This heater really worked to heat up my place. I love the slick design, the remote control, temperature settings and the timer settings. My place is a older home and doesn't have central heat/air. Because of this I depend on space heaters in the colder months. This heater performed against some of the more expensive ones I have tried. Top of the line and quality design. This is a must have for anyone looking for a heater.

It is super easy to assemble the wheels (no tools required), and is as simple as plugging in and letting it do its thing. Speaking of heat setting, this unit has a nice range of temperatures to choose from, high/low/eco setting, and a timer. This is so good in case you forget to turn the unit off. It heats up so quickly and provided ample warmth. It is very stable, and the wheels roll easily for if you need to move it into another room. It makes zero sound, and looks very nice. It is very stable, so you don't have to fear the unit tipping over. It also has a convenient handle for moving it, which stays cool while the heater is in use. The cord is a good length and there is a part at the bottom of the unit that it can be wrapped around for when not in use or to be put in storage. I really do love the digital display. It makes it so easy to look and see the exact temperature you have it set on. We are very happy with our NewAir oil-filled space heater.

I live in a drafty old house that was built in the late 1800s in rural Northern Wisconsin, so I’ve been in desperate need of a space heater for a long time. I’m pleased to report that the NewAir AH-450B oil filled heater is a great way to transform even a drafty room into a cozy living space. The NewAir is an attractive little unit with an unobtrusive black finish. The heater measures 13” by 6” and stands at approximately 25” high, so it’s small enough to fit in a corner or next to a piece of furniture. There is almost no assembly out of the box, all you are required to do is attach the rollers with four included butterfly nuts. The unit even comes with a remote control. I have wood flooring in my house, and I’m pleased that I was able to roll the heater across the floor on the included rollers without incurring any scratching. Also, the wiring in my house is very old, and I’ve had problems in the past with space heaters blowing fuses. I did not have that problem with this unit. The unit features an easy to read display, with large tactile buttons that are highly responsive. After you turn the heater on, it takes a short while to heat up and does so noiselessly. This is an oil filed heater so there is no electrical smell, and there are no hot coils that pose a fire risk. The heater does become hot to the touch, but not so that it might burn your skin. Still, you should not cover the heater or leave objects laying on it. The heater can be programmed to turn either off or on using the controls on the display. There are three heat settings, Low, High, and Eco. Low operates at 900 Watts and High operates at 1,500 Watts. There is no wattage designation for Eco, so it presumably operates at the lowest possible functional wattage. I ran my unit on the Eco setting and found it was adequate for heating the room. The heat settings across the top are listed at 65, 70, 75, 80 and 85 and the user can toggle through them with the buttons on the face of the unit or on the remote control. There is also a timer display that reads 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 hours. The unit can be programmed to turn either off or on at these intervals. NewAir AH-450B oil filled heater is an attractive little unit that goes together in a snap and is very easy to operate. I liked that the rollers don’t scratch the floors and that it is highly programmable. For users who don’t like to fiddle with digital displays, it’s very easy to simply plug in the machine and enjoy the warmth. This is a good looking, efficient space heater that can help turn any room cozy.

This space heater makes absolutely no noise. It heats up quick and is easily portable to any room. With the added bonus of a remote control you do not need to get up to turn it on. The style is also on point, you don't need to worry about where to hide it so nobody sees it.

I am very happy with our Newair heater! I bought one for my plant room and then ordered another for our living area. So much cheaper to run than the LP gas heating system.

I was searching for space heaters on the Home Depot website before making a purchase and saw that this heater got some pretty rave reviews. I want to see what the fuss was all about and decided to purchase it. I've had this heater for about two weeks or so, and I love it! Though it does take a little while to heat up, after about 20 to 30 minutes or so, I find that my bedroom is very warm and toasty. I also keep it next to my desk in my home office area as it gets a bit cold there. I hope that there will be a version of this particular heater that is suitable for warming up larger areas, like the living room. I would scoop it up immediately! I'm so glad I got it!

Heater works just great. Turned our Florida room into a bedroom which was wasted space before the heater. It's getting to Michigan Winter time and it keeps the room toasty. Very comfortable sleeping, reading and relaxing.

I needed this heater to keep my enclosed porch from freezing so I could store plants there for the winter. So far, so good! Just have to keep the temp on low and economy and it has maintained above 40 without having it on all day.

Had the unit for about 3 weeks with several cold nights. The unit did NOT live up to it's advertised description. It NEVER warmed our bedroom, it NEVER completely heated up. Completely dissatisfied with this unit. Couldn't wait to return it for a complete refund from Home depot. Home Depot provided ecelent customer service.

This oil-filled heater is easy to operate, heats quickly, and is very quiet. The only disappointment is that it does not turn back on after a power outage. Still, I would choose it again.

Got two of these because my mini-splits weren't sufficient to heat my home and my house is poorly insulated. I live in NJ where the Winter temps linger around the 30's and occasionally drop to the teens. This heater does the job and is a solid buy. A few tips #1 If you want to heat a large area buy more than one heater, place them strategically, and put on different circuits. #2 These take a while to fully heat up the room (because its radiant heat) so use on/off timer to your advantage.
