Use this every new season

The burner keep tripping out, start and stop. Someone thought that the Ignition transformer or Cad cell eye or Electrode is the cause. However, the oil could be the real cause. The oil treatment should be look at first when we have dirty oil filter, strainer, or dirty nozzle. Because it is a must and low cost to start with.

works really well at keep water from condensing at bottom of tank. very good additive to oil.

Every Fall I use this in my heating oil tank. Then I have an oil delivery. Works every time.

This product is great, I use it before every refill of heating oil and keeps oil Jets and filters cleaner longer. Just dump in heating oil tank and that’s it.

I have purchased this product in the past. Home Depot consistently offers a very competitive price and I also didn't pay any shipping costs. I will purchase this product in the future from Home Depot.

Did make the nozzle burn a bit cleaner with less surging on start up, but didn't eliminate surging completely.

I have been using Sludge Treat in my heating oil tank for 20+ years and the product works. I use as directed and add about 1/4 of the bottle prior to fill up. When I do my yearly tune up the filter is pretty clean, considering today's No. 2 heating oil quality. I would not recommend using in an older tank with accumulated sludge buildup as it will dislodge sludge and clog the filter and strainer on the pump. Any fuel clog will cause the heating appliance to fail. If you do wish to use be prepared to change the filter/strainer/nozzle frequently until the sludge is removed

after decades, never had a clogged fuel filter since I started using every time fuel oil is delivered.

Was told that I needed all my pipes going to my furnace repaired was going to be very costly but my oil technician told me to try sludge remover which I did I have you It may be three times last tuneup on furnace it look like it was all cleaned out with sludge This stuff works great

The product was easy to use just pour and let it do its job. Not quite sure how well it works yet but will be able to tell when it’s time for my next furnace tune up.

Furnace was shutting down from dirty fuel. This product broke down the sludge. I used more than the recommended amount because the tank had not been treated for 6 or more years.Try it and you will be amazed at the results.
