Perfect for my needs. I restore apartments when changing tenants and this does the job very well. It gets rid of pet odors, rotten food odors from abandoned refrigerators, etc.

It sets on top of a bookcase in my office/shop and does its thing. I love it.

The New Comfort HE-500/O3 4000 mg/hr ozone generator was purchased to kill mold spores and eliminate a mildew/mold odor from clothes and carpets. This unit was selected based on the high ozone output, 3 year warranty, and low price. When I received the unit, I was pleased with the quality of construction. It has a sturdy metal cabinet with a detachable three wire power cord like a desktop computer. There is a fuse holder with a spare fuse included in the chassis connector. The internal fan is fitted with a removable, washable, metal screen air intake filter. The ozone is produced by a single internal plate that is removable for cleaning or replacement. The shipping packaging provided excellent protection and the unit worked perfectly. I would buy the same unit again and highly recommend it. Easy to use, simple, and efficient. The only surprise was that the manual stated that the 3 year warranty does not apply to the ozone plate or filter. However, the plate is rated for very long 10,000 hour life and the cost of a replacement is reasonable. The ozone generator was first used in a 12 ft x15 ft bedroom that had previously been cleaned of some white mildew on a wall, leather items in the closet, and some wood furniture. A solution of white vinegar and borax was used. The carpet also had mold smell and was cleaned using a mix of Borax and Baking Soda. Then an air purifier with hepa and charcoal filters ran for several days but some mildew odor remained. The ozone generator was placed in the room with a fan running to help distribute the ozone through out the room. To allow easy entry of ozone, the clothes closet ( full of clothes with odor ) was opened along with the dresser and night stand drawers, The generator was set for 40 minutes and the room closed. 8 hours later the ozone concentration was still very high and the windows were opened to clear the ozone. A slight trace of ozone remained for several days. The mold odor was gone. It has now been over a week and...

This is a excellent machine. I had a RV that I purchased that had an odor in it. I tried every thing to cure it. The Ozone Machine cleared the order.

If you have odors this is the machine for you. My mother passed away suddenly while I was out of town and no one knew it. They refer to it as an unattended death. This machine saved my mum's doll collection. We were told by a crime scene cleanup company that nothing would be able to be saved, anything of fabric, paper, plastics,leather etc. They told me the only items that would be salvageable and not retain an odor would be glass items. Unfortunately we listened to them in the beginning stages of cleanup, and threw so much stuff away. I purchased this macine as my last effort we tried every spray out there even ones specifically for this situation and they not only did not get rid of the smell they made it worse by adding their smell to that awful smell. This ozone machine saved everything left we didn't dispose of. Pictures, the dolls, clothes, leather, furniture, wood, and most of all pictures and books. It even saved my father and brothers memorial flags. It wasn't instantaneous mind you but it worked. This has been the most traumatic time of my life and having to just throw everything from my mum away was even worse. If you know anything about an unattended death you will find that this is the most difficult odor to get rid of it permeates into everything including drywall, I ran this machine for a straight 3 weeks non stop on high and l was able to get rid of the smell. I will say vinyl and plastics were the most stubborn but this machine did it. I even salvaged all the pictures and books. This has been horrific experience but this machine saved so many of my mum's cherished treasures that otherwise would have been thrown out. Things that were really stubborn I put into a large box and closed it I made a hole in the size of the box and put the machine right against the whole and left it there for 24 hours, that worked wonders.

When I read about this product on here I was skeptical of all the praiseworthy reviews to the extent I investigated many of the reviewers other reviews to establish whether the reviewers were real people or fakes written up by the seller itself (apologies to all. it's an expensive machine, I didn't want to be misled). I took a chance and got the machine. It's task was to sit in one of my kitchen cupboards that STANK because a mouse dropped dead in the wall behind it and we cant get it out of the wall without breaking a big hole in the dining room wall or smashing into the kitchen cupboard and wall behind, which just isn't going to happen. the cupboard stank and the stench was spreading to a lot of other places in the house...I was really hoping this machine would work. I did 1 hour on low ... and am delighted to report it actually worked!! rotten mouse carcass stench is all gone! :) so I tried it in my car ... the car my toddler threw up in 4 months ago. I have disinfected the car 3 times and wound the windows down while driving countless times to ventilate - but once the car heats up there's the vile smell again ... so I put in the ozone generator for an hour on low ... and now I have a normal smelling car!! :) I am very happy with this product! it leaves a weird smell behind once it has been used - but it's not as offensive as the smell I'm trying to get rid of - and it's been less than 24 hours since I did the ozone process and the ozone smell has nearly all cleared already. I am so pleased I bought this product! - and this is a genuine review from a genuinely happy customer :) ... note to all users - make sure to heed the instructions where it says people are to clear out of the area where it's being used and that the area must be ventilated for about an hour (cant remember exactly the instruction) before people can return. Awesome unit, it's works extremely well. We use in our house 2-3 times a week. It takes away pet odors as well as smoke. Best part is the automatic timer so I don't forget to leave it on too long.

I use this machine weekly to remove smells and stagnant odors from vehicles as I detail them. It works great and the built-in timer is a great addition. I simply turn it on over night and the machine cuts off after the timer runs out. Open up the car in the morning and all the odors are gone. I've had multiple customers ask me where they can buy the scent that I use in their car and it is great to see the surprise when I tell them that it is simply clean air.

My rental property was left with a severe cat and dog urine smell. The smell was so bad I thought I would never get another tenant to rent it. After a four person cleaning crew spent two days cleaning; the smell was no better. I bought this and ran it four days non-stop. When I went back the smell was completely gone. Ran it one more day on the second floor and the smell has not returned in three weeks.

I live in an apartment building that's supposedly non-smoking, but most of my neighbors smoke inside anyway :-P It's nice to have this on hand for making sure my stuff doesn't end up with that disgusting stench! It's also handy for de-stinking secondhand things I buy. I close them up in my bathroom and let the machine go for an hour. Voila! Non-stinky items, non-moldy bathroom.

I've used several of these over the years and although I've only had this one for about a month, it has proven to be the best yet for the money. High and low options give flexibility to match the job and power for the tougher ones. People must understand however that this machine is NOT to be used in an occupied space - it depletes oxygen for breathing (by design) so rooms must be vacant and allowed to air out once treatment is complete.

We have used an ozone machine for several years in our retail store which is in a very old historic building with a damp, granite wall basement. This machine seems to have a stronger ozone output than our older model so we are very pleased to see (and smell) quicker results in our basement. Thanks for a great product!

I purchased a home that had smokers living in it. I was hesitant that this generator would work but after reading all the reviews I decided to give it a try. I was told that the previous tenants lived in the house for 2 years and smoked repeatedly. The smoke smell is completely gone! This size of a generator was used in a 1700 sqft house with 3 bedrooms and 2 large family rooms. First day I used it under the A/C vent and turned on the fan to circulate through the whole house. Then placed it in each room for 2 hours. I even used it in the garage to get rid of the musty smell. Unbelievable little machine!! Saved me hundreds if not thousands to get rid of the smoke odor. Give it a try... if it doesn't work return it and get your money back.

I was so impressed with the first air purifier that I bought last year, that I ordered another one for my treatment room. It works great on mold and other allergens. Thanks for these great products!

Used our ozone generator in our crawlspace under the house for the first time yesterday. Can even notice a fresher,cleaner smell in our livingroom and bedrooms. Looking forward to trying it in the living area next. Hard to believe that just plugging in a unit for two hours could make this much of a difference. Also very glad that we opted for the 7000mg unit. It really does an amazing job. Love the stainless steel and the 5-year warranty. Would definitely recommend. You have nothing to lose but the odor!
