False advertising and NOT happy!
I purchased these "solid" copper mugs online for an authentic Moscow Mule. Upon opening, they were all nickel-plated on the inside, rendering them attractive (but useless) for a true Moscow Mule.
Acid from the lime juice reacts with the "true" copper MM mugs and lends a brighter flavor to the drink. Nickel-plated does not compare.
Had to drive 40 minutes to return, as I tried to exchange for the real solid MM mugs. Nope, Home Depot does not carry and would not order. They also, apparently, insist on continued false advertising and the consumption of an inferior cocktail.
These are the perfect Mug set for entertaining. They are slick and classy and the price was good.
