Overall the installation was fairly easy but had a little difficulty installing the roof panels.

I see in a couple of reviews that putting two of these together leaves a 1/2” gap between, I realize the instructions have you put the end caps on before you start assembly but leaving these off where they join together eliminates that gap and they fit tight together, a little silicon in the joint on the top will take care of any drips in between.

Well designed,and works well.had to lower it a bit but it still only took 2 of us about 6hrs to assemble.

very well made and at a good price

This was easy to install, looks great and is quiet when it rains. Cooled the area by 10 degrees and lets the light in.

We would have given it a 5 of 5 but the panels shrink after 4 years leaving a 1/4" gap.

Need a friend to help set up, but if you follow the directions will finish in about 4-5 hours

Comes well packed, no broken or loose parts. Was very easy to install with 2 people. Has already been very stable in 35 mph winds. Lets light through but is cooler even when sun shines directly on it.

It was fairly easy for experienced handyman to assemble with a helper. We did purchase longer screws for extra security.

Product only came with cement anchors for the building wall. Instructions said I needed a different mounting kit. Took 1.5 weeks and two emails for someone to respond- “can get hardware at local hardware store”. First, respond quicker. Second, put that in your instructions. Would have saved a lot of time.

Love the product. We’re we’re able to customize it enough to fit in our spaces. Only little challenge was a few of the panels had creases in them when delivered. But we were mostly able to hide them based on location when installing it.

Very simple to assemble. Instructions are easy to read. I love it

It is fabulous, looks great just as advertised. Installation was quick. Would buy again if I had a need for another one. Highly recommend.

Two seniors were able to follow the directions & put this together.

We put this awning on my 39ft destination travel trailer that is permanently situated and we love its modern look. Perfect protection from the sun and it still lets the light through enough that the interior is not too dark like with the old roll out vinyl awning. It took three of us a day and a half to complete the project. This Palram awning is well engineered and went together pretty easy. Definitely recommend this product.

The cover quality is excellent, but don’t buy it in Home Depot. I was waiting for it more than a month. The Home Depot delivery department is the worst that I know.

First it did not arrived at the date that was indicated. Could not initiate instalation as it woukd not witstand Florida winds

Purchased after reading all the reviews. We live in the south so snow load is not a problem. My husband would prefer more written directions as we ordered the 10 x 20 which is 2 of 10 x 10. We did need to shorten the legs a bit and did put a header up before attaching to the side of the house. I will say it took a good full day for the 2 of us. Hardest part was attaching the gutter as 20 foot is quite long and you have to get the bolts thru the holes. We are very happy over all with the purchase and the temperature difference is amazing when under it. The patio door and living room windows are covered by this and the panels let thru enough light so the rooms are not dark at all. Looking forward to screening it in.

This was an excellent purchase - I am using this for a patio cover in my backyard against the house. I assembled the awning in about 12-14 hours over a couple days, taking my time and getting it right. I had help from my wife and teenage kids only a few times, mainly to hold up large pieces during assembly.My biggest concern with the installation was how to bolt to the house (I have vinyl siding) and how to bolt down (concrete pad.) I ended up just bolting straight through the siding into the house wall studs using the lag bolts provided (obviously didn't need the concrete anchors.) Then for bolting down to the pad, I rented a hammer drill for the anchor holes.It has worked out wonderfully so far. The awning has been up for a couple weeks now and it looks beautiful & is well secured - we've had a couple very windy days and it hasn't moved. It has rained a lot as well and no leaks - we are very happy with this purchase!
