This 70 tooth chain is one of the odd sizes that you need when you have older tools. This fit the 20 inch McCulloch Timber Bear perfectly where a standard 72 tooth chain was too long. Chain cuts very well.

Always a good choice with Oregon brand. Solid chain, sharp, no problems. And the value is great for the price

Arrived early and I was notified in plenty of time

I had concerns about how long my factory chain lasted before having to replace it, however I can say with certainty it lasted much longer than this Oregon chain. I put it on new and then kept track of what I cut. It cut through 16 inch limbs and trunk of a two year fallen avocado tree (three limbs at about 12 inches, and two cuts through the trunk). There was one more complex cut (relief wedge, then slice) through about an 18 inch trunk. At this point the chips were now becoming sawdust, so the blade was dulling. I then used it to cut out two 10 inch root sections off a monkeypod tree. The blade was now pretty dull. I tried, unsuccessfully to cut through a 12 inch trunk section of monkeypod, but the blade would no longer cut, and started to burn the wood rather than cut it. This does not seem to be a very good performance.

Chain came lose and happened a couple of times with the original poulan pro chain with no problems but this oragon replacement chain chipped and disfigured had to file It to fit back in the bar. Chain does cut well. Poor quality metal though Would not recommend.

It went dull quickly... I 'll get it sharpened and keep it as a back up.

It fit the saw just wish they would carry them in the stores
