killed my beautiful green lawn
my lawn is almost 2300 sq ft.. and now dead with thriving weeds that did not die. I now have to spend lots of work and money to replant and water in. I used as directed but it killed my Northern Ohio grass.

destroyed lawn
please stay away from Scott's ortho product. you will wind up spending hundreds or thousands to replace or repair. it does nothing for oxalis

Visible results can be seen after 24 hours. This product takes a minimum of 3 weeks to completely control weeds. However, it has proven to be much more effective than faster-acting weed controls. Temperatures below 60 degrees or above 90 degrees may cause weeds to be dormant and slow their control. Do not water for 6 hours after application and do not apply when rain is expected for 6 hours after application. Mowing 2 days before or after application reduces the leaf surface and plant's ability to absorb the herbicide.

Nothing died!
Would love a money back guarantee on this stuff. I followed every direction and not one weed died. All of the clover, dandelions and creeping Charlie is green and thriving. Don't waste your time or money on this product!!!!

Worked!
I biught my house and the backyard was completely taken over by creeping Charlie and dandelions. Sprayed half of it one year and what a difference. You can tell in picture exactly where the divide was. Didnt kill everything but it definitely did a lot.

A Killer On The Loose
Read the reviews, mixed the Weed B Gon to exact specifications, sprayed the weeds only on my Marathon grass...killed the lawn. I think this might be a new verison of Agent Orange. They left off the warning "Not for use on any lawn."

Give it time
This product works to kill pesky Creeping Charlie. You have to be patient, it takes three or four weeks to see real results. If properly applied it will only cover half of what the label says. Browned the grass a bit, but worth it to kill pesky weeds.

Worst products ever!!!! Killed my whole lawn
I bought this Aug. 14 2021 and sprayed my yard as directed and within 48 hrs my yard looked like a desert!!!! It's horrible and the "won't hurt lawn guaranteed" is completely a huge lie. You can see the damage it cause from before and after pics

Weeds love it and grass dead
Buyers beware! ! Do not buy this product, it will cost you a painful price.We followed the instructions and only used half the bottle. Pictures can explain everything. Our grassland is now 90% dead, but the weeds are still alive.

Kills everything but the weeds. Makes lawn look like it's dead. Look in picture to see where I sprayed it.

This worked perfectly for me. Chickweed and clover had taken over a big portion of my lawn, and I decided to start with this product before moving on to more involved/expensive methods to remove it. I had read about how chickweed/clover are stubborn and difficult to remove, so I set my expectations low. Sprayed my lawn in early September (first photo), by mid September (second photo) there were huge dead spots where the weeds had been. I removed the dead weeks and planted grass, by late October (last photo), it was hard to believe this was the same yard. I highly recommend this product.

Excellent, worked flawlessly
After my lawn was taken over by oxalis this summer, I researched a number of options to rehabilitate it for the fall. I decided to try the Weed B Gon spray first (and early), since I would have time for a different treatment if it didn't work, and it didn't require a huge investment of time or money. It worked, and well. After a week, the oxalis was beginning to turn white, as other reviewers said, and after about two weeks, my lawn looked absolutely terrible (which was ideal, since it was all dead oxalis). I raked up all of the dead weeds, had my lawn core aerated and planted new grass/overseeded 20 days after spraying the Weed B Gon. Seven weeks after spraying, my lawn is unrecognizable from before. I would highly recommend this product to anyone experiencing an issue with oxalis in their lawn.

So far I have mixed and used one batch of this concentrate, with minimal success. In an effort to help it achieve some results, I have slightly, increased the mixing ratio. Still, results are poor. It is killing some weeds while others, of the same type, are seemingly unaffected. I am using this from a pump sprayer so I know the weeds are being hit and well soaked with the mix. Since it is having some success on weeds the regular Weed-B-Gone doesn't, I probably will continue using it, until I find something better.

Poor Results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Put this on 1/2 my backyard 3 weeks ago. The weeds are doing fine, but the grass is dying - only in the 1/2 that was treated. This did not work at all on my weeds, and my grass is pretty much dead on the part that was sprayed. Not the outcome that I expected at all! The untreated 1/2 of the yard is all green and all doing well, both weeds and grass. Neither looks good :-(

I used this product to kills weeds in several areas of my lawn. Not only did this product kill the weeds, but it also killed all the surrounding grass. I was horrified as I maintain a manicured lawn. Now I have to re-seed. Not right!

Fast Results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was mowing my yard just getting the work done. I'm cool with that as I like my yard work. Then I spot a clover patch. Not cool. I sprayed it with Ortho® Weed B Gone Chickweed, Clover & Oxalis Killer For Lawns Ready-To-Spray. That was on Saturday. Today is Tuesday. Here in west central Ohio we have had hot days with rain. The grass grew at least 2 inches.
I finished mowing today and went out to the spot where the clover patch was. I cannot find it. The dang this is gone. Yeah, I know. The grass grew. I mowed it again. You would think I could at least find the remnants. I am here to tell you it is gone. Unreal. I attached a "before" pic. The plan was to include an after pic. I reckon no sense since I can't see the dang clover anymore. :)

I use this to fight the Creeping Charlie my neighbors keep giving me(I hate that little purple clove thing) . This is the only thing that's been working. I use it A LOT, like ever 5 days. I've been letting my grass stay long so the creeping Charlie doesn't get alot of sun. Bottom line... this stuff works!

Very Good Results With This Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied this Product to our back yard and another product to my front and side yards. I liked the lower pressure wide spray pattern, it made even application very easy. In 3 days we noticed a variety of weeds edges turning light and starting to wilt over. After 10 days we have drooping brown weeds everywhere I had sprayed. only one type weed is slower to react and taking longer but it appears to be dying off like all the others.

Finally a product that worked!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally I found a product that would work n the creeping Charlie and other annoying weeds in my lawn! I have used several different products over the years and was skeptical that this product would work but after one application I began to see results in only 4 days! I used the concentrate of the Weed Be Gon in a hand sprayer as a follow up to the spots that might have needed a second application instead of treating the whole lawn again which was cost effective as well. This product was easy to use and after the initial treatment to kill off the weds I will follow up with a lawn food in a few weeks to build up the growth in the lawn - looking forward to a lush green wed free lawn this summer!

Kills Wild Violet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied this product as specified in the directions on a test area of my lawn. I do not have too many weeds, however Wild Violet is the one of the most stubborn lawn weeds I have. I applied it and left for vacation, no watering in the meantime. I returned about a week later and found the leaves starting to show signs of the product working. I recently reapplied and expect to see the progression to certain death that the filthy Wild Violet deserves.
I found that other products, although offer rather quicker results tend to take a toll on the surrounding grass. I'm happy to reapply.
