tops do not fit properly 4 container were very small size, two were ok I returned since I found only 2 of the 6 sizes to be useful

Time to ditch those cheap plastic containers you bring your lunch in to work. This OXO Good Grips set is the perfect work lunch "upgrade." This 12-piece set features a nice variety of both round and rectangular dishes, perfect for storing single servings for lunch at work, or leftovers from a family dinner. The containers range in size from 4 ounces all the way up to 3.5 cups, and all have their volume embossed in the glass bottom (handy if needing to measure your portion sizes.) I really like the Snap Seal system OXO has developed for ensuring each container's lid is securely locked-- between those snap tabs and the beefy gasket, you can rest assured you won't spill a drop of your precious contents. Probably the best thing about the Good Grips set is that, as with other OXO offerings these borosilicate glass containers can go straight from freezer to oven (microwave or traditional)-- great timesaver! I could also see using the smaller containers to prepare and bake individual quiches, desserts, etc. As for washing these containers, you can easily remove the gasket from each lid for cleaning, and these constainers are also dishwasher safe. I highly recommend this Good Grips set from OXO.

This set of Good Grips offers one of the most innovate sealing systems I have ever used! The tops snap securely on the various glass pieces - no leaks, no sealing problems. The glass containers are well made and we love the option to take from the Fridge, take off the top and put in the microwave or oven and it's ready to cook. However, here's the caveat - the 12 piece set is 6 tops and 6 very small glass containers. Be sure and review the sizes so you aren't surprised: These are measured in cups size eg. 2 cup, 1 cup etc.

The OXO Good Grips 12-Piece Smart Seal Glass Container Set is a very nice set. I prefer the glass containers over the plastic ones we’ve had in the past because they heat and freeze foods much better and they don’t stain, also because of the clear glass it is much easier to see what’s inside without having to open the lid.. I also like the glass set better because it can go from freezer to microwave or oven directly. The lids snap on easily and are very secure for a no leak fit. If you do have the plastic container set the lids from the glass set are interchangeable.

You can use in in microwave , Very good quality, very thick glass and love that the green grips are removable so I can wash and prevent food from from spilling, Easy to clean and its nice air tight container with keeps the food fresh. Easy to clean since the seal is easily removed. Great design and great value. I always like the OXO brand , you can always trust this brand

We are trying to change over from plastic to glass or sustainable storage containers, have purchased ball jars and discovered they are not freezer safe.So tried the good grips system. This set has useful sizes and as our trial balloon, so to speak, it works well. I might suggest a cheat sheet from good grips for those of us who have no experience in moving to glass...simple tips. Lids are plastic, seal well with clip. Glass containers are heavy duty will take a lot of pressure, unintentional. Stack ability is good round on round, rectangle on rectangle. No mess filling or heating. We are pleased

This seems like a very nice food storage set. I noticed the glass is really clear. I think it is because it is borosilicate glass that can go from the freezer to the oven. The container sizes are on the small size. This will be good for our leftovers. The lids seem to work fine. Time will tell if they hold up. I have had other glass containers and the snap sides have broken.

This is a nice assortment of glass containers. Goes from freezer to oven or microwave. The containers are easy to clean. The lids are very secure but a bit difficult to attach. That might be why they are so secure! They do not leak when the lid is attached properly. The lids are plastic- please do NOT put them in the oven- but you can put them in the microwave with the lid resting on the top of the container. But make sure the lid is not attached when you put it in the microwave- you could have a mess inside the microwave to clean up. The clear glass containers allow you to easily see the contents. They are stackable.

I would most definitely recommend this product. A friend has some which I thought were a good idea. Now that I have my own set and have used them, I want MORE! The lids were a little tight to latch the first time around but are easier with use. Having storage that can go into the fridge, the freezer, an oven and the microwave is wonderful. I have lots of scarred tupperware from trying to microwave leftovers, not with these babies! Running them through the dishwasher is great, don't have to worry about them flipping over due to being lightweight. But best of all, I can see at a glance what is inside. All my previous storage containers had to be opened to properly identify what the mysterious brown or green blobs were, often too late. Anything that can help with refrigerator control is deeply appreciated.

First thoughts when unpacking these was the quality! OXO makes great products. The BPA-free borosilicate glass and lids are heftier, stronger then any of my other snap seal glass products. I have a few other brands of glass snap top containers but these are by far the best! The seal is thicker around the lids and there is even an indentation to get the rubber seals out which makes it easier to clean and dry after washing by hand or in the dishwasher (I always put the lids on top rack). Love the clear information they have on the bottoms of each container, it gives the ounces, it tells you they are microwave, oven, and freezer safe. They stack nicely together. Will eventually switch out all my other brands and plastic ones to this brand of containers!

Glass containers with BPA free lids, everything we were looking for. The many possibilities of freezer, oven, microwave, and dishwasher make these very versatile. Storage is easy because they stack together. The BPA free lids with removable seal make cleaning easy. The lids have a built in hinged part that snaps to the glass on all 4 sides for a secure seal. Getting the lid lined up correctly and carefully closing the snaps is important. If not lined up I worry the snaps may break off the lid. The glass is solid and should stand up to normal use. As with any glass avoid cutting as this will weaken the container.

I was looking for an extra set of food containers and saw these glass ones. They come in different sizes which is great. The lids that come with them are amazing with the way they close and seals everything in very tight. I was able to use these in the freezer and then heat them in the oven minus the lids. I have also used them in the microwave with no problem. They are also very easy to clean.

The Good Grips glass containers set is really nice the lids are easy to put on and off they fit very well. The four sizes give you a lot of options for leftovers and I love the fact that you can go right from the freezer to the microwave. I look forward to throwing out some of the stained plastic containers I have been using. The glass allows you to see what you have inside without opening it and they clean up so nice in the dishwasher. I don't advise washing the lids in the dishwasher unless they are on the top rack to keep anything from hurting the plastic lids.

I think the lids are hard to work and the color, while it looks like aqua in the picture, is really green.

The containers are sturdy and seal tight. Easily stacked. Well worth the money.

Overall all I really like these. I would not suggest it for the elderly or people with weak hands. The lids are hard to lock. They have a very tight seal once they are snapped closed.

Decided to give this set a try after husband has stained many of my plastic containers trying to heat things in the microwave. They are BPA-free borosilicate glass so the bowls can go from the freezer to the oven or microwave and then straight to the table. I like the fact that you can easily identify what is in the container since it is clear glass. The leak proof lids make them great for storing all kinds of leftovers. The lids, however, are not the easiest to use. It takes some practice and I worry about how they will hold up over time. The lock down lids take some pressure and seem to work easiest when you latch them down with two hands on opposite tabs. The bowls stack nicely inside each other for storage and the gasket is removable for easy, thorough cleaning.

I was first impressed on the packaging. It was neatly organized in order to maintain minimal damage during shipping. I am a little disappointed there wasn’t a vent valve for warming up in the microwave, but not a big deal. I was happy on how clear the glass was, no bubbles. The top of the bowls that come in contact with the rubber seals are rounded, so I’m hoping as further use I won’t see breakage like I do on other versions I own. So far, the testing of move food from the refrigerator to the oven or microwave has gone exceptionally well with no issues. I find the “nesting” ability with the glass bowls convenient for space in my cabinet. But the covers still float around. The rubber seal on the covers are large a lot easier to remove than others I own. Normally I would need to use some sort of object to help remove the rubber seal for cleaning. On these rubber seal I can remove it with my hands without help. The lids do provide a leak proof fit but would be difficult to operate for older or the very young. All in all, a great set of containers. well made, great function, good nesting for storage.

A great addition to any kitchen! Being a leftover lover, this is probably once of the smartest choices I've ever made for my food storage and cooking needs. The borosilicate glass of each of these nesting bowls is thick, and really do withstand extreme temperature changes. Over the past several weeks, I've put these containers through their paces. At first, I was hesitant, not believing I could actually take them directly from the freezer to the oven-- I envisioned a cracked bowl and splattered casserole everywhere. But the bowls honestly do hold up when going from 0-300 degrees in a matter of minutes. I love the thick, removable gasket when cleaning, and it ensures that when the four tabs on the lid are locked, there is absolutely not one drop of leakage. The lids aren't glass, but a very heavy plastic material-- great in the microwave, but don't put them in the oven. The four bowls also feature a capacity embossed in the bottom of the glass-- very handy when following a recipe. And the latches appear to be an extension of the beefy plastic on the lids. That plastic, by the way, is BPA-free-- important to a lot of consumers like me. These Good Grip containers are perfect for taking meals to work, and ideal for families who depend on secure leftover storage. Highly recommend!

I love this set of glass storage bowls, since I'm leery to put plastic in the microwave for reheating leftovers. They come in 4 handy sizes, a one cup bowl, a 2 cup bowl, a 4 cup bowl and a 7 cup bowl. The plastic lids lock down with an audible snap to ensure it is sealed, and each lid has a silicone gasket to prevent spills. The gasket can be removed for cleaning. The bowls are made of borosilicate glass, and can go from the freezer to the oven. Since they're glass, you can see what's inside at a glance, without going through a guessing game wondering what is lurking in the plastic container that got shoved to the back of the fridge, so it's easy to rotate and use up leftovers. The bowls all nest inside of each other neatly for storage. The largest lid can snap down with all the bowls nested without their lids, and the other 3 lids will have to be stored separately. The green gaskets give a nice clean look to the bowls. The lids seem strong and sturdy, and should last a long time. I have other glass bowls with plastic lids and the lids eventually ripped over time, and didn't have a leak proof seal on them, so the leak proof seals are a definite plus for me. Safe food storage, safe reheating and spill proof.

The glassware is heavy and well made. The plastic lids are also well made. The lids have four locking tabs that creates a firm seal to the glassware. The seal is so good that you can even store liuquids sideways without fear of leaking. Don't really know how the glssware is able to go from the freezer to the oven without breaking. I put it to the test. All I can say is that it works. This product does what they say it is supposed to do. I recomend this. My wife loves them.

A quality product - The containers are on the heavy side and will last a long time. The four bowls were packed into each other, I opened the box on the wrong side, and they all fell on a tiled floor and none was broken. The thickness and type of glass allows from refrigerator to microwave. The cover is very tight and has a loose flexible ring for leak proof tight seal. Overall, it is a quality made product that will last long.

These are nice presentation and size however putting the tops on are extremely difficult.

Over Engineered Lids Provide A Watertight Seal This set has a mix of small and large containers with lids for them all. The small containers are perfect for storing a little cut fruit or a condiment. The largest container can easily store the leftovers from dinner. The containers are all made with a heavy duty clear plastic that should provide several years of good service under normal conditions. They also nest nicely within each other for storage. I wish the set came with a couple more of the large and medium sized containers though. The lids on these containers are, if anything, over engineered. They snap on tightly on all four sides, and there is a silicone gasket in the lid that keeps the seal water tight. As long as the lids stay snapped down, there’s not much chance of leakage. This makes them good for use in a backpack to send lunch to school with the kids. However, the lids are my biggest problem with this container set. They do not nest, or store conveniently like the containers themselves. They have silicone gaskets that can be removed for cleaning but might also be lost or damaged. They also have snaps on all four sides to securely lock them down and this makes them a lot bigger and heavier than I think they need to be. The snaps rely on a flexible piece of plastic for a hinge, and that is going to eventually limit their lifespan as they will eventually break after repeated flexing. Overall, this is a sturdy set of containers that provide an amazing seal for the contents of the container and sometimes you just need a container that will keep the contents inside. However, I’m not sure I’d buy another set before I looked at something with a simpler style of lid for day to day use.

I have had these type of containers in the past. This set seems particularly hard to close. I had to try different lids on different bottoms and really struggle to get them closed. I felt like I was going to break the side wing. They do seal tightly so nothing will spill out. It seems like it gets a little easier with each use. There is an assortment of sizes which is good. The bases stack inside each other and the lids stack inside each other so they don't take up much storage space.
