Adjustable warmth under any conditions
Whether you are at an evening sports game or catching up on those Fall chores on a crisp day, this vest by ORORO will keep you comfortable for hours. This vest is lightweight yet warm enough to wear all day even without the additional heating. Just a long press on the ORORO logo on the left breast area and vest begins to warm immediately. Press the ORORO logo again to change the vests heating level from high to medium to low; the logo changes colors to match the heating level selected. I did find that the Large size is a snug fit for my 42-inch chest even although the description states that the chest size for the Large size vest is 49-inches.

Amazing!
I picked this up on a lark and thought that it would not do much but boy, was I wrong. It is like a heated car seat and you feel it working very quickly. There is a heating element in the neck and another one in the back and they feel great, almost therapeutic. The elements in the front are located near the pockets so guess what? Heated Pockets! I let a few others at work try it and they all put it on their Christmas lists.

Keeps You Warm When Outside
Wow! This vest is amazing! I received this ORORO Men's Dark Gray 7.38-Volt Lithium-Ion Heated Vest and it is great. I have a heated hoodie from another brand that is really heavy, but this Ororo vest is not too bad. The weight comes from the battery but it is worth a little extra weight to keep warm. The vest material is lightweight but it is insulated which is enough to keep warm, even without the battery. But with the battery, it is warm. The battery and charger are included in the box. The presentation out of the box was classy. There is a nice bag to put the vest in for traveling. It will hold the vest, charger, and battery. You simply plug in the battery to the cable inside of the vest. There is a little zipper pocket that the battery sets in, and turn on the vest. The logo on the left side of the chest is where you turn it on and adjust it. Hold the logo button down for about 3 seconds for it to turn on or off. When it is on, you can adjust for low, medium, or high by simply pressing the logo. It lights up when the vest is on. Red for high, white for medium, blue for low. The heating elements are run through the jacket. It is most noticeable on the back and neck. But the bonus is, the pockets are heated. To keep your hands warm, just put them in your pockets. It's a beauty. I had a 3 hour outdoor event, in the 40 degree temp and it kept me quite warm. People did notice the lighted logo on my chest. So I had to answer alot of questions. You could say I was selling this Ororo vest to everyone. The battery life is long. For my 3 hour event time, it still had half of the battery level left. It fits true to size I ordered a large and it fit like it was supposed to. It looks great and would be a great addition to any person's wardrobe. Especially if you want to stay warm. I highly recommend vest.

Very Good Warming Vest.
The Ororo Heated Vest sold by The Home Depot works perfectly for me. The vest itself is soft, comfortable and is washable. The battery is easy to charge and this kit comes with everything you need to keep you warm. I like that I can plug the battery into a USB which makes it convenient to even charge it with my car. Winter is coming here in the Midwest, I dress in layers and so glad I have this while working outside. Good product and will definitely buy another for a family member.

I bought one of these for me and my partner. She loves hers and was an Ace as a gift. For anyone who knows someone who is often cold this is a real nice thing to have around. I find you can get about 4-5 hours out of it, if using medium or high settings. Less if using strictly high setting. You can buy additional battery packs if you really wanted to have a few around. But this is usually plenty enough for me to stay warm throughout the activity that I’m doing especially around the house or the yard or running an errand. Can take about 45 hours to fully recharge the battery. They actually give you a variety of accessories including European plug adapters which I probably won’t use anytime soon but kind of a nice gesture. They also include some branding stickers. My only gripe about the product is for the price point I would hope that the seams and zippers would be a little bit better. I feel like the inner pouch where the battery pack lives, that the zipper feels a little feeble in May not work overtime, which would cause some frustration considering that’s where the battery pack is secured. I have also trimmed some loose threads off the garment. This makes me worry about the longevity of the product. It is also machine washable which is nice and they recommend using a mesh laundry bag. Despite a few loose threads in my concerns about zippers, I really do love this fast and often use it even without the battery pack as it is quite warm. It’s really a great item to have around especially during the fall or winter in cooler climates.

I absolutely love this heated vest. I have to be out in all types of weather throughout the year and am always cold. This vest heats up instantly, remembers my last setting and cools down very quickly. I was even able to have the company logo embroidered on the right side chest. I will be looking at other heated items for the future. The only down side is the size and weight of the battery, however I'm sure I'll get used to it.

I've purchased several Ororo heated items. They do a nice job keeping me warm in cold weather. My daughter plays ice hockey and we spend most of the year in freezing ice rinks. I layer this vest on top of a sweater to stay really warm. I get a lot of compliments when people see it. I highly recommend Ororo. Fit is as expected.

Got this product Men's Large Black 7.4-Volt Lithium-Ion Lightweight Heated Vest with 5.2 Ah Battery and Charger recently. It's your basic puffy coat design. The battery attaches inside the vest on the side. There are left and right side zippered pockets on the outside. It is simple to recharge the battery and it doesn't take long to recharge. It will definitely keep you warm

Ordinarily, I would pass on something like this thinking it is a gimmick. However, this ORORO heated vest really works! It is actually very comfortable and has become one of my favorite pieces of outerwear for the Fall and Winter. I showed it to a couple of my golfing coworkers and they believe that it would be ideal for the golf course. The vest is close fitting and can be worn as a inner layer under a jacket for colder conditions. On the highest setting, you can really feel the warmth within about 10-20 seconds of turning on the vest. I like the multiple heat settings. I ran it on, "medium" for an entire afternoon at work. The charger that is included is specific to the ORORO apparel, but can be used on several of their clothing items. Charging the vest 5.2AH battery takes about 4 hours from completely depleted. You can purchase spare batteries if you wanted to change them to use on the highest setting for an extended period. I was so impressed with the vest that I ordered a set of the heated mittens to give as a Christmas gift to a friend. If they are as good as the vest, they are a sure winner. If you need something to keep you warm while walking, golfing or general outdoor activities, get one of these vests!

This vest comes in a pouch that holds the battery and charging system as well as the vest. Not sure if I will use the pouch since the vest will hang in a closet. The vest is reasonably stylish. It's your basic puffy coat design. Would be nice on a work site, fishing trip, a winter outdoor activity, or something to wear around the house or cabin. I could see me using this with or without the heating appliance. I am a 5 foot 8 inch male at 168 lbs. This large size has plenty of room for a couple of layers. I am probably at the low end of a large size. The zipper goes all the way up and hugs the neck very well. The battery is compact, charges easily, and has the standard 4 light charge indicator system. I appreciate that the compartment that houses the battery is toward the back. Out of the way if your pockets. A nice feature is the European power converters that come with the unit. The control mechanism on the left breast of the coat is easy to operate. The color indicators are convenient and easy to interpret. Red (warmest) White (warmer) and Blue (warm). I am seriously look at one of their fleece jackets as well.

I just used my ORORO Men's Large Black 7.4-Volt Lithium-Ion Lightweight Heated Vest with One 5.2 Ah Battery and Charger. It was awesome! I’m outdoors a lot and I don’t like being cold. This vest is perfect for me. First I charged up the compact battery (charger included) plug it into the vest and zipped up the battery pocket. You just press the button on the chest, wait a few minutes to warm up. It’s ready when the lighted button stops blinking, then you press the button to what heat setting you need. My wife stole it from me, I’m going to have to order another one!

Really well thought-out heated vest. The insulation is thin, for wearing under a coat or shell. You wouldn't want to wear any insulation under it, that would defeat the purpose. The large size is a little snug on me, but will work well as an under-layer. No flaws in the stitching or material. The heat is on the upper back and hand pockets, and the collar is heated, which is really great. There are three heat levels, with the controller on the chest. The slim battery pack zips into a pocket at the left hip. It is out of the way both sitting and standing, unlike some others I have tried. The battery is approximately the size and shape of a large wallet. The user manual covers everything, which is nice. The battery charges by USB-C rather than USB micro, which means you'll need to keep the USB-C cable with you, as these are not yet common. In fact, this is my first USB-C device. A charger and international adapters are included, and the whole kit comes in a zippered pouch that I can probably use for something else. The battery pack also has a USB out for other uses. This vest is ideal for all sorts of winter activities. Just put it on under your regular winter coat. I took it out yesterday biking in the cold, and I was toasty warm. In fact, when I got home, I found I had actually sweated underneath it - I need to turn the power down next time. Really pleased with this - they did the electrics right, unlike another coat I tested where the battery is in a very bad spot.

"Gadget Reviews" list the Ororo as one of their top 10 heated jackets and I see why. It's built for layer and fits me perfectly (female that always wears a men's medium). The battery attaches inside the vest on the side and does not interfere with seating, walking or a seat belt. It heats up quickly on the back, neck (neck is super nice) and belly. The battery, while small and light, packs enough punch for 2-3 hours on high and 5 hours on low. What I like - Nice unisex fit - outter pockets -great for layer - 7.4V. batteries last 5 hrs.(low), 2-3 hrs. (high). How it works - It works like an electric blanket, but via a lithium batter - batter is charged via USB charger -push button on vest powers batter on and off - LED light indicates if vest is pre-heating or on given heat setting

It's your basic puffy coat design. Would be nice on a work site, fishing trip, a winter outdoor activity, or something to wear around the house or cabin. I could see me using this with or without the heating appliance. I am a 5 foot 8 inch male at 168 lbs and this medium fits snuggly with a light shirt on. I am probably at the extreme end of a Medium size. I will probably eventually get a larger size. Even if I don't gain weight, which I might. Let's not go there. The zipper goes all the way up and hugs the neck. I like this. Heating elements are located on both sides of the upper back, the lower front and the collar. The elements in the lower front act as a hand warmer (located just inside the pockets). All of the elements are either on or off. You cannot select which elements you want on. I'm not sure why there are no elements on the lower back or chest. That would be nice. Three temperature settings allow you to pick your heat intensity. I have not worn this vest for extra long periods of time since my needs are more short term situations (3 hours and less) so I cannot comment on the actual length of the charge. I can say that during 3 hours uses, while varying the temperature setting across the board, it uses around 30-40% of the charge. The documentation suggests Red (131 F - 3.5 hrs), White (113 F - 6 hrs), Blue (100 F - 10 hrs). Based on my experience I have no reason to believe this is not true. Machine washable gentle. Hang Dry.

I love this vest!! It is very light weight and well made. The material is soft and flexible and easy to move in. It has a zipper front and two front zipper pockets and one zipper pocket inside for the battery pack. The battery doesn't weigh a lot either and it fits inside the pocket nicely. It heats up quickly and the battery lasts a good long while. It is simple to recharge the battery and it doesn't take long to recharge. It will definitely keep you warm! I can't wait till colder weather gets here so I can try it outside.
