I was hesitant to buy because I saw some bad reviews but we had a great experience. You buy the kit, follow instructions on collecting the water, send it the lab for an additional 40 dollars which is detailed in the description. Within 2 weeks we had the results emailed to us. Luckily our water tested negative for lead and we are satisfied with the service.

It will test your water I think. I'm still waiting for results. but you need to take a smaple mail it out and then wait and let me add pay an additional 40 bucks. Or 60 if you want it expidited. So I'm sure this in unavoidable but just a heads up.

Only does lead and requires a $40 mail in test to use. Do not buy this, there are plenty of cheaper tests that test for many things.

Collecting the water sample and sending it in for analysis was simple and easy and I got the rest results back in a timely manner.

Good product. The only thing is that it does not actually ship overnight and it takes a while to get results.

Took a while and you have to collect a very specific sample. But is critical to get professional rating if worried about Lead. They let you know when they receive sample and when to expect report. Is usable for loan refinance etc.

Pro-Lab's Lead-in Water Test Kit worked well for me. Anyone getting should realize that the kit does not analyze the water. The sample is sent to Pro-Lab for testing and this costs $40. This is reasonable.

I was looking for a test with test strips but this has to be sent to a lab and we pay $40, on top of what was already spent on the test kit

It took time but my water passed the test with very very low lead content.

I cannot comment on the customer service yet but I don't get how people can complain about the $40 charge for the lab analysis. Seriously, first read the description. It clearly says it. Also use your common sense and think about that someone need to run a lab, pay people to do the work there. It's kind of a NO-BRAINER that a lab test does not cost only $10!.

Yes provide the report on time

Easy to test, but did not know how much pressure to apply and busted one of the test tubes. Overall, it did the job in very simple steps.

So sad. We are all concerned about lead in our water in SD; as it affects many of our schools and local communities. And here comes Pro-Lab, with there bogus price - And than adds $30 to actually test your sample. Shame on Home Depot for promoting it.

Got the results quickly and happy with the results. Will do the whole house test next. This was a test.
