this is a excellent transition fitting, works great from valve to pipe n other applications. I used 4 of them for shower valve replacement. they worked great . it really is seamless. they are very well made n do a great job. minimum mechanical skills needed. these fittings can be reused by simply buying the cpvc slip joint fitting. excellent money saver. I recommend installing fittings before mounting the valve. then it's simple pipe running to hit the target, then transition union. it's a wonderful work saver for day men. get em ,they work. let's do it. thanks again HOME DEPOT.

Does what I w@need it to do

This is a great transitional fitting for the DIY’er. It resolved my plumbing issue very quickly.

As good as the firings backin

Product was easy to install and fit securely into connective fittings. It is set up nicely for the faucet to be attached with screw on connection.

This is just what I needed to connect a piece of CPVC to a garden hose in order to run the pipe under a sidewalk. Didn't need the pipe fitting side, but it may come in handy sone day.

Easy and fast way to transition from any other pipe to CPVC... especially when mounting filters!

This is a useful fitting, but the description says it is a "Slip-Joint x Slip-Joint Transition Union." It is really a slip-joint by male NPT union.

Great product. Easy to work with it

although the piece was not needed it seems to be a solid fitting. i actually bought 2 more in case im in need of a fix

Good for a union

Exactly as described. Used for TPV drain line. It functioned correctly when tested - not used on a pressured line so this is not a review for that application.
