Really nice carport quality and directions were easy to follow. With a little ingenuity I was even able to build it myself. Mounted the post and bases to pressure treated wood to stand alone and make sure completely level before pouring concrete. When I got to the last panel for the roof, it had been damaged during shipping on the bottom of the 3rd box. Leeor at Palram was super to work with to get a replacement. Really a great company, product, and customer service. I would buy this product again!!!!

This is a great design and looks wonderful! It was a problem for us to level because we live in Oregon and built a house last year and the ground all around is uneven, so we put 12 inch Sonotube in the ground and made that our base, then leveled everything. Putting it together took 3 of us and 2 days! But it was worth it!

Was an easy instill. I only need help standing up the walls and installing the roof arches. I raised and bolted it to cement blocks that were bolted to the driveway to give it a little more height. We like the way it looks!

Great product, easy to install. I purchased two kits to cover the length of my boat and fabricated a giant pop-up like system using 9' steel outer posts allowing me to raise and lower the entire roof system to various heights. My wife and I ended up liking the quality and look of these so much we are now considering buying another one to cover our hot tub.

Very easy to assemble, clear and easy to follow instructions, very well designed , Precisely drilled & machined parts made it feel like I was building a life size erector set! This project was one of the most satisfying in many years. I wanted to note that I needed an answer for a question, so I called the number listed on the website. The lady was very helpful and professional. The project receives many compliments

I haven't quite finished it, but it fits the patio with two legs in the yard. The illustrations in the manual are very good, but the text was a bit confusing in places.

This Palram carport is probably the nicest pre-engineered item we have ever bought. It is built very very sturdy and all parts fit together perfectly. Fasteners are of high quality and the finish of the parts and powder coated paint is beautiful and thick. This item was delivered in a Estes Freight semi trailer and Estes shipping company is really great. Their driver moved the carport which was on a large pallet right up our driveway and set it near the garage door. The carport arrived with no damage what so ever to the boxes and all the parts to assemble and mount the carport to concrete slab were included. In the Home depot advertisement we wondered about the polycarbonate roof panels, but after actually seeing them we think they are are just super. So we couldn't be happier with this purchase are thinking of buying another.

The product itself rates 5 stars. Pieces fit together nicely, and the finish is very nice. Love it. However I withheld one star for lack of customer service. I contacted the 800 number provided, the person on the phone was unable to answer my question which had to do with specific measurements and the footers. She stated that she would email answers but it would take a few days. I then emailed the questions to the European office of Palram but my email was never answered from either contact. The assembly manual is very good, you follow illustrations only without text. A frequently asked question section on the web would have been nice and would have most likely answered my (unanswered) questions. Suggestion, the little plastic bolt caps fail to lock on in many cases so I added a very small dab of 3M auto weatherstripping adhesive which held perfectly. Assembly time: The footers took one day since we needed to wait for them to set before proceeding. The structure itself with 2 guys took around 8 hours. Be sure to walk all the way through the instruction manual before starting, maybe even a couple of times.

I purchased two Palram Arcadia... and I followed the instructions as shown so the first went slow but not difficult. By the time I installed the second one; a piece of cake.... easy, fast and completed in no time at all. Also, wanted to mentioned the LOOK is Architecturally pleasing!

Patio Cover with modifications
I wanted an aluminum patio cover that was rated for snow. I had specific measurements that I needed and this fit like a glove. The quality would have gotten an excellent rating if the posts were a heavier gauge material. I had to replace them to fit my application, so it didn't affect my patio cover. I made mine with 3/16" thick 3"x3"x10' powder coated steel. I would have also liked an option for tinted or solid color polycarbonate panels. I had mine tinted with 5% window film. I was glad I did for the shade I wanted. The directions for this unit are thorough and easy to understand. I also would have preferred an option for stainless steel hardware. I did purchase this separately but would have paid for this option and others previously described from Palmar. I do plan on purchasing an additional unit to cover the other half of my patio.
