The trailer I received didn't look anything like the one pictured on the web site. The sides and floor are solid steel instead of steel mesh. The quality of the material seems to be good but the instructions are printed in 8 point type making it very hard to read. The instructions also don't always match the trailer being built. It took me six hours to go from pallet to completed.

Nice little trailer. Took 5 hours to put together. Directions were hard to follow. Secured some loose fitting areas with a couple extra washers. Light weight, and easy tow.

All of the wheel bearings, seal, and hub cap sizes are just a little bit too far away from standard to use anything available off the shelf. If you need to fix this thing, there is no info or part numbers that I can find to order anything. If you lose a bearing on the road, you'll have to find a real trailer to put this thing on and leave it somewhere for 2 weeks until you can order new parts.

Instructions were extremely limited, hardly any relevant pictures and to top it off the instructions that were in there contained mismatched parts. It seems like they changed the instructions and parts, but didn't update the instruction paperwork. Only buy fully assembled!

Heavy duty, all the parts were there, excellent quality. Only problem was the two rear upright rail pieces both had an angle piece welded at incorrect angle. Made it a challenge to Correct, since I don't have a welder. It also is critical to alignment of tail gate lock bolts. Had to make some "angled" shims to insert between bottom rail and incorrectly welded angle on end upright, each side. The welding jig used at manufacturing needs to be changed or used correctly. Other wise I would have give the trailer kit a solid 5 stars. I would recommend a change to 14" wheels opposed to the 13" provided. I purchased two "four bolt lug pattern"14" tire/wheel combinations on line as replacements. This required 3/8" wheel extenders also, axial was not quite long enough for wider rims and tires. This trailer is heavy duty. I was impressed overall.

Almost every step of assembly needed to be refitted or modified. Very poor attention to detail in both assembly and fit/ finish.

Fit my Kawasaki Prairie 400 perfectly ! Sturdy and well built the expanded metal flooring has flexed at all when loaded. Was a breeze to assemble and everything aligned perfectly after removing a little of the flooring so the rear posts would fit flush against the frame. A higher quality set of tires maybe but so far so good. Totally satisfied !!

Northstar product is great. As for the way it was delivered between Northstar, , to Home Depot.... the pallet was a mess! The card board protection was ripped, and stepped on, some of the paint on some pieces were scratched down to metal, it had pieces that became unstrapped and we're falling off the pallet. Also missing were four parts. One metal bracket that was had bent. I had to bend it back by a vice. The people over at Northstar were great and sent me all missing parts. No fault on the Home Depot store either. It all came down to the individual driver and the freight company.

Every piece needed to be assembled. The side rails and tailgate do not fit correctly. The tail gate often falls down when hitting a small bump.

I use this trailer to haul my 2018 yamaha 450 fits perfect and i drive well over 55mph handles like a dream loads easy 1hr 15mins to put together

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the instructions don't match the installation. However the customer service from the manufacturer was excellent!!!

I love this product and wish i has bought it years ago. I can fold the gate into the bed and store it behind my trash cans. Its great for running loads to the dump. or picking up bags of dirt from Home Depot. Or moving an appliance etc. It is not something you can use to hall things a long distance like cross country or across several states but that is not its main purpose. It is designed to be an around town hauling trailer. If you are like me and have a nice car that you dont want ruined trying to load large boxes, tools, lumber, dirt etc in then this is great

Assembly was harder than expected. Slope of ramp when extended is much too steep.Gate should have additional section to fold out to decrease slope by 50%. Until I figure out a solution to this problem this trailer is functionally useless to me.

Put it together, took it to South Padre, Island,Tx. Did well to and fro!

Returned it when I found out I had to assemble it

The trailer is well worth the price.The unit arrived on time as promised and there was no damage.The assembly instructions were easy to understand and follow.I'm an aircraft mechanic so I had no with the assembly and I feel that a person with minimum mechanical knowledge should find this trailer easy to assemble.

The trailer pulls and carries things nicely my only issue is i thought the side were higher .i have to makeshift something so my barrels will stop falling out or over the side when i drive down the road

This utility trailer had several construction problems. Some items did not fit together and had to be modified. The instructions were poor.

The grade of the metal is not great. The frame has been finished well however other metal is still very susceptible to rust and the elements. The fenders are cheap little bendable things and the whole frame just doesn't feel sturdy. I screwed every bolt in with a friend and still somehow the gate didn't seem to close just right on both ends. This is not the trailer home depot uses for rentals that's for sure. Not happy.

Not the best $600 bucks I've ever spent in my life by far. I've tallied up four issues I've already had to deal with.

The trailer was too small once assembled and Home Depot would not allow return of product. Now I am stock until I am able to sell, which I do not believe no one wants this size. I learned the hard way.

Purchased trailer for utility purposes and does really good for the purpose.

Do not try to find axle or bearing parts anywhere on the road. These part are not avaible except by special order.

I have been in the building business for over thirty years. This trailer is just another tool, an excellent tool.I use for short trips and I use for long trips.I haul a 720 lbs. atv with it also.Anyone who doesn't give this trailer a great rating is just wrong. buy the way my son and I put it together in a little over 2 hours

Easy to put together but time consuming. Haven't had a chance to actually use it. We plan to put our motorcycle on it. Very easy to move around.

Relative ease of assembly, although still having light problems. The tailgate has a funny drop that makes it almost impossible to drive a lawn tractor on it

It was fairly easy putting it together (you could use an extra set of hands to help hold the railing in place when you tighten up the bolts, and also to flip it over when needed). I bought this to haul two 49hp gas scooters around, and it is more than strong enough. Much better than hauling them around in my pickup truck with a ramp! Well worth the money, and MAKE SURE you have it delivered to your home (worth the money!). No way I could get a 300 lb box home from the store. :) :)
