Good cushion, decent waterproofing for a nice layer under area rug

The carpet pad was stuck to from the folds. My guess is that it was folded when it was hot and the waterproof side melted together. When we tried to unfold it the water proof barrier tore on the edges. Returned item.

Not very padded; flat and hard. May work good for the issue of having pets but for softness get something else.

Quality item that worked exceptionally well for its purpose. Easy to trim when necessary for exact fit.

The pad was ease to rollout. Make sure you have the correct side down. Mine is on carpet. It stopped the rug slipping and helped to flatten the rug. (still working on that). The pad does grip the rug and hold. It is water proof. Already spilled a glass of water.

The Mohawk 9 x 12 rug pad is excellent quality. It grips the floor to prevent the rug on top from slipping. The pad makes it easier to move furniture on the rug. The pad provides a moisture barrier to protect the flooring underneath the pad against those spills that are sure to happen. It is easy to cut to precisely fit the rug. It can also be used under a rug that is placed on top of wall to wall carpet. I haven’t tried this with my pad, but I know from prior experience that rugs on carpet ‘crawl’ out of place. My guess is this pad would prevent the rug from moving on the carpet. I highly recommend the Mohawk rug pad.

It works 100% to save wood floor from pet and other liquid messes. Floor stays dry. Highly recommend!

Purchased a large Oriental rug and needed a quality rug pad. This is perfect and like the added pet protection. Ordered a runner pad after seeing quality.

Worked perfectly. No slip. Enough cushion, but not too thick. Easy to place.

The rug pad is just the right thickness for our area rug and is comforting to know it's there with our aging dog's occasional mistakes.

Better that using just the pads. Like them much should have gotten a bigger size.

Yes, I'll order another. The fabric has no odor from production, and is smooth against the floor, and yet resists slipping. The thickness of this rug pad is excellent; not so plush that tripping over the rug is an issue but enough to make a landing soft. Thanks
