

I bought the 20 foot misty mate and the plastic nozzles/sprayers are very cheap. One of them was cracked right out of the bag. The hose connection comes in two pieces that leak even with the rubber fitting. Two of the nozzle sprayers were very hard to screw into the system and took several minutes each. I feel very lucky that I avoided cross threading the nozzles. The instructions say to soak the plastic nozzles once a year and I'm certain they will not last that long.
Excellent on scorching hot day when needed. Just be careful...

Excellent on scorching hot day when needed. Just be careful where you set it. My mistake was over cloth dinner tables, were soaked within 30 minutes. Some people don't like to cooled down, who'd figure.

I have not been able to get it connected. I'm 76 years old and don't know how to set it up. I'm waiting for one of my sons to be able to come to NM. They all live out of state.

Easy setup and installation. Everything you need is in the box except if you need screws for a non-wood surface. Love it to cool off on a hot summer day.

Good value for the money. Easy to set up and install. Works as expected. A little work to position all the nozzles so they point mist in the right direction, but for the cost here worth the extra effort. Used it on 100 plus degree days here in TX and it dropped patio temperature by 5 degrees.
