I ordered two of these Modern Forms Wynd fans for an outdoor pavilion. These fans move plenty of air. The fans come with remotes but i mainly operate them from my phone. There is an app for these fans which allow you to control them via app. Since I installed two fans in my pavilion, im able to control both through the app instead of having two remotes. In the app they are labeled deck and patio. Another great thing that i feel is overlooked is the black cover plate for the lights. Since we installed them in a pavilion that already had can lights we wanted something clean looking without a light on the fan. This was tough to find but this fan comes with a black cover to go over the light. These fans are awesome and we get alot of compliments. Note: one fan had an issue but this was not a home depot issue. We called Modern Forms and they sent us a new module right away which solved our problem. Excellent outdoor fans

This was a great buy. I have four of them in different parts of the house. The only issue I have is with one of them. The light cover occasionally falls off when I turn the fan on. It's fallen off so many times that it has broken into several pieces.

One fan trips the breaker after running for 30 seconds. The other fan works but is slightly wobbly. These aren’t cheap, and appear to be well made. But are they? If they both worked great, I would be thrilled. I hope they have good customer service.

The fan and the attached light are fantastic. I absolutely love it. The only places that need improvement are (1) it would be nice if the light was a little warmer. I'm not saying it should be less bright. It just should be a little warmer. (2) the instructions were very vague in places and I had to study them much more than should have been necessary. That being said, the installation could not have gone better, but it could have gone faster. (3) The hanger was not perfect for my installation. I had a fixture that was set up for a ceiling fan in the 1980's. The holes in my fixture were smaller than that of the hanger bracket. I had to improvise and use a 3" wood screw to go into the stud to make it work.

This fan stopped working after a few months. The company did send a new one but it had the same problem and fan did not work. They jad no other solution for the second faulty fan.

We purchased 2 of these fans through Home Depot and while they are beautiful, the constantly drop off of our WiFi and we are unable to control them. We have called the company many times and even though they try to help, they are unable to find a solution. Waste of money, we have purchased much cheaper smart fans that work so much better. Don’t waste your time. buy a hunter fan instead. Purchased in February of 2021 and we’ve had nothing but issues

Really, really like this fan in our kitchen. Quiet, powerful, and attractive.

Doesn’t move as much air as I thought it would

Well made, incredibly quiet, adjustable light that max out at 1600 lumins. Has a remote (wall mounted switch of the same function is avaiable, but extra. DC motor with 6 speeds plus a random speed changing breeze-like setting.

Gorgeous fan. Easily integrated with SmartThings and Alexa. I will be buying another/different Modern Forms fan for our 2 story family room also. Very happy with this.

The fan is gorgeous, it looks exactly like we had hoped. However, the remotes are garbage. One of the remotes quit working completely, despite taking it apart multiple times. The manufacturer has no interest in helping with faulty remotes. DO NOT BUY from this manufacturer.

First one, no light kit. 2nd one stopped working in 90 days. Now outside return window. Good on Home Depot for offering store credit, but I must hire someone to remove and return the fan. Won't order from Modern Forms again.

Can’t connect to Wi-Fi and fan clicks

Purchased 2 of these for my living room from HD. The first one installed worked correctly, the second the fan work as it should, the light did not. Only operating at brightest level and then would strobe. I had to make an appt. for a "Fan Tech" to call me 1 week later because you cannot get through to customer service. He determined the receiver was bad and after I supplied through an email my proof of purchase a new receiver would be sent to me.....THAT WAS 3 WEEKS AGO! Have sent numerous emails inquiring and get a standard email to contact Orders Service which is an email and included in my email!!! You have no idea if it's even in the process of being shipped??? Now the first fan installed has decided to have a mind of it's own. Light comes on in the middle of the night and strobes. The fans look great are very quiet, but don't work as advertised and the customer service of Modern Forms is beyond poor. MOVE ON!
