This small bag, was 1/3 full AT BEST. it was all large chunks, not suitable for small pots or for mixing. Was also wet from humidity. I have not inspected for mold yet, but that's because i'm debating going through the hassle of a return.

Thank you for your purchase. The Mosser Lee Red Lava Rock is sold by volume, 1.5 quarts. Lava Rock tends to hold humidity and will easily dry out once exposed to air.

Exceptional product, which is what I have come to expect from everything I buy from Mosser Lee.
It is so strange to see people surprised by the size of the bag; one bag will hold me over for several small potted plant projects. I guess if you were going to do your whole yard you would be better off finding a cheaper product, but for me, I appreciate the quantity and the quality.
