This is a gorgeous fan, the centerpiece of any room. My fan doesn't wobble at all, even in the highest speed. In fact, it is rock solid and silent. The amount of air moved on the lowest speed is impressive. We couldn't be more pleased, in fact, we bought another one!

The fan is beautiful--which makes the quality of this product so disappointing. We purchased this to update another Monte Carlo fan that was nearly 14 years old (which, I should mention, was heavy, properly weighted at the fan base and built to last.) When we started unpacking it, both my husband and I remarked at how lightweight the fan was. It was professionally installed by someone who has done every other fixture in our home and even he was surprised. Once he had it up, we turned it on and it started rocking immediately after we turned on the fan. He used the leveling kit included, and that did absolutely nothing (the weights they sent with the fan were completely useless quite frankly.) It's so light that it swings with every single rotation. This was a complete waste of our time and money. At this price point I'd expect a quality product and that's just not what you're getting. Our installer is coming back with additional weights to try and combat the swing, but because this hangs down in our living room from the high ceiling, anyone walking upstairs on the open hallway is going to see those weights sitting on the fan blades. Would not recommend this product and it's the last Monte Carlo we'll ever buy.

Do not buy this fan if you use a wall dimmer or want to use something like the Lutron Caseta Fan Control. The remote module in the canopy can not be bypassed and must be in place, and the fan will not work with an existing wall dimmer. (See the schematic of the remote module in the manual, which takes black/white hot/neutral connection, as you’d expect, but then outputs to UVW wires, which can not be connected directly to the house wiring.
