Very soft area rug, with a neutral color palette. Although the color is named "white smoke", which implies a gray to me, I would say the color(s) are very neutral, containing a base of cream, with accent colors of both light and dark taupe. Overall, a very soft, creamy, warm look. To me, the color pattern is reminiscent of a subtle animal print, which I personally like and think it goes with many styles. As you can see from my picture, my animal likes it too.

The Claremont White Smoke Area Rug, Room Size 5ft. X 7ft. from the Mohawk Home Collection is super soft. Right away upon opening the wrapper, I knew I had made the right choice. After simply unrolling the rug, I noticed the shag was nice and deep and went up to my first knuckle when I dug my finger tips into the soft carpet. This particular rug comes in four different sizes including a runner which will go nicely in a hallway. I also saw that it comes in a large 8ft. X 10ft. which would be lovely in a bedroom because of it's softness on bare feet. The colors in this White Smoke style go very well with my brownish gray flooring. I am going to put a large piece of non-slip rug foam underneath this rug so the rug will stay in place on my hard floor.

My wife wanted to replace a carpet in our Master Bathroom that didn't really go with any of the colors in that room. This carpet looked like it would go well with travertine tile floors, medium brown walls and granite countertops that contain those colors as well. We didn't know exactly what to expect ordering from a picture but we both were very happy with the colors, overall appearance and quality of hemming/binding.and tufting of this carpet. The backing also seems to be of pretty good quality although I am not a carpet expert. I do wonder why it was made of 100 regular polyester instead of the Mohawk/DuPont trademarked Triexta, which I understand to be some sort of "super-polyester". The appearance of the material used is soft and low luster, which makes it look more like a natural fiber. Time will tell how it wears and cleans but for now we are very pleased with the look of this carpet. BTW, the colors seem pretty close to on the web site. Of course, what you see will vary slightly based upon your computer color settings.

The Claremont White Smoke rug is really high quality. It is lying flat immediately after putting it down. The low shag is dense and it should wear well. There are several neutral colors blended together and it coordinates perfectly with the other area rugs in my living room (they are khaki). The 5x7 size measures almost exactly to the description with just about 1 inch extra in the length. It is recommended to add a rug pad but I am using rug gripper tape at both ends to hold it in place. The rug is soft and thick enough that a pad is an extra expense that isn't necessary. The online photos on my laptop are pretty true to the actual color.

I really like the look and feel of this carpet. It is very thick and plush and soft. Very happy with this one. It has a modern design to it that I do like. I'm sure it will be a talking point when quests come over and see it. It says clean up is easy and I like that, we'll see. I would recommend this carpet to others I'm very pleased with it. Have not decided where I will be using it yet but here are some pictures of it laid out.

This Mohawk area rug is a great rug for a room where there might be pets or messy things that would not show in this all over brown/ beige mix. It almost looks like a leopard print, but not quite. Even though the pile is the same height, the pattern makes me think of a sculptured look. It is polyester that feels very soft under foot. This rectangle shaped rug is five by seven feet and is good for a small to medium size room. The backing is polyester and latex , but is not padding. A separate pad could be used to keep rug from sliding. The edges are finished. It is stain resistant and can be spot cleaned with soap and water. There are three other sizes available in this pattern. 7 X 2.1 feet as a runner. 4 X 2 feet as a small area rug. 10 X 8 feet as a large area rug.

Our new rug just arrived and I have to say it is really a nice luxurious feeling rug. The colors are vibrant and this will be a welcome feeling place to put our feet this winter when we get out of bed on the inevitable cold mornings to come. This is made in the US of imported material, 100% polyester. It is quite heavy and thick and is a welcome addition to our home.

This is a great area rug for oou enrtyway to our new home. The earth tone color really works for us. It is 100% polyester and tha make it very cleanable and care free. It will vacuum easily and dry fast if needed. it unrolled fast and flattened in a flash. The color, and there are many colors available, so rest assures this will be perfect for evry room. We are very happy.

The area rugs are thick and beautiful... had to go to a second store to get the size I needed but the associate at both stores helped me find what I needed...
