I love that it folds. It looks pretty. The bottom area sits low, a low profile umbrella stand is needed, but can not use its post. The lower hole is too small for it. I will use the screw included with the table to secure the umbrella. I felt a stand is needed to weight the umbrella & table down & to prevent the umbrella from scratching the deck.I do love this table, would have given it a 5. No stand in the pictures of what can be bought with the table. That should have been my first clue.

Great table, however after only 2 weeks and very minimal use the center (main) part of the table has begun splitting. If this had not occurred I would have given it a 5 star review. Ordering, shipping and pick-up were all a positive experience. I hope to hear back from Home Depot or Manufacturer resolution.

Absolutely love this table. It looks so beautiful and can be made into a table for 2 or 4. The only con is that the table is higher than most outdoor tables and so does not do well with chairs that do not go with it. My husband is going to trim the legs down so we can continue to use our previous patio chairs.

Just received this for our screened porch. Pleased with the table. Like the versatility of both leafs closed, stored, for more room or both open to entertain four people or will be left most of the time with one leaf up for the two of us to use. Plan on getting the matching stackable chairs next... Not sure I would use it outside. Glad it will be under a roof.

The table is beautiful, and I checked it before I left the store: there were no splits or cracks in the wood, as some reviewers had issues with. It holds a patio umbrella just fine: I bought a $6 umbrella sleeve for the top and bottom to keep the umbrella from rubbing against the wood. It doesn’t need an umbrella base, though I never leave my patio umbrellas open on windy days anyway. It is completely stable as well. I look forward to being able to fold and store it and keep it protected when the weather changes. I am very pleased with this purchase! Other stores carried it, but the shipping costs made Home Depot the best deal, and I know they stand by their products!

Garbage! The finger joints are exploding, and the stain finish is wearing through. All this after less than 1 month. You get what you pay for.

Table arrived in good condition. Looking forward to using it this summer. Very happy it folds as we need to store it during the winter.

Good quality wood. Being a woodworker I'm critical of design and fabrication but for the price it was well made and so far is standing up to the rain. I sprayed it with Thompsons water seal and the water beads right up. But I suggest buying a cover just to be safe.

I’ve looking table. But it isn’t very sturdy.

It is a little tall for a 17 inch chair and so far I haven’t found a taller chair that is comfortable yet !

Very solid construction, easy to get set up and although some don't like the idea of having to screw the gate legs to the table I find it makes it more stable and then come winter (northeast) I can just unscrew and fold it down. I don't think this would be a good everyday folding type table, seems to work better as a set it up and break it down for the season type. Color and look are really nice and it's a good buy for the money. My only criticism is the recommendatioin for treating with boiled linseed oil, I would suggest a teak oil or something less dangerous - I had no idea the drying rags from linseed oil heat as they dry and almost burned down my garage. Blaming the instructions that come with the table, next time will just use a good teak oil.

Love the structure and the finish. I expected kinda portable but it is not. Half-permanent foldable table. But sturdy and looks great. Still oiling with tung oil.

Nice table. I love that it folds for easy storage. It is light weight so wouldn't leave it out in windy weather but meets our needs perfectly. We oiled it with linseed oil and it looks way more expensive than it was.

Build quality is excellent with attention to detail. Look forward to many years of use.

Like other reviews noted, the table came with a split in the wood already starting. I question the longevity but the price was right. I like the drop leaf aspect for storage.

The finishing is not smooth. lots of splinter edges. poorly made. Keeping it anyways coz we will use it occasionally for parties in the backyard covered up with table cloth. Love that it can be stored away.
