Great hammer! I needed a heavier hammer while working on vehicle suspension systems. And this 8.lb hammer gets the job done, all with a 14 inch handle...thanks nupala!

Very nice quality. This is as big as I would want in a one-handed hammer, and I am a big guy. I use it for splitting wood on a mounted log splitter, and it makes easy work of it. The handle is very comfortable and non-slip.

Its a heavy, solid, short handled beast of a hammer.

Needed a new sledge hammer, and this one filled the bill.

Oh Yes!!! This sledge hammer has a very solid feel. It made very quick work of a wheel lug removal.

The hammer has a good balance. You can use it with one hand or two. Really gets the job done.

Although my previous sledge hammer was a 4 pounder with a wood handle that I had for at least 20 years before the handle broke I settled for an 8 pounder. I am completely satisfied as can be used from sides as well as the impact ends. I managed to hone the broken wood handle of the my 4 pounder and fasten it securely but still use this 8 pounder much more frequently. I believe that this will be my last Sledge-hammer purchase until I am no longer capable of using one!

Excellent sledge, but very expensive. Time will tell if it holds-up to the pounding (:-)) to get the value for the $.

Hammer gets the job done. The handle keeps me in control of the hammer.

I actually bought this for a exercise program at my local YMCA called Shovel Glove. It was perfect, and will be buying more in the hear future.

When I received the product, it came in a box, it was well constructed. I appreciate its quality, the head is well designed, and I enjoy working with it. I use it for driving drift punches, chisels, loosening pins, and loosening metal parts. It's durable, and should last a long time.
