Simple and easy
Setup is really quick plug it in to the outlets and follow the steps to connect.
Cameraa quality is very good. The picture is clear and it allows me to keep an eye on the fur babies when we are not here. Also the notification that there is movement is great as well. I can see when the kids get home from school. Great product.

it works
new to the wg4 but am withholding the 5star for implimentation of the additional cameras. so far I am happy with the system, It is an addition to an 8 camera 720p wired set up. the price has proven to be a great addition to my set up.... so it works, so don't be afraid to buy it.

Night owl is a great product
Works as described. Video is great I had just a little problem in setup,reset gateway then everything connected. I got it to watch the dog when away with app. For the cost and quality you just can't beat Night Owl. I have several of the Night owl DVRs and I like them too.

Great indoor camera system
It’s a great product but if you have multi night owl products and want to use a single app, you will have a problem.

Thank you for choosing Night Owl! You are correct. Some of our systems use different mobile apps. You can receive alerts from multiple apps of the same device with no issue. But to view live video, you will have to open that particular app. Thank you!

WARNING Do not buy this product. It has a software bug that renders notifications inoperable. Technical-support (language barrier here) says engineers are working to solve it. I ctaeled in my attic and performed a neat install and now with the steps they took thru I’ve got to get up there and bring everything back to within 3 ft of the gateway again. This has been a nightmare. I’m sorely disappointed in Home Depot for associating with this company which now I’ve learned has a poor BBB rating. Shame on you HD. Shame on you.

I did not keep the unit because my WiFi is...
I did not keep the unit because my WiFi is lousy. I actually removed every item in the box and it appeared this stuff is SOLID. After we get better WiFi I will purchase again. I hope all posts relative to this item are favorable at that time.
