I've used these before with excellent results. However I found that when trying to install on a 10" roughout toilet it will not let the toiler set level. I ended up having to remove the repair flange and pursue other options.

I needed the extra distance provided by the 4 tabs for a slab-on-grade repair to anchor into solid masonry. This fit the situation perfectly!

Studs need to be longer
The studs are not long enough. This was set down in the slab, and they didn’t come up thru toilet holes. Did not work

Worked well over my damaged toilet flange. I really like that the toilet bolts that secure the toilet to the flange are welded in place. Makes it easy to attach the toilet.

This thing saved the day. The pipe wasn't secured to the floor and this allowed me to secure it to the floor around it. I was also able to cover the old, broken flange. The weird thing is that the wax ring goes between the old flange and this new one (underneath). It is working well.

I had a very old toilet that finally needed changing. When I took it apart, there was no flange at all. The Hydroseat repair flange worked perfectly in this situation. Easy to install and the new toilet up and running in no time.

Life saver
First off let me say, I spent a week looking to find something to allow me to set new toilet lower to flower and keep from wobbling. I redid my hall bath in condo (1965 built). Removed old toilet which had the rusted bolts, nuts, etc. When I was ready for new toilet to be installed, I purchased the pvc flange which the lower part went into 4inch steel waste pipe which was 1/2 above flooring. So I removed new toilet and pvc flange, and then installed brass flange which sat around steel pipe to floor. Anchored that down, then you install new regular wax ring, and then I sat the Hydroseat on top of that. They say the inner pre-drilled holes are for concrete flooring, and outside ones are for anchoring into wood flooring. I had old small 1" tile flooring under my new laminate. I predrilled and was only able to get 2 holes predrilled, god only knows how big the hole around waste pipe was. Anyways, once you seat the Hydroseat on top of wax push down and anchor either way your not gonna see it anyway. Remember to remove yellow cap, the push down blue inner part into waste pipe so waste funnels directly into pipe, doesn't say that on instructions. Place toilet on fixed welded screws and tighten down. Never over tighten, attached water to tank, turned on water, filled, and flushed no leaks. Lifesaver!! If your drilling into ceramic tile get a diamond bit, and if you wanna upgrade screws you could. There ok. Went from 1/2" gap to perfect mount.

Flange was broken on my concrete slab. The 90 degree pvc pipe started right away. This part saved me from jackhammering to replace the 90. No other parts would’ve worked. I give this part 1 million stars.

Included hardware is made out of cheese
All screws stripped with only hand tightening, but the whole thing had to be thrown away when the shaft one broke off in the floor. Can't put a new screw in so there's no way to get 4 screws into the floor to install the unit now. Total junk and absolute waste of money.

      Worked great!
Saved me so much time and money! Easy installation. I put a wax ring first, then this piece, then an additional wax ring. Since I was tiling, the floor was slightly higher therefore I needed the double ring.

My bathroom had vinyl planking installed over existing flooring which raised the new toilet up too much to seal the wax ring on drain flange. This product did the trick. Requires a wax ring under it as well though. Works perfect no leaks, sealed great!! Highly recommend..
