Not good
This weed killer is not a killer. At first look like weeds are gonna die but they recover quickly I have applied this thing 3 times and weed are green as a lettuces.

This product is NOT systemic but kills off the top of weeds thoroughly treated at time of application. For annual weeds, especially if young, this will typically kill them. While you may see browning and yellowing with 15 minutes it may take longer for the plant to die. The product can be applied anytime weeds are actively growing, which is when temperatures are between 65°F and 85°F. To get the best results plant leaves must be thoroughly and uniformly covered with the spray solution. If the application does not cover the entire plant, the control will be less and a reapplication will be needed. The product is rainproof in 2 hours after the application dries.

Worked for Me. Look at the photos!
Was a bit skeptical if this would work here in the Houston area. It has been a WILD weed season. However, look at the photos and you can see this worked for me. I applied on a Friday afternoon and by Saturday mid-day is what you see. Will be buying more so I can spray to prevent more weeds from growing. Obviously you will need to pull the dead weeds out if you don't want them hanging there but this is a yes for me!

Second day and weeds still happy and alive
Sprayed my weeds as recommended on the bottle generously 2 days ago. And absolutely nothing is happening! It is like I sprayed them with water. I even added a bit more of the concentrate than suggested. Nothing. What a waste of time and a waste of money.

Not the right product.
Applied after reading indications. 1 g to about 20 sq ft. Seems like it acted as a fertilizer cause it didn't kill one seedling of poison oak. They are growing.

I have tried some other products that didn't work.I am so glad to find this incredible product. I love that this product is definitely complete all in one. Killer stuff!

I live in Arizona and a lot of my from yard is rock. We get lot of weeds and grass breakthrough, especially this time of year and this really helps me stay on top of it and prep for Spring and planting flowers in my beds.
I also use it in the backyard where I have grass and other flower beds.
I can always count on Ortho products to just kill the weeds I want and not the good grass.

Fast working on unwanted weeds
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Ortho groundclear a week or two ago and was just waiting for a nice day to go and try it out! Got to love the trigger wand that gets the groundclear right where you want it and not everywhere else including on yourself. Checked on the weeds after fifteen minutes and they started getting a white haze on them, so I knew I put Ortho groundclear spray right where I needed to put it. I also have some spring lillie's right next to where the weeds are and they were untouched. I checked the next day and the weeds are shriveled and brown and my spring plants are fine. Easy to Apply with Fast Results

The spray nozzle/wand of the ORTHO container is very innovated and is battery operated which made the application very simple. Results of “burn down” were seen within one day after treatment with very definitive results within three days after treatment.

Worked in 2days
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put the product down on Sunday. By Tuesday I could see a difference as shown in the pictures. I also used it to kill the weeds in my driveway, brick walkway, and rose garden. All weeds dried up and fading away. The hard, dry dirt makes it difficult to dig out weeds. One shot and done.

Bye Weeds
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kills the weeds pretty good. But this is a concentrated liquid so be sure to read the directions to mix with water. We have the plastic pump spray so it was easy to mix together & pump & spray our unwanted weeds. We sprayed our patio path brick way & in just a couple days the weeds were dead. It will kill your plants do be careful not to spray to close to the plants you don't want harmed.

This stuff works!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Ortho Ground Clear on several different areas of my property and came back about a week later to see how it did. On small areas of invasive weeds it worked remarkably well, completely destroying the weeds. On heavily weeded areas, such as the back side of a fence line, the ground clear knocked the weeds back considerably but will require one additional treatment to destroy. Probably more so because the weeds were so thick, high, and full, it was difficult to get to them to spray completely. But I am very satisfied.

Great product and value

My biggest problem is grass in weeds growing in the cracks of my sidewalks and between pavers in the back yard.

Works great
This kills everything it touches! I was careful to only apply it to weed and not my flowers or bushes. I did apply it to weeds that grow right next to flowers and bushes with success ... and without killing the other plants. The weeds shrivel up and die and do not come back. However, I have a long term weed problem and will be reapplying this to the new growth- I’m sure there is at least 1 season of reseeding I have to deal with before I eradicate the hairy bittercress colony in my garden.

Worked great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product did exactly what it said it would do. I mixed the sprayer according to directions and sprayed on various weeds or grass I couldn’t get to with normal equipment. Within 24 hours the vegetation had turned dark brown and began to die. As the days went by the vegetation completely died out. The only downside is the minimum amount they give directions for is a full gallon; of which I barely used half due to size of property. Make sure you identify a place to dispose of the unused product before you make it.

Temp Over 90...

Observations / opinions.
Well, I am sorry to say I was disappointed. But if my post is here, give them credit for being open minded.
I was surprised. Then I read some another reviews and see Ortho stated it does not work in temps over 90. Welcome to Texas Summers! Also, I only gave it a week. Looks like I will do another test in the fall and update on results.
However, I doubled the ratio (20 tsp – gal) and in 2 days it was dead! So it appears it DOES work in temp over 90 but you may have to increase the strength a bit.

Powerful Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using this product for a month, and I'm happy with the result. Before using the new product, I'm a fan of the roundup products, but the complaint was the roundup doesn't take the nutsedge.
So I was intentionally testing this product to the nutsedge. To be surprised, it worked pretty well and fast, around 3 days the nutsedge was knocked down and dying.
Pros:
powerful, works for both grassy weed and nutsedge.
Cons:
To treat a large area, you need to use this product a lot more comparing to the roundup product.

waste of money
The concentrate works great , been using it for years Doesn’t stink like round up and would kill and keep dead the Weeds you used it on. Almost every weed I sprayed with this stuff grew back a week later it’s a waste of money and ridiculous of course can’t find the consentrate in any store ! I’m guessing the consentrate works too good so they can’t make money! You can find it online though at twice the cost?!

works very well

I applied Ortho 1 Gal. Ready-to-Use Groundclear Weed and Grass Killer to a section of my yard to prepare it for a flowerbed. After application, I noticed it started working in a few hours. The grass and weeds were fully killed by morning and I was able to start clearing the area. This product has a very strong scent so you may want to wear a mask when using. However, It really works quickly and I would buy it again.

Did not work..
Weeds were sprayed thoroughly, and looked like they were going to die, but never did. Now re growing after 4 weeks. Never killed the roots. The weed in the picture was completely soaked on every leaf. Have used the grey bottle version in years past with good success. This product flat out didn't work on multiple types of weeds..
