It's a nice desk,but missing final touches,so to speak. Upper drawers are pretty much useless, because they would fall out if opened. Middle part of the desk isn't utilized. And you cannot put anything heavier on it, either, because it could break ( the middle part). Too bad. The price is not that low for such quality. Honestly,I expected this desk to be better built, and especially, better designed.

After a long search on-line I finally bought this nice-looking desk that was within the budget from Home Depot. The desk arrived in two separate heavy boxes containing parts for the two units. It took about 4 hours for me and my 10-yr old boy to assemble the units. We have assembled several furniture before so we have some experience. The boxes did not include the instructions but were available on-line in pdf format. They are pictorial, without written explanations but not so difficult to follow. Although tiring and time-consuming, the assembling work was going great until this happened...a board accidentally slid and fell over another causing a bad damage to it. The middle part of the board (#6) crumbled like a cookie, revealing the loose, fibrous and cheep-looking inner material. If the board was made with reasonably quality material, it would not have broken by such a simple fall. I knew from the description that it was not real wood but never thought it would be so poorly made. It was heartbreaking to us and we lost interest in continuing the work. But we eventually assembled it anyway after sometime. Although the broken part of the board is somewhat hidden in the leg space under the main table, the damage is prominent. This was a bad experience for us. Otherwise, the desk externally looks good as shown in the picture (see photo).

Lovely desk, LOTS of storage space and surface area. Very straightforward directions if you take it one thing at a time. Doesn't take up a ton of floor space.

This desk is very nice. However, too many parts make it time consuming and difficult to assemble. I suggest some of the smaller parts be assembled prior to packaging,
