First off I tip my hat to Home Depot for having the best price, by far, on this item and for lightning fast shipping. The product itself is great. I would prefer real stone, but this makes it so easy. It took all of 15 minutes to install over a 4x4. (That includes removing and reinstalling our mailbox). We didn't have to cut to size or anything! I can see how the "two piece" covers would be easier, but this worked great for us.

We spend a great deal of time outdoors in the summer, and we recently decided that our old deck was in need of both an expansion and an update. We wanted to give our deck more of a natural woodsy feeling. So along with our other deck improvements, we also ordered 4 stone post covers. These covers are very well-made and sturdy. Since installing them, we have received many compliments on their authentic stone appearance. Now, we are enjoying both our deck and some very nice compliments from our neighbors!

While the stone post cover looks pretty natural, I feel the design is flawed. You can only use the cover for a new post as one-piece not two that you can wrap around an existing one. If you look inside, the cover is clearly glued with two pieces. Would it be of more value if made of two interlocking pieces? The other major flaw is the cover is not made to its measurement, meaning that you will likely have a hard time to fit in a 6 x 6 post despite of the product spec claim. I returned two I bought because one of them is already fractured.

Love the product, very sharp looking. Only wish they offered caps for over the top. Especially with a beam through the middle

Practically zero variation in color on both sets of post covers that were ordered. It looks like they were painted with one single base color then 2-3 stones have a VERY light accent colors that is barely noticeable. Looks very fake plastic-like from near and far away

The appearance in picture is far from what you get. I love the product itself, but the stone look is only with shape and less about the color in person. I plan to go in with some black paint and add the detail back in that should already be there…

they look plastic and don't fit together snuggly. A little disappointed.

It scratches very easily and color does differ from picture which I assumed. Picture makes post cover look a lot nicer than what I received.

Omg its so beautiful.. It looks as if a contractor did it but I did it myself.. My neighbors have even inquired about it.

They are not square and over half cracked trying to put on 6x6 post. Don’t buy bought 9 to have 5 good ones and still had to trim the post to make them fit.

Looks great, easy to work with.

Actual product looks nothing like image, image on website gives it real stone look, actual product looked like cheap plastic. We had to order online, because there weren't any in store to look at, and returned it as quickly as I opened it. Definately shouldn't cost a $100.
