Handy helper against dusty/old ducts
I’ve used for years in my condo. The a/c ducts are in the ceiling, 40 yrs old and a lot of dust comes out with the air. Theses have really helped have less dust collecting on the furniture. I change mine every 30 days and the are really dirty. I don’t notice any change in the airflow or temp of the air when using these.

They do seem to increase resistance in the air flow....
They do seem to increase resistance in the air flow. we had a register that was not secured in the opening, and when the heater came on the added resistance pushed the register out of the duct. I havn't had them installed long enough to indicate if they help with filtration/.
