I bought two in mid summer. I have a tool box n some power tools so I'm somewhat of a handy man. It was easy to assemble. Wear gloves.Takes a lil muscle in some spots but goes together nicely, with only a screw driver. Rubber mallet is good to have for the corners.
A step ladder, power drill and a level is all you need to install. I bought my own screws.
Once you install the bracket over the door and mount the awning, it stays put. The addition of the arms stabilizes it. Neither of them budged during the last few days of winds over 50 mph here in NY. Up and down movement during strong gusts was not more than 1/4 of an inch. They're strong. That was a great test. I'm confident now they'll last.
And you dont have to rush in the door when its raining. Nice coverage.

As described. Directions were easy to follow. Easy to handle. Held up under 5" of ice covered snow two days after it was installed. Picture was taken today. Rain gutter worked very well. It wouldn't hurt to have a second hand putting it up. It provides more than enough cover for anyone waiting to enter the house in the rain.

This product is wonderful and definitely met all expectations! It’s of styles and sizes to choose from online.My husband and I installed it within one hour. We bought one over 30 years ago and found the need for another over another door and are so glad we have found something that is very sturdy, yet easy to assemble and install. Ship to store time was excellent, pick up also excellent!
We highly recommend use of this product.
