You have to open the package and register your kit on line. The link to register the kit doesn't work. I then called the company, could not speak to a person and had to leave a message. No one ever called back. I would not buy this product.

  • Very Poor service, don't buy.
  • March 04, 2014

Its been over almost 3 weeks and still no report back. I contacted them numerous times on the phone, most of the time my call went into voice mail. No one ever called back. I finally got someone to answer only to have them say it wasn't done yet and to call back in a couple of days. I could have walked it to a lab and got results by now. My remodeling job is on hold. Don't bother dealing with this kit.

Cons Too Slow, 3 weeks later no results

  • Terrible customer service
  • August 06, 2015

I sent my sample in over 6 weeks ago and I have not gotten any letter/test results back yet, but that didn't stop them from charging me 40 bucks, I tried to register my sample online, but their website doesn't even work for that purpose. This does not appear to be a trustworthy or reliable lab, I wouldn't waste my time. You are better off finding a local lab for the testing, results are usually done in one week. Anyone have their website or phone number, although it sounds like they don't really answer emails, voicemails, or calls. Home Depot, you need to check into this situation pronto.

Not bad. I had my basement ceiling tiles tested with the kit. The description promises results in five days; it took closer to two weeks to get results back. Result percentages are "visually estimated by volume". At least it's some peace of mind for $40.

I had no problem with producing the sample per directions provided. I sent in the sample along with a check for the full amount required in the provided envelope. I was supposed to hear from them in seven days. It's been over a month, and I have yet to hear from them.

  • Home Depot purchase was a breeze. LabPro, on the other hand, leaves a lot to be desired

Home Depot purchase was a breeze. LabPro, on the other hand, leaves a lot to be desired Almost impossible to get in contact with them. Their website is very weak in working functions. Promised results by way of email message and still waiting. I would more than likely not use them again

PRO LABS cashed my additional check for $ 40 , but never sent the results. It has been well over 2 weeks now and the results were supposed to be sent to me within 5 days. I will change this review if I am ever able to get the test results. I have sent a request to Home Depot for help but nothing yet.

The kit was ridiculous. I waited several days for the kit to arrive me while my construction came to a halt. When the kit arrived it was a plastic glove is Ziploc bag and a preaddressed of elope. This was all made up to make money. They could’ve provided the address for the laboratory and I could’ve

Note that this says on the package "$40.00 Lab Analysis ". This kit is only the envelope to mail your swatch in. Given that you still have to pay $40 for the actual analysis I think $8 for an envelope is priced too high.
