The honeysuckle plant itself (this is the vine type of honeysuckle, by the way, NOT the bush type) was in excellent condition, by far the most beautiful and healthiest looking plant I've ever bought online or by mail order. I received and planted it a month ago, and it's already blooming and starting to reach out for new things to climb on. I love it.
There are two fairly serious problems, though, that aren't related to the plant itself. The plant came with NO instructions, of any kind, anywhere. No instructions about how to plant it, how to care for it in case it can't be planted immediately... nothing. Not a word. Not even any clue how to get it out of the rather intricate packaging that protected the plant fairly well but did not keep the soil from dispersing throughout the box when UPS ignored the prominent THIS END UP arrows.
The three plants I ordered arrived stacked on top of each other with all their arrows pointing at my neighbor's house. All three plants were in beautiful condition, though, so it mainly just made a mess when I unpacked them and potting soil went flying everywhere.
