SUMMARY: A nice medium duty holder.
BACKGROUND: I have a wide variety of ties, wraps, straps, and clamps for holding things. I got the GearTie to try out Niteize’s entry into the equipment tie-up field.
FIT AND FINISH: The wrap seems pretty nice out of the box. For someone with OCD like me the thought of a bent wire that is difficult to get perfectly straight again is frustrating, but I finally admitted to myself that it bends easily enough to go from crooked to crooked without difficulty.
OPERATION: For such a big tie it was hard to come to grips with the somewhat flimsy feel of the tie by itself. But once you wrap it around your (whatever you will use it on) and wrap it around itself (or put the small end through the loop) it is very secure. I decided to replace a big Cable-clamp on my main portable air hose with the tie. It did a better job because I didn’t have to be so careful coiling the hose, and the geartie secured the hose nicely. I found that I preferred to wrap the tie around itself to hold the hose and then use the loop to hand it all on a nail. But further use may change my mind.
Either way, it’s a nice addition to the “hold it” stable.

The loopable twist tie is awesome. It is perfect to hold things together and loops on itself so no need to tie it or twist the ends together. It's great for lugging hoses or other items that can uncoil around. The end has a sturdy plastic loop and the other end has a nice big plastic cap.
The tie easily holds the 75' hose pictured and the end can support the weight of the hose if you need to twist it around a hook to store it long term. Here it's shown keeping the 2 hoses from getting tangled together.

This is a very convenient twist tie. I use it for a big power cord that I use often. Its big enough that you could also use it for a garden hose. You just wrap it around what you want to hold, pull the end through the loop, and cinch it up. The long end sticking out is nice because you can use it for carrying or for hanging/storing it.
It seems very durable, bends easily, yet holds its shape when you wrap it.

I need several of these and so does everyone else! These reusable rubber twist ties are a must in every home. Can be used for so many tasks in and outside the the home, garage, or workshop! Made very well, feels solid, sturdy, and durable. There are numerous ways to "tie" them to conform to every need. Has a strong wire inside that hold its shape, tough rubber shell provides excellent grip, use indoors or out in any weather, integrated loop allows for secure attachment, hanging, and storage. 32" long. Assembled in the USA with USA and foreign components.

I ordered 2, and they were perfect for my need--longer and the fact that they loop. I used them to secure 2 sections of coiled, black rubber hose. They're stored for the winter on one end of my long work bench and available to put in my garden cart come Spring.

These giant twist ties are very useful for securing gear that you need to access off and on. I use this large one to secure a shop vac in my van so it doesn't roll around. Other size twist ties hold other gear in place. In whatever size, the twist ties are easy to fasten and release. I haven't had these long enough to assess how long they will last, but they seem pretty durable.

This is one of those tools that you never knew you needed until you've tried it. I've used it to secure garden hoses, bundles of extension cords, and also to secure items in the bed of my trucks - mostly multiple pieces pipes or lumber. It's flexible yet surprisingly sturdy, so it doesn't bend out of shape too easily. Rubber coating is holding up great. I'll likely be purchasing shorter lengths in the very near future!

This is one of those goofy items you never known you would need until you get one. In the package, it looks like another gimicky tool. In use, it works as advertised.
I have used it for organization for my water and pneumatic air hoses to include a few extension cords. The twist tie is very pliable but still stiff enough to bend as need for the task at hand. So far, it has held up well and expect to give many years of service.
Highly recommend.

If you have any stationary objects that need to remain, well, stationary, this is a great way to easily secure them. There are lighter-weight versions of these - this version is quite heavy duty. I use them in my wood shop for shopvac hoses and air compressor hoses, where I sometimes need to remove and replace them several times per work session. They're truly reusable and keep things constrained even after lots of uses. Plus they're bright enough you are not going to lose them!
