I just started to install in the attic. It's about 25% done. I have to wait to experience its performance. It seems to be good.

Easy to work with, perfect warmth!

Hi: I think it is a great asset for someone like myself building a new home, however it is grossley overpriced even with my 10% coupon. Low income Seniors like myself (83 yrs young) should get some sort of a price break to encourage cutting energy consumption. I need about another 20 % of what I have already purchased from home depot but I am forced right now to accept a lesser R value to finish insulating. I wish there was someway I could get financial help to finish my project as planned.

The R-38 EcoTouch meets our Green Building requirements and is easy to install, with the Kraft Facing. There were some small tears in the facing and incorrect folds, but otherwise the quality is good. I recommend the product for some extra attic R-value in California.

Everything worked good A++++++

Order and delivery went well, however product has varying quality. In each pack of 8 batts, there has been one that is too narrow and has the top half of the pink insulation sliced away. In effect, these batts are wasted, as they don't fit well into a standard 16" bay. Otherwise, it's, you know, good 'ol pink insulation.

I'm not sure why this is so much cheaper than the others. This is the best money I've ever spent. My upstairs stays cool much longer. Previously, on super hot days, the upstairs AC could not keep the temperature down. I've monitor the temperature daily and the upstairs stays cool until 3pm or 4pm. Prior I would have to start cooler the upstairs starting around 5pm. Now, I can wait to 7pm to cool it before bed.

Wish that they would add a sort of paper or plastic spacer. Peeling the folded sections apart is annoying when them blend in at times. I pulled a layer off from the other side of the strip a few times because i couldnt tell where the fold was. Simple fix to an annoying packaging problem. Other than that it was ok.

This insulation has made a difference in how long my A/C must run. I should have installed it years ago. Very happy.

Works great for me. Used under a sub floor where it fit well and cut down on sound as well as insulates.
