Can’t live without them. They hold a 12’, 7/16 thick, James Hardie siding board with a 6” reveal. I highly recommend.

This made siding a garage we built super easy. I’m a 5’2” female and could work on it by myself with even full length 12’ planks of hardy board while my husband was at work.

bought these cause you cannot hire any good help now a-days! these are GREAT-wish I had thought of them! easily adjustable to the lap you want. two clips hold a 12' Hardi plank with ease. did a 22x20 & 9x9 addition plus a 24x24 garage and they hardly show any wear.

you would be foolish to side without using these gauges. I'm not sure what professionals use, but for a homeowner working on a shed or the house on the weekends this is a must have product. You can easily hang siding with one person. very easy to use - kept siding level and spaced correctly.

I didn't really want to spend the money on this tool. However, once I started using them, I realized I could not have hung the Hardie planks without them. They are easy to use & helped me to install perfectly level siding. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

If you are doing an installation of James Hardie HardiePlank Lap Siding, you need this tool. No questions asked. Just keep in mind the following: 1 - Even though the pic shows only one device, it is actually a pair 2 - Make sure you buy the correct tool for the type of lap siding you are going to do; Call the Gecko company if you are not sure 3 - Don't assume this tool will not require you to properly ensure each piece of lap siding is perfectly level (though it is pretty spot on) If you work for Home Depot, please: a - Update the image on the website b - Place these things in the store near the siding and you might actually sell more lap siding c - Place the James Hardie trim near the lap siding. This is a no brainer.

These siding gauges are a must for anyone planning on residing a home. If your a DIYer and need to work alone, they are essential to a great finished job. If you have a helper, they will definitely speed up the job by letting someone do other tasks other than holding each piece of siding level while another person nails it. These siding gauges are awesome. I resided an entire 2800sft Tri Level by myself. All the siding boards came out inline and level all the way up and around the windows and doors. I even had a neighbor come by and offer me a siding job!

Works pretty much as advertized. Takes a little practice to get the lock down correct.

If you are hanging siding, you have to have this tool. I was installing James Hardie boards and these tools make it so much easier than measuring and leveling and holding. Just lock them on and slide the board in. Worked perfect every time.

This product made the siding installation much easier. Wish it were cheaper but it was well worth it for the time saved.

Where were these amazing jigs 30 years ago? Well worth the investment and will pay for themselves with their first use.

Excellent tool, just pay attention they are set correctly and do not slip. I know of no other way to hang Hardi Plank siding by yourself.

Excellent tool for siding spacing. I was able to attach 12 foot siding alone using these tools.

Worth the price as each board is perfectly spaced and you can easily do the job alone after your first board is installed.

A great tool for installing Hardie plank siding. This tool doesn't well with wood siding. I would recommend this
