Set it up a few hours before company arrives and it will always have ice at the ready!

When one cycle of ice is made, it melts before another cycle can be made. If you're looking for more than 9 pieces of ice, then this machine is NOT for you. Extremely disappointed in this ice maker.

So far it works great.Just dump water in and prest,you have ice.It is a great machine.HD sent it fast and I could not be more pleased with with them and product.I like shopping HD.

We've had our ice maker only for a few weeks, but boy, does it put out the ice. Which is especially great for my husband who drinks ice tea by the gallon. Even he can't keep up with the ice production. I prefer the large-sized ice cubes for they last longer for me, since I drink slower. We use our ice maker when we go camping and when ice dumps, we store in plastic bags in the freezer. No problem breaking any ice that have stuck together. I would recommend NewAir Ice Maker to anyone who goes through ice continuously.

Really great product, but the plastic plug sealing the water exit broke today, 4 months to the day after buying. Checking with NewAir for support.

Makes ice very quick which is nice. Ice seems to be sticking together in a cool climate. Still experimenting with different sizes so really can’t give a review at this time.

Have had this ice machine for less than a year and a half and it suddenly stopped making ice. Its past the one year warranty and according to troubleshooting it may be refrigerant leaking. It would likely cost more to repair than replace. DO NOT BUY! Unreliable and not worth the money!

Great product making ice as per design. Only hope this lasts longer than the magic chef which I replaced after three years of continuous icemaking

I’m really enjoying making ice from my filtered water. Works as expected. Am surprised that plug needs to be disconnected when not using.

My 2nd one. The first one said Igloo on the front but was an otherwise identical unit with a higher price tag. It can put out plenty of great ice cubes for an average household.

The unit was easy to install and put into operation. I have tried the different sizes and settled on the large size.

Very well packaged. All parts accounted for. Was up and running in no time and producing ice quicker than I thought it would. I would definitely recommend this if you find yourself running out of ice when you have any company over.

It has worked very well to supplement our ice maker which sporadically works. Good and quiet machine but only have used it a couple of weeks.

I did a lot of research because it seemed that most ice makers didn't come with great reviews. I came across the NewAir 28lb ice maker and it seemed to have the lease bad reviews. Shipment was quick & arrived in perfect condition with all pieces in box. I plugged in at home before taking on a 1 week trip and all seemed to work perfect. It seemed like every few minutes (probably no more than 10 min) I would hear ice drop. I just let it run. I got at least 2 or more gallon Ziploc bags per water filling and the ice did stay cold enough before emptying the bin. I shut off until vacation hoping for the best. This ice maker worked great! The only reason I had to buy any ice was because I made slushy drinks one day for many and they took A LOT of ice. Recommend this ice maker without reservations.

Exactly as described in most reviews. Makes ice quickly in 3 different sizes. Ice stays moist & sticks together once dropped into the basket. Except for freezing tubes, unit doesn’t cool below 32 degrees. Have to remove ice & put into freezer after basket is filled or will melt inside unit.
