We loved it and was a gift. But, the oven doors hinge started to bend after a year. I fixed it so it kind of worked but it wasn't a complete seal. Then eventually after time the hinge could no longer conform and broke off. Very disappointing.

I just got this, when I plugged it in I noticed the entire bottom row of the digital lights did not work, hope the rest is put together better than the lighting system.

I did a lot of research before choosing this brand and model. I wanted a digital toaster oven that also had a large interior, but didn't take up a lot of room on the counter. This is large enough to fit a regular round size frozen pizza (12"?) and is wide enough to accommodate a 9x13 metal pan (9x13 pans with handles will not fit). The unit is about the size of a countertop microwave. It heats up fast and is great for cooking small meals for 1 or 2 people. Would highly recommend.

Researched toaster ovens in my price range and features. This was Consumers Report "Best Buy" model pick. But when I started using it I encountered some issues with it. The main issue is that the removable crumb tray does not seal completely to retain the heat (see photo below, you can see the oven light through the crumb tray). When I preheated the oven to bake, after 15 min the oven was very hot outside and that's when I notice a lot of the heat being released from the crumb tray gap. The other issues are that the keypad buttons are not touch sensitive so you have to press very hard causing the oven to slide back every time. The words on the digital display that come up in red are very tiny. Last, it has no independent timer function, it can only be used when baking. I had one on my last toaster oven (different brand) and it came in very handy. Sadly returning it and going back to my research for a more functioning toaster.

I just received my unit yesterday, although I have several years experience with this model. Where I used to live we had this model and I loved it! Having moved, I wasn't able to take it with me so I got myself a new one. This oven is very good on temperature and I love the fact that this oven will shutoff with the timer. In case you are busy doing something else and you don't hear the timer go off, you will be confident in knowing that your food isn't burning! Love this toaster oven!! Highly recommend!

You can cook anything in this oven. I don't even use my full size oven, except for large pizza's. Saves time,money and is more convenient. Defiantly a single persons oven. PS: Throw away that conventional Toaster away, No competition hands down.

Love this oven, model TSSTTVMNDG 1300 W, Bought it based on reviews. I do not have the owners manual. I am confused about the bake and broil options. When I select Bake both sets of heating elements come on , bake(lower) and broil(upper). The only difference between the two settings( bake/broil) is that you can’t adjust the temp on the broil setting. When cooking a frozen pizza I don’t want to broil it. So how do I get the bake elements on without the broil elements on?? This is very disappointing and frustrating for such a nice oven. Otherwise it’s a great oven. Unless I take it apart and disconnect the broiler elements I will have to buy another brand, since there doesn’t seem to be a way to get the bake elements on without the broiler elements on. In my opinion this is very dysfunctional. This is not how large conventional ovens or other countertop ovens that I have have work. So what are my options??

Really liked this oven, but the start button failed within the first 9 months. Very disappointed.

Was a great oven until the touch panel quit working. Had for about a month. Oster was a great brand until we got let down. Got tired of buying these ovens since money is tight and we live in a studio apartment so decided on oster and yet again have to buy another. Can't get to anyone that will help when calling and the store won't take it back. Buy at ur own risk. Maybe someone else will have luck but we didn't. If can't get fixed will probably go with a different brand.

I have had this oven for a little over a year. I bought it because my big oven started acting squirrelly and I thought I needed a backup oven. I hardly use my big oven any more, this little thing does the trick and is very reliable. I highly recommend it, thanks Oster for making a great product!

I have been using this for over a week now and love it (so far).Toasts very nice. Baked and Broiled good & held Temp.. Outside does not get overly hot. Love the light and that it shuts off with the timer then beeps for a while. The door actually closes on both sides.

I had mine working perfectly for just over a year and suddenly 3 of the control buttons do not work... one of them is the start bottom, so it's totally useless.

Had this oven many years . Use it daily, Use the large range oven less than 10 times a year. Even cooking , no hotspots. Will gift my daughters this Christmas. Cleans easily and stays clean longer. A kitchen star of appliances.

I love this countertop oven. It would have been given 5 stars except the digital display. I have had the oven 2 years. The digital display is already missing parts of 3 numbers. I have always loved Oster products, their quality and reliability. This was not an inexpensive oven and expected it to last more than 2 years without problems. I would recommend with this warning.

We wanted to get away from using microwave and go this oven. We felt it was a great oven, but it only lasted 7 months. The touch pad just stopped working. I wish I would have read the reviews before buying.

I just rec'd the toaster oven today and tried to make dinner with it, was disappointed that baking temperature cannot be adjusted to where I needed it to be. Temperature goes in 25 degree increments, which is not user friendly for me. I love the design and that it's Black. Will be returning it and going back to Black & Decker Toaster Oven where I can set baking temperature at 5 degree increments. Product seems well made, but because baking temperature cannot be adjusted in 5 degree increments it's useless to me. Plug in cord is TOO SHORT.

This oven heats quickly, doesn't get unreasonably hot on the outside, is easy to clean, large enough to fit most of a small household's baking needs, and does a good job cooking most items. Convection function cuts baking time by about a third. It would be nice if the display were larger and the "finished" signal were louder. The only quality issue I've had is one of the little silicone glass door bumpers falling off and going missing.

I bought this model several years ago and it has been very reliable. I use it on a regular basis, mostly to keep from turning on my gas wall oven in the summer. This Oster is a real workhorse and I have made cakes, pies, casseroles, cinnamon toast, frozen pizza, etc. I had to use it (and my microwave) to cook Thanksgiving dinner in when my built-in oven stopped working just before the holidays. I am getting ready to buy a second Oster just like it to keep in reserve! I would not want to be without it.

I love this toaster oven. It really holds a 12" pizza. The Papa Murphy pizza is delicious when baked in this toaster oven. I have cooked cookies in it a day they come out perfect, bread sticks. The light is very handy and I like that I can turn the light on after it turns off. It does excellent at reheating pizza on the warm cycle. I was sorry to discover this toaster oven was discontinued. My daughter has had the same one for three years and it still works like new. I was very disappointed to discover that it is discontinued.

I have had this a few years and I love it, the only problem is the wires inside are not connected well and overheat so the bottom rack becomes brittle and I had to replace the wire connector twice. Seems like a silly problem but very frustrating. Been a great toaster oven though we love the design and the digital controls.

purchased this toaster oven a 3-5 years ago, great oven, used it on a daily basis, was pretty noisy but the cooking was awesome, until the heating element went out. not another one in stock bought a larger oster and it already is going out

I just bought this oven for my RV, it cooks like a normal gas oven... Everything comes out perfect! just like my home oven. I did go out and buy Steel cookware to use in this oven, Steel baking sheet, Caserole pan, and cookie sheet. I found these steel instead of aluminum works well as the heat cooks evenly.... I found the bakeware to fit perfect from Home Goods... The 9X13 pan fits perfect as long as there are no side handles

I bought this toaster oven when I moved out in my own because it cook a pizza. I love everything about it. I use it at least 5 or more times a week. When I got married my husband had never used one, but now we use it for most everything. I have cooked and warmed up pizza, fish, fries, tortillas, bread, muffins, biscuits, chicken, and many other things. When it does finally kick the bucket I will be sad.

Bought this a couple months ago and it’s never worked correctly. It shuts off at random times - and we do not use the timer.

We've had this Oster countertop convection oven for several years and had never really tapped its potential until we were without a standard stove for three months while doing a kitchen remodel. After a few weeks of feeling deprived and eating only microwaveable frozen burritos and entrees, I decided to try baking a pan of brownies in the Oster--they turned out perfectly! The next day I made masa cornbread, also with perfect results. Soon followed more brownies, banana bread, and even quiche! We had been using it for frozen chicken nuggets, tater tots, etc., but now we were really cooking! I can't believe I missed so many opportunities to bake with the Oster when our standard oven was in use, especially on holidays! It will be an integral part of our kitchen arsenal from now on--highly recommended!

I bought this a few months ago but did not use the toast feature since I have a toaster which is easier. I read the directions for toast. After arranging food, closing door, & pushing toast, the manual states to use +/- keys to select toast shade. It does NOT state which set of +/- controls to use, timer or temp. It stated that the time was automatically set based on shade selection so I used temp controls. No matter what I set it to, the toast was always set to light and the shade key kept blinking. So I tried it using the timer controls. Same result. So either this unit is not functioning or the directions are not correct. As far as I know bake & convection bake worked. I didn’t try other settings.

I loved my ten year old Oster Countertop and then it died. So, with brand quality in mind I went and bought a new large digital one. What a joke. As I write this I'm trying to bake a potato at 450*. Well, it took 30 minutes for it to warm-up to 400* and it's never made it to 450*. Obviously it's not a product that you can work with and any confidence that the food will be done when you plan for it to be done.

Love this oven and the interior light. I gave it 4 stars when I'd love to give it 5. However, the toaster feature ALWAYS starts on #3 and I ALWAYS have to hit the buttons to knock it down to #1. I wish this oven would stay at the toaster selection you choose unless you bump it to a different number. It's a pain in the butt everyday to knock it down two buttons.

Received as a gift Jan. 2019. Keypad very difficult to use. Stop function did not work 99% of the time, had to unplug unit if I wanted to discontinue cooking cycle. Noticed in old reviews that someone had the same problem 5 years ago, guess nothing was ever done to address problem.
