Nice product.

I love this fan. I looked for over year for a fan that would be both functional and beautiful. It definitely is a conversation started. The installation went smoothly. My husband and I assembled the fan and then had an electrician install it because of our 16' ceiling. It is quiet and pushes a lot of air, even on the lower speeds. I like the fact that you can easily reverse the direction with the remote. The fan did not need to be balanced, but there is a bit of a wobble at the higher speeds. I attribute that to the 4' down rod. I definitely recommend this fan.

Our old Casablanca Panama 5 (remote) bit the dust, remote control was getting flaky and bearings making noise then remote went out completely. Would of cost over $300 to repair. After two years without a working fan I decided to get one. Purchased a Home Decorations Brand fan from HD and it was so so. I returned it for an Emerson Rah Eco 60". Nice fan when idle but six blades when rotating doesn't do the blade aesthetics any justice. Also blades were sorta narrow with a taper, not the most impressive air flow. Light cover is plastic and cheep looking not glass as in the description. Remote was finicky too. Returned it as well. I saw this Maverick 70" fan and fell in love with it. We really do not need a light in our application and that's fine, it would ruin the whole look on this baby. Let me tell you this thing is cool, very cool, aircraft propeller inspired....nice simple and yet refined. Don't be fooled about the Balsa wood blades, they look like they were carved out of a solid piece of walnut and very nicely done at that. The three blades attach to the so called stator part of the motor which in fact is the part that rotates and what would normally be the rotor(armature) is the stationary part. So the motor is sorta the hub for the blades and concealed, nice. Super quiet DC motor, remote receiver is separate in the canopy which is nice if it ever needs replacing. Packaging was stellar, NOT your typical far east made fan. This fan is in a great room with a nineteen foot ceiling height from the floor. I used the 12" downrod , I have a staircase that would not allow a lower hanging fan. Airflow is great, I'm not concerned with MPH but with CFM and these blades scoop up plentiful amount of air even at lower speeds without a wind tunnel effect. I use speed 3 mostly, sometimes 4. Max RPM is about 130 per the specs??? It's on the modern side but I feel it would go nice with a lot of different decors. BTW....this one is staying!!!

Really nicely crafted fan, design hides canopy fasteners for a very clean look. Remote does not live up to the build quality of rest of product - 2 stars for that part.

Fan is a stunner, a real focal piece. We were going to replace our dining room light (which is next to living room), we now have to rethink that piece as we do not to take away visually from this beautiful fan. Fan itself is well made and really light for its size . What stood out to me about build quality is they included a small cover to hide screws on remote holder which would only be visible if remote was out of holder , its the small touches that show top engineering.

Solid, solid fan. Nothing but compliments
