Assembly was very easy. Looks just like the picture. It’s on the firm side.. if you’re looking for a soft comfy chair this isn’t it. It reclines all the way back which is nice.

Great price for a recliner— first off. Even price compared furniture sites, and the big box stores. It is quite petite in terms of width, so a larger bum may not fit. I like to sit with my legs up, but can only use recline, cannot fit my legs into the seat. Visually it is very nice- so for a sitting room or conversation area this would work great, but as far as for comfort and binge watching tv, you might opt for a wider seated recliner for better comfort. This is one of those pieces you buy more for the “look” than comfort. But it nails the mid century aesthetic perfectly.

Noble House Deborah Light Grey Tweed Fabric Mid Century Modern Recliner is well made and is reasonable priced. The chair mechanism is steel, sturdy and should hold up to careful use. I wanted a small recliner, not one of those large chairs, something just for reading, watching television or listening to music. I wasn't looking for something large that I'd live in. This chair attracted me because it didn't look too much like a recliner in the room, but another chair. Its a traditional chair, light gray fabric, button back design and clean lines. The chair has a comfortable cushion seat about 5-inches thick with a firm feel. It has a reclining back that you push down with your weight while sitting, no lever. When the back tilts a mechanism raises up an ottoman like support for your legs, it all operates smoothly. The leg rest seems small in the pictures, but its really a good size for your legs. The chair is for an average size person, all in a smaller package about the size of an ordinary large club chair; although, its a little deeper to accommodate the recline function. The chair arrived in a box and came mostly assembled. The outside of the box was banged up, but the chair inside arrived in fine condition. Assembling the chair is straight forward, no tools needed and I did it myself in about five minutes. Just screw in the four threaded straight legs and slip the back cushion onto the relining back spring mechanism and you are done. Then when you sit and go back, the leg rest slides out and extends with plenty of support, very solid. This is a great chair for the price and love how it looks in the space.

If you are looking for a smaller chair that doesn't take up much room and also reclines, this may be what you are looking for. The Merynn Grey Fabric Mid Century Modern Recliner is a modest chair that has a tufted seat back. The chair is nicely packaged for shipping and is easily assembled. All you have to do is slide the chair back into the chair base, they lock together with a push and click. Then just screw on the legs. They include washers for the legs in case the chair legs need adjustment. I'm not a small guy and the recliner is comfy in the sitting position, when I recline I would have liked a bit more support for my head. Nice chair and it fits my needs.

I'm 6' tall. So when I sat in this recliner, my shoulders and head had no support. I figured it must be made for short people. When my wife sat in the recliner, her feet didn't come close to touching the floor, and the seat is too deep to accommodate shorter thighs. So I'm not sure what height this chair is made for. If my wife keeps it reclined, she fits ok. Price-wise, it's not bad. And it is super easy to assemble.

Having purchased several pieces of put-together furniture, I can attest that this Mervynn recliner is both very easy to assemble,is comfortable, and looks great. It arrived in a large box with only 2 main pieces to attach along with wooden pole contoured legs. Assembly is simply removing from box and attaching the back rest which locks into place with a firm push,and screwing the legs. It also comes with plastic washers if you need to adjust a wobble on uneven floors. We are using it in our backyard cabana which we utilize as a tv room and having taken several naps on the chair,it is certainly comfortable. Since I am not a tall guy,it feels great but not so sure if someone who is very tall will be able to fully recline in comfort. It is easy to open and close with a push and tuck and the foot rest is ample for feet comfort. It has a timeless style that will blend in with any decor and is nice alone, or in a pair. The cushions are a nice density and don’t feel skimpy. A definite winner in my book!
