I always have great results with Quad sealant.
But this did...

But this did not tool out at all. Not a nice smooth finish.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Tooling is not recommended when applied in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. This is not to say you cannot do this understanding that over-tooling or tooling these types of sealants too thin can lead to poor performance due to product shrinkage during the curing process. Beware the idea of "self-leveling." It did warn for professionals only, and I'm an amateur. I followed the instructions, and it's the worst bead in my amateur career of caulking. And since you can't touch it after caulking? that's it folks! I'll go back to caulk that you can tool after caulking.

Worth the extra price.
First time using this caulk. So far I was very impressed with the way the caulk flowed. Very sticky and not that easy to manipulate once it goes down so make sure you do it right the first time. Took a few days to really harden so i felt it was better to wait a few days before painting.
