I have ant mounds EVERYWHERE in my yard and you visually can see the ants working. I also had a colony of aints living in a hollowed out 4x4 post. I mixed 3 ounces of bug be stay in two gallons of water. I filled the hollow 4x4 post and literally stuck the end of the sprayer into the entrance holes and filled them up. Then I carpet sprayed the entire area. Three times in 1 week!! Ants still thriving in post. And all over the ground. They rebuilt the mounds I destroyed by spraying. Zero stars

I like the concentrate because it is less costly in the long run, and can be applied with a hose sprayer for the whole lawn. This stuff kills 235 insects! It can be used on lawns, around the base of the outside of the house, trees including fruit trees, and vegetables. Safe for pets and people AFTER it has dried. It does KILL BEES. Insects killed- fleas, millipedes. Midges, mosquitoes, scales, sow bugs, scorpions, termites, ticks wasps, tree hoppers, yellow jackets, white flies, crickets, ear wigs, leaf hoppers, leaf miners, over 60 beetles, caterpillars, like I said 235 bugs. Make sure to READ the DIRECTIONS for mixing and use. i have used it before and liker it.it has always been effective for me.

This concentrate works great. I actually have it mixed in two separate sprayers. I have a large backpack sprayer for outside and a smaller sprayer for inside my garage and flower beds. So far it has killed all the small moving things in the label. Ants, spiders, and mainly some small bugs. So far no mosquitos have really been seen, but it has been dry here lately. A good barrier to keep things from coming inside.

The Ortho 32 Oz Bug B Gon lawn spray is a concentrated liquid to mix with water. On the bottle customers can see the different insects it can kill and the instructions on how to measure and how to use it. I used it last week in my backyard where I have mosquitoes, ants slugs and so on. I can’t see if the insects are dead but one thing i noticed is that my dogs are not itching a lot.

This concentrate is very good when used with a sprayer. Just measure the required amount based on the sprayer size, shake, hook the sprayer up to your garden hose and simply spray away. The thirty two ounces will cover my entire front lawn with enough left over to use on the back. I have a pretty large front yard as well as a pretty large back yard.

I have been using this product twice a year and every year around the perimeter of my house to rid and prevent ants from entering my home. It is best to apply it when there are first evidence of ants on your garden lawn. On the grass areas and underneath the planters and pavements, mound of sand and soil are signs and presence of ants that are hibernating during the colder months. On the cracks, on walkways and driveways, the presence of ants are evident by sand being pushed out of the cracks by the ants. Use an Ortho spray container with the recommended amount then attached it to a garden hose. Peel off the insert or label instructions attached to the container. It is important to follow the warning and precautions when using this product especially when there are children and pets around. Not to be use indoor and anywhere without proper ventilations.

I live in a rural area and we have a lot of ants during the spring and summer months. It is still a bit early, but thought I would put down an initial spray for the critters. I really like the concentrated formula so I can use in in my sprayer to cover larger areas. Since this lasts up to 6 months, an early spraying can't hurt, but I will definitely follow up in mid-Spring or early Summer depending on how bad they get. I also like that they include instructions for the various applications (lawn, trees, flowers, etc.) and also appreciate that they marked the cap for measuring their concentrated formula for adding it to a sprayer, along with water.

Bug B-Gon by Ortho arrived solidly packaged. It is early in our season, so I can't review its effectiveness. My hope is that I will be able to replace our monthly service provider that sprays for Spiders, Moths, Mosquitos, Yellow Jackets, Ticks & Fleas. What I liked about selecting this product is it specifically states it is for use around the patio, foundation and woodpiles in addition to to the Lawn and Landscaping. the product can be used by attaching Ortho's Dial n Spray unit direct with a hose or the concentrate can be mixed in a hand held sprayer. I am going to use a handheld sprayer around the house and will use the Ortho Dial n Spray on lawn and garden areas.

ORTHO Bug Bgon is to date the only bug spray I use to keep insects out of and around my home area, it’s very effective and gets the job done. It kills the most basic home bugs like,ants,fleas, mosquitoes, ticks, and spiders, in total Bug Bgon kills up to 235 common insects that plaques our homes and gardens. Over the years I use ORTHO Bug Bgon every 6 months as instructed to keeps unwanted pests in or around my home, and to date am very pleased how Bug Bgon eliminates those nasty insects. I always buy the consecrate so if I want to make stronger to insure a bug free area around home, pool area, and my garden. I used it with my Ryobi 2gal sprayer with 1.5 to 2 fl oz per gallon of water and can get about 19-21 gallons per 32oz bottle of ORTHO Bug Bgon so very cost efficient, Bug Bgon can be used for outside your home, lawn, pool area, and your garden as a safe bug killer on vegetables gardens, melons, fruit trees, Roses, just take precautions and always wash throughly before consuming. I would absolutely recommend ORTHO Bug Bgon to anyone wanting to keep out insects out of your home, garden, lawn area with confidence.

I've used Ortho Brand almost exclusively ever since I've needed bug killers. I have not used this concentrate yet due to I haven't started getting bugs. It's still too cold but I wanted and needed it for when weather changes soon. I like the fact the 32 ounce bottle will fill my 2 gallon hand held sprayer close to 10 times according to foundation and porch use instructions (1.5 oz per gallon). Instructions for all types of spraying are included and are easy to read. I use bug killers when I see them, not as as a prevention. This states it "starts to kill immediately" therefore, I'll nail the whole colony when they appear. The lid also has a 1,2,3 oz measuring mark inside of it , so no looking for measuring spoons.

Great product, been using for years. Very easy to use and the results are great. Considering the last 10 years we have not had extreme cold to reduce bugs naturally, this is a must. During the last several years of using this product I have noticed ants one time. This kills lots of types of bugs, more than I hope to ever see. This seems like a newer bottle not sure if the ingredients changed. Every Spring and mid Summer I treat the yard. If I see activity I will spray an area again. I spray the first 10 feet from the house twice and the rest of the lawn once. I prefer the concentrate so I can mix the amount I need and apply with a pump sprayer. The concentrate makes 48 gallons. The directions are printed on the label, which is folded multiple times and depending on how or where you're using the product the mix ratio is different. Would appreciate having the mix ratio chart on the outside of the label. It's on the bottom of page 4 of the directions. I did discovery the cap is actually a measuring cup. It has both ounces and milliliters. The top edge of the cap is 4 oz. and for 3 ounces there is a line on the outside of the cap. Also, there are 3 vertical ridges inside the cap. The longest is 3 ounces, the second is 2 ounces., and the shortest is 1 oz. There also are four vertical lines inside the cap for millimeters. I use ounces so, for lawns the ratio is a maximum of 1.5 ounces per gallon of water. My sprayer is 2 gallons, I need 3 ounces, so I use the 3 ounces mark on the cap. Very easy and quick. These markings are difficult to see unless holding the cap just right. It's important to apply on a dry day with no expected rain for another day or two. Water the day before if needed. Highly recommend this product.

Ortho products have always been a yearly staple for my yard/house extermination regimen. I use this with the ready to spray bottle. I use a combo of Ortho granules, powder and sprays to cover my entire lawn and home perimeter. I also spray this into my weep holes at the bottom of my brick as well as on all the window sills exterior. I never pay for professional exterminators as I can do it myself with a variety of Ortho products and always have been satisfied.

I think I may have used this product before. My main concern is killing Cinch bugs and grub worms. Cinch bugs can destroy your lawn. I've learned from experience that you have to be proactive rather than reactive. If you wait till the lawn shows symptoms of their presents you've lost the battle. After the 1st spray you have only killed the surface bugs, by that time they have allready laid eggs an left larva in the ground which means you have to spray multiple times. to much to explain,you can google or find out on Utube the nature of the beast.

It's best to use this product on your lawn and landscape the first time you see insect activity. The concentrate makes up to 42 gallons. I am saving money using the insect killer since I don't have to have a pest control company come once a month. This concentrate works on ants, fleas, mosquitoes and ticks. It will also kill mites, wasps, termites and spiders. Check the label for a complete list. Use it on your lawn, flower and vegetable gardens. Spray around your foundation. You will be protected from spiders for six months. After spraying allow it to dry before letting people or pets on it. It has a child resistant cap. Instructions are included for using the Ortho Dial and Spray or a tank sprayer.

I have used Ortho for many years and I am very satisfied with their products. Bug B-gon kills many insects so I have no problem this will work like their other Ortho products. I will use this for the outside so I cannot try it now since it is winter. This is a concentrate so you can save a lot of money by mixing it with water. This product makes up to 42 gallons. My rating is based on other Ortho Insect control products that I have used. If I find a difference, I will update my review. This is one of the few products that shows what to turn the dial to if you are using a sprayer with a dial on it. Time to put the bottle in the garage until the Spring.

It's kind of expensive and not as powerful as I thought it would be.

I bought the spray bottle and the refill only to find out you can’t refill the spray bottle of this product. What’s the point of putting them next to each other on the shelf? Now I have a refill bottle and nothing to put it in.

Like the fact it's a concentrate so it can be used more than once. I've used it before and it works great. Will use it again in the future.

Product did not work used it to kill ants around the house , spray as directed and week later they ants were back

This seems to be most effective in reducing the number of Spotted Lantern Flies than any other. I like that I can use it in my pump sprayer I be used it for 2 seasons.

I was running low, so I went to buy more. I noticed that it came in concentrate, so I decided to pay a little more and buy it, figuring I could save more than the Ready to Spray. WRONG!!! When I got home, I found that the Ready to Spray covers 5,300 square feet while the concentrate that I paid MORE for only treats 2,666 square feet!!! Ortho says not to add water when using in a hose end sprayer. They've already watered it down so much that it's only half the strength of the ready to Spray!

Kills the bugs, use it the time a year to keep then away
