This is one awesome flashlight! It is crazy bright!! The grip is very comfortable with the flat type grip vs. a traditional round flashlight. The flashlight is very heavy duty and I have no concerns of accidentally dropping the flashlight or getting it wet. The multi brightness feature is nice for using the flashlight in areas where you don't need the high brightness setting is nice. This also helps save battery life. Great product!!

This compact light is super powerful. It has three settings, from blinding to normal. It feels solid and indestructible. They advertise it as waterproof and I believe it. 700 lumens is about equal to a 65 watt recessed ceiling bulb in my kitchen, yet this is powered by a couple of AA batteries.. I have included three photos demonstrating the three brightness settings.

Love this flashlight. It might seem simple, but the shape is awesome. It fits nicely in my hand and does not roll around if I have to lay it somewhere. It kind of looks like a taser. It has a cool rubberized grip so it is easy to hold onto. The flashlight has three light settings. When you push the button once, the brightest light setting comes on. Push again, a little dimmer, push again, more dimmer, push again, off. This is a nice feature because the first setting is blinding and I can use less brightness to save battery.

A seriously bright light! It's a light that is best kept in the hands of adults. Beside it being super bright, other key features that I like is the flashlight unround aluminum case design. The case is very solidly built with water-tite plugs for the battery compartment and should sustain 9+ foot drops as claimed without issue. The case has a good "feel" to it with the pistol grip design, very comfortable in-hand. The unround design means the Flateye light will stay in place. The light output is awesome with a color temperature around 7000k or higher? The light spread (flooding) is best at a distance, so this is not exactly the flashlight to use to see to dig through your tool bag. It makes a great light for walking at night. It casts a clean beam. The light does have 3 brightness settings; the first being the 700 lumen, the second is just over 400 lumen is about perfect for use in a tent. The third setting is the lowest at just under 100 lumens which works well for close-up work. It takes 4) AA batteries which polarity oppose in the separate cylinders (see photo). The Flateye does get warm at the lamp end when on the brightest setting for more than a couple minutes but never gets hot. A great design, a great light output, however, is not a flashlight you can give to kids - it's simply too bright.

Its compact size makes it perfect for camping or on the nightstand for emergencies.

The Flat Eye 700 lumens LED flashlight is a unique designed flashlight that has a flat profile that fits my hand well. It fits in a pocket well, is waterproof, and it has a hole for a lanyard attach point. It is run by four provided AA batteries which are secured by waterproof plugs that can be turned by a coin. This light has three modes: 700 lumens, 441 lumens, and 87 lumens. The 700 lumens is very bright and the maximum run time on 700 lumens is approximately 6 hours. It's a nice light.

The four AA batteries allow for amazing runtime. When laying on the ground the shape feels far better than a typical cylindrical flashlight.

Works well - bright setting is as expected. Dim setting very nice for some purposes, although I probably won’t use that setting a lot. Comfortable in the hand.

Works great ! Just what I was looking for. Very bright ! If you're looking for a light that won't roll away from ya when you set it down, This is it.

Oh boy, did it! My sister lives 18 miles out of town in Alaska. She was concerned going to the outhouse at night and didn’t have something that would shine far enough to see if something was out there. She says it lights up the whole forest and was amazed at how bright it was.

I doubt I could ever fully tell someone how much I like this flash light in a single review. I have never had a light that fit so well in my hand and produced so much light in a tiny package. It has been running on the same batteries I first put in and I had no idea they would last this long. It has now went all over the USA with me camping and I just replaced all my AC ducts and still no dead batteries. I have also dropped it from about 20-25 feet with hardly a ding. It is a fantastic light and I highly recommend it. I also would like to add the three selectable brightness is a nice touch because the highest setting is way to bright at times.

This is a very unique flashlight, that's for sure. Here's what I liked. I liked the three different brightness settings. The top brightness is decent but limited by the AA battery type, which is easy to source and inexpensive. I sometimes like how it's flat and cannot roll very easily off a surface, and it made of high quality aluminum and is both shock and waterproof. What I do not like is that I have to cycle between the three settings to turn the flashlight off, as well as the button being very small. Also it is bright but somewhat wide-angled and has no focus settings. The handle feels familiar in my hand and I appreciate the anti-roll feature but I'm not the biggest fan of it. I also do not care for the fact that I need to use a tool (a large flat screwdriver) to change the batteries. All in all it performs well, but is quirky. If you can look beyond its quirkiness and focus on the performance I think you will be very happy with this unique flashlight.

BEST EVER!!! I can't say how awesome this is because there just are not words. IT IS BRIGHT and VERY VERY useful. I love it. It feels really comfortable in the hand and is not to heavy. The only down side is on the brightest setting the end gets a little hot....well for as bright as it is I'm surprised it only get a LITTLE hot. This is just a great flashlight.

Don't point it unless you mean it! This is a seriously bright flashlight on its highest setting (one 'click' of the button), although it does also have two lower settings (2- and 3-clicks, 4th click is "off" again). After installing the batteries (4 AA Energizers, included), I pointed it at the ceiling and turned it on and... even though it was a well-lit room in early-evening daylight, everyone noticed. This is a rugged, solidly-built flashlight. I did not test it's claimed water-resistance, but it certainly built right. My only nit-picking complaint? The markings that show the correct polarity of the batteries are etched in the black case and are very subtle.
