Oh I love this stuff since I was introduced in 2000. It's all I use 'in the house' for ants and water bugs etc. Meanwhile this be trippin on the price for the auto spout.

My house is in South FL so the summer and fall season are when bugs like ants and spiders start to make way into my home. My house is not only dark, but humid and warm due to my area, so it makes the perfect breeding ground. Lately, the problem has been astronomical. Spiders dwelling in about half of the corners of my floors or ceilings, and trails of ants in the kitchen constantly. Any food left out for 5 minutes will be infested in minutes- I knew I had to do something because it is basically an infestation at this point. So, I bought this product and sprayed it indoors around all the windows, doors and corners after vacuuming them away first. It did kill the pests on contact, however, the ant problem still persists in my kitchen although it DID do away with the majority of them. I want to say it has eliminated about 70% of them after 24 hours. They are still coming in, though. The 24 oz bottle lasted me about 2 uses around my entire house, half the first round and half the second round, so just know that if you plan on spraying both indoor and outdoor you might want to prepare yourself for going through the whole spray bottle in one usage or size up to the larger sizes. Ill be monitoring the pests for the next 12 months as it claims, but especially the ants in the kitchen which is my main concern. As of now though, the problem has GREATLY diminished thanks to this spray. I also wanted to note that at first, the ants SWARMED to this spray, it was pretty alarming how they loved it, but I believe they took it back to their colony and died after it being in their system for several hours because of the results. I dont expect it to work perfectly the first time because Ive had this infestation for well over 2 years, but it was finally time to put my foot down because it had become unbearably overwhelming how fast they would get to food or any crumbs. I wouldnt have a problem repeating this every month or every few months with how inexpensive it is. Overall, I am very happy.

I didn't use this right away after I purchased it. I've only used it once and the wand stopped working after one use. Waste of money. They need to remake the wand and not have the cord coiled.

Like the nozzle. Makes it easier to spray areas without a mess. Pay the extra for the nozzle.

Bought this and applied to the outside of my house on all edges, holes, crevices, door jams, window seals, etc. a few weeks ago. I was pleased with how quickly Tiger beetles started to crawl out of their holes and die. I rated the product a 3 because it did seem to work on lots of pests other than what I was targeting. I felt optimistic that this would work to help my issue with brown widow spiders, which I was/am finding by the dozen per day. However I noticed by the same evening that more brown widows had made nests on the porch, right above where I sprayed just hours earlier. I saw some responses by ortho on here to allow the pesticide 6-10 days to work on target species. However, now it has been 20+ days since I sprayed and I am still finding plenty of these spiders. The picture attached was taken just a few minutes ago. This is about the 10th one I’ve killed by hand today. All roughly the same size and all with egg sacs, meaning I will be having even more here soon.

I brought this not only did I have to qait all most a month to get and there customer service sucks no 1 never answered the phone end up calling the store, after going threw all that the stuff dobt work after a 1 or 2 I was back seeing roaches cause on the instructions it says works up to 6months to a year WRONG, I done went three half the gallon on less in 2 month, it works while its wet but after it drys about a week or so roachs was popping right back up so I have to spray at lest every 1 to 2weeks ,DONT BUY ,reviews people posting cant be right cause i not seeing what they clame to see with the spray and am a very clean person, people who live next door around me wasnt so I read reviews and friend daughter said it was good, it works but don't last long waist of money

I recently discovered that the neighborhood that I live in is heavily infested with Spotted LanternFlies I recently had purchased Ortho Home Defense Max and sprayed the perimeter of my home and noticed the next day a deceased Spotted LanternFly. I am also noticing fewer around my home.

I apply this product in my home around the doors where ants like to come in. I also spray it outside of the doors as well. It does kill most of the ants that try to come in but more ants keep making their way inside the house before they finally die after a long journey through the kitchen. The trigger makes this product easy to apply. I usually try to keep my pets and kid out of the area for a few hours while this stuff dries. Overall it did meet my expectations. I dislike the fact that dead ants are on my kitchen floor and not dead by the door. Not a big deal though.
